wrinkle free shirts for men - reviews
I've loved the non iron shirts for years, but recently put on a few, ahem, extra pounds. I stayed in my same size and moved from the slim cut to the modern cut. The size "upgrade" was perfect. The shirts travel very well in a suitcase all day and need just a light iron before wearing. Through the day, the shirts perform exactly as described and you don't ever look disheveled at the end of the day (well, you might look disheveled, but the ... still looks great.)
Great fitting and great looking ... This is a great ... not too tight or too loose. Plus it is wrinkle resistant. Thanks BR.
The nearly ideal ... Ok, so I'm picky. If I can change anything, I'd get rid of the pocket and make it more sleek. I'd also like to add a stretch version (if that's even possible with the non iron). Otherwise, these shirts are perfect. Like another reviewer said, it is a bit snug around the chest/shoulders. But, unless your a meathead, you'll be okay. The neck is finally a size that a normal person can wear, unlike BR's dress shirts of past. Great ... add to your collection. I have multiple colors and will be getting more of these in white. You can never have enough white dress shirts!
Well made dress ... guys with some muscle My boyfriend hates dress shirts but immediately liked this ... He's had a problem with other dress shirts being too wide or too narrow, as he's not overweight and he's not a thin guy. His chest is about 39 inches around and his waist is about 32 inches. He's very happy with this ... medium and actually wants to buy more. This marks the first time he's ever wanted to buy more dress shirts. The material is soft and the wrinkles do come out on their own! Good news for me -- less ironing.
the one white ... rule them all! this ... marvel of modern cotton engineering. i put it on straight out of the box and nary a wrinkle, as promised. this is not your father's clean, white ... but more like something a new american james bond might pull out of a waterproof back pack after scuba sidling surreptitiously up to the evil, patch wearing bad guy's private island to then suddenly appear in the casino for a round of baccarat. it's that handsome and high tech. if i didn't know better I'd say this ... made with magic. and the sizing was baby bear's bed - just right.
Loving these shirts, bought 3 earlier in the year and 3 more recently - Best shirts everI bought three earlier this year and 3 more last week all different colors. Of the various non iron dress shirts that I have bought over the years (Brooks Brothers, Joseph A. Banks, Tommy and BR), these are the second best (BB #1). The only place it tends to wrinkle is where the elbow bends, but only when it is 100% humid, but that is to be expected with most shirts under most conditions (except BB). The color, feel and look easily surpass all other shirts even BB. Shirts from BB can be washed, dried and hung and will look perfect, really, so there is no need to pay $2/shirt for laundrying them. I didn't try this with these BR shirts, but I also "now" have my laundry picked up, but I doubt they will look the same. I had the sleeves shortened on these, but never before on any BR shirts, so the real cost went up by $20 for tailoring. I have received several complements on the color, look and feel from other women.
Excellent well fitting non iron ... I've bought non iron shirts from other retailers such as JOS Bank and Brooks Brothers. They all have good non iron material but the fit is less than appealing. These banana republic non iron shirts are outstanding. The cloth material does not feel like cardboard or stiff. Its not thin or cheap. On top of that they fit very well. Almost like a modern fit but not too slim or baggy. Love these specific shirts. I wish BR would make more shorts like these in other colors.
Great ... - but... This is a great ... normally wear a 16 1/2 x 35 and this fits me perfectly. The only thing that is a little strange is that the Medium Blue color is a little shiny. I'm not sure if its the wrinkle free treatment, which I really like, or the fabric itself, but my coworkers definately notice when I'm wearing the "shiny ...
Nice dress ... This is a great classic white ... holds its shape and doesn't wrinkle up and look too casual. I think non iron is pushing it, as it is a dress ... without ironing it will not look pressed in any way. It doesn't wrinkle excessively however. The price is high on this item, but a good deal if you can grab it on sale like I did at the 40% off!
Great ... The ... fit perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. Even after an entire day of standing, sitting, and walking around it kept it's crispness and didn't wrinkle. Definitely recommend it!
Convenient, but priceyThis is a nice and versatile ... It's not exactly wrinkle free and does require a quick press before wearing it after a wash. Still, it makes getting out of the house in the morning a little easier. The fit on this ... little unusual. Sleeves are slightly longer than usual and the chest is a bit tight. However, the ... still within acceptable size tolerances. I would definitely not pay full price for this item. As with other BR clothing, wait until it goes on sale or use one of the many discount codes available. This is definitely not an [$] ...
