Finally found a good replacement for the great Gap tees I had bought in the past. This is a nice weight unlike everything at Gap and Old Navy. Love this ... getting more colors.

Timeless tees are timeless
V neck it new to me, but I have been wearing timeless tees for years -- very happily. I now have this version in 5 colors.

Staple T
I buy several of these v neck tees every year. They are a basic staple for any wardrobe.

Timeless ... oh so timeless
In May of 2010 I bought a few timeless v neck tees: black, white, salmon and light green. I like to machine wash them in a cold water gentle cycle and then hang to dry on a folding rack. When dry I "press" out the wrinkles (there are only a few) with my hads to put in my drawer. Voila, when I wear it, it looks like new. These ... hold up so incredibly well. I just bought two more a few weeks ago in white and black -- not because they others look worn or pilled. I lost some weight following a double knee replacement and went down a size (I wear a small now). I probably wear 2 or 3 of these ... each week. They look great under a suit with a colorful necklace.

A great Basic
I love BR timeless tees and own them in many colors. They are a great basic to throw on with jeans or under a suit. The construction is of a high quality thick cotton, camisole not needed under the white shirt. I hope this remains a basic and construction doesn't change....

short sleeve timeless V neck ...
I ordered this v neck ... white and gray for my recent travel abroad. I wanted something comfortable and soft that would be wearable with a sports bra to walk about or just with a pair of jeans or khakis. I ordered a size small in both online, and was glad to see they fit properly. I have a larger chest but narrow rib cage and waist so it's a gamble between a M and S most times. The chest was a little snug, but did not appear to be too tight in the front or around the back. So I'd say they were a perfect fit. I have a long torso, too, so having the shirt a little longer than the waist was very aesthetically pleasing as well. Overall, I think these tees were a great buy (got them for [$] each I believe) and a casual staple everyone should have in their wardrobes.

Love Banana Republic Tees
I have always loved Banana Republic tees. They're durable, not thin (I hate those see through thin tees!) and I especially love that the sleeves are a little longer. You can dress these tees up or down and the price is right. (You're actually getting more than just a ... shirt out of the deal!) I do wish they offered more colors, though. I'd buy them. I have one in creme that I bought a long time ago, and it needs to be replaced.

Time to grow up and get some new colors, BR
Dear Banana Republic: You are confusing "timeless" with "dated." Everything is drab and dowdy black/white/grey/some hideous shade of pink. The t shirt is nice and sure, everyone wants their basic black tees, but come on. Time to grow up a little and be even an iota fashion forward. What about updating your colors or offering something beyond the slumpy long length for those of us who are sick to death of endless generic skinny jeans and huge unflattering old lady t shirts? Live a little and I might spend a little more. Sincerely, reluctant BR customer

different than long sleeve version
I love this line of tees, and have several long sleeved versions, but this one fits smaller than the long sleeved style. The bust is much tighter. My large tees fit fairly loose but this large may have been missized because it was very tight. I returned it.

Bring back the old version!
I love the timeless tees I bought a year or two ago, but the cut here is different. The v neck is lower and the t shirts are tighter, although the sizing among colors is not consistent.

Done after once in the wash
I was excited about all of the great reviews and bought two of these tees. I just washed one, and the entire seaming on the bottom hem came undone on one of the shirts - on the very first wash! Needless to say, a bit disappointed in the quality, and sad that a brand new shirt is ruined.
