I'm a size 14 and 5'11". I ordered a pair of ... Taupe in size 14, ... found that ... hug WAY too tightly on the butt and thigh for a curvy figure. I also think the ... inseam is not true to size. I am a 35-36" inseam and found ... too short. ... just right for flats or a small heel until washed. Will need to get the hem altered/released. Overall, the quality of the ... great. The material is stretchy & forgiving and the rise is just right. I am going to try ordering again in a size up to see if it makes a difference.

Great ... perfectly and come up a little higher to prevent "muffin top". The little bit of stretchs is really flattering though ... slightly on the small size - I had to go up one size from regular. The long length is also great. I'm ... 6') and can wear ... heels wich is a huge bonus for me. Overall, a great purchase.

I have the wrong body type for slacks, ... comfort of a jean in a work appropriate ... I'll agree with the others regarding shrinkage...I've finally found a solution. I've purchased over 5 pairs and LOVE them, but ... carefully clean. After a few shrinking nightmares (where BR took the shrinked ... back, so ladies, go get your money back) I am really explicit with my dry cleaner. ... CAN'T wash them! Some dry cleaners was ... unless you are clear...also ... SHOULDN'T PRESS with a center seam (or the fabric will burn and get all shiny). If you ... good drycleaner who follows directions you shouldn't ... any issues. I am a ... get them hemmed...there's nothing worse than floods on a ... girl. I gave them four stars because of the shrinkage issue...they should figure this out especially since ... aren't cheapos.

Flattering ... - but the length changed 2" when I washed them.
The ... flattering. I'm ... so I ordered the long. I was shocked that ... were longer than ... legs! I returned for a regular, which was a great length - and then I washed them - maybe I shouldn't ... but the ... stretch in them usually wash well. The shrinkage in the length brought ... usually ... regular ... fall - above the ankle. I'm going to see if I can ... tailor bring the length down. I may order the longs for the next pair so that when I wash them ... probably shrink to the correct length. Overall I like the ... - if I can just figure out how to get the length I need.

I love the ... - they're super flattering in the waist and rear, and ... seem like they're made of good quality material. But the 10L is too short - it did not come with the advertised 36" inseam. I'm 5'10", and I measured ... inseam at 35" - ... don't touch the ground when I'm barefoot. That was disappointing, since it puts any heel height at all out of the question, and they're almost too short even for flats, and the shortness is accentuated by the flare. I wish ... BR still carried ... sizes in the store, as I probably would not ... bought them if I had known how short ... would be. Just a heads up to the ...

I wrote a review earlier but I wanted to write another review. These ... great, with the correct size. I wear a 6 in Ryan, and the Logan 6 was a full size too large. I returned them and bought a size 4 and now these ... perfect. A fantastic pair of slacks. I also ordered the Logan Plaid and they are 1/2 a size too big. I exchanged for a size 4 also, and they ... well everywhere except the waist. I have to let out the waist and they should be fine. The Logans are modern and sleek fitting-- cool sexy ... Along with the Ryan Straight cut, they are the only BR ... wear. Size down and you'll love these ...

Great for athletic bodies
To the people who think these ... too tight on the hips and thighs to be appropriate for work, you need to read the ... description before criticizing a ... doing exactly what it's designed to do: to give people with narrow hips and a small butt a ... isn't saggy around the crotch and baggy around the thighs. These ... straight figure, not a curvy one. I have narrow hips and muscular legs. These ... perfect. I have been searching far and wide for good ... wear to professional conferences and lectures, and I've finally found them. I don't have to have muffin top if I buy ... my hips or a funny looking crotch if I buy ... my waist. These ... everywhere just right. I also found these ... true to size in general, but small as compared to casual ... Logan ... I'm 5'7, usually a size 12, and I weigh 170. I have an athletic build (with some fat over it), especially in my legs (runner and cyclist), and am glad to have ... don't make my legs look lumpy from the muscles.

Great pants, wish the sizing were more consistent
These pants have a slim cut that works well on a less curvy figure. They are a great replacement for some old trouser cut pants that were really starting to look dated. The wool is very smooth and the full lining means no itching. The black pants are smaller overall than the black/grey stripe pants, and I had to order a size smaller than the taupe Logan ... straight leg pants I ordered just a few weeks ago. I am delighted that BR offers such a wide selection of tall size clothing. I just wish the sizing were more consistent so I wouldn't need to order multiples every time.

These ... far the best model I have purchased from Banana Republic. The ... slimming an the cut is just right. I don't have wide hips (hourglass shape), but am a short 5'3" ... so I purchased the short inseam and they are perfect! The only thing I would recommend to BR designers is to make them with pockets (these don't have any pockets), and in a variety of colors so I can get more of them. Thanks BR!

Fabulous!
I ripped my old black ... so bummed! BR didn't have the same style anymore. I ordered several different styles both from Gap and BR to find my next favorite. Found them!!! These ... bit snugger than my normal trousers, so I bought a size up. Could be that I needed it anyway though. I wear a ... they are a great length, the fabric is just the right thickness, and they are fully lined. Definitely will be buying again.

Tall women come in all shapes and sizes.
Please make tall pants in a size 0. Just because a woman is tall does NOT mean she is bigger. Tall women come in all shapes and sizes, just like average and petite women. Also, it would be FANTASTIC if you would start selling your tall clothes in the store - especially since you sell petite clothes in the store already. Tall ... already suffered for years and years not being able to find anything at all (you can hem a ... too long, but you can't extend a ... too short, yet petite has been around for ages!) - now that clothes are available to actually fit us, it would be awesome to be able to try them on in the store instead of waiting 5-9 business days to see how they look with all the other clothes we can purchase same day at the store. Thanks! PS THANK YOU for making these pants! For long and lean people, they are SO perfect. They don't hug me too tight because unfortunately I don't have a lot to hug. I used to look like I was SWIMMING in my suit pants. Now they look just right! And for [$] you can't go wrong. I was actually pleased to find that I ... into the size I ordered perfectly. I do think they run a little big, and also the stretch helps. Love the ... length ... fabulous and they look really nice with my other work clothes. Overall very nice ...

Modern & slimming pants!
I fell in love with the Lightweight wool suit jacket and wanted a pair of pants to match. Initially I tried on the Martin ... These simply did not work for me- the rear was not flattering and the fabric puckered terribly in front. Then I ordered the Jackson ... online because I tend to find that "curvy" cuts work best for me. I am 5'6", 125 pounds, with an average build but full in the hips and butt. I ordered a size 2 in the Jackson ... believe the Jacksons are made for someone who is VERY curvy (hourglass figure) because for me, they had way too much room in the rear and the fabric actually sagged. As a side note, I will mention that the Jackson was a bit too wide leg for my taste as well. Lastly I decided to give the Logan ... shot but was not optimistic. Imagine my surprise when the size 2 ... perfectly and are just what I have been looking for! I love how the slim leg makes me look tall and lean. When paired with the suit jacket, this creates a very professional and stylish look.

Versatile Work ...
I am 5'9 and these ... perfect length with heels. I was expecting a thicker wool ... but it is definitely a wool blend, so they may not stand up to the Chicago winter. It is definitely a sexier black work ... which will transition well from work to happy hour. I would definitely purchase this cut again!

Great ...
I love these ... looking for a nice pair of work ... these are perfect. Its a lightweight fabic that didnt wrinkle, gather or loose shape by the end of the day. The looked just as great by 5pm as they did at 5am when I put them on (yes long day). I am 5'10 AA female with a curvy but toned body. The ... made my legs look longer and leaner. I ordered a size 14T to accomodate my round rear but that meant the waist was too big but that's typical. What's not typical is that my legs looked longer and leaner. My only complaint is not the ... but the price and the ... have to be dry cleaned.

Nice ... but not for a suit...
While these ... well and are true to size, they are not very appropriate for work or as part of a suit. They are VERY slim fitting, and while they made my legs look a mile long, they are too form fitting to wear to the office. Perhaps these would be good for wearing out in the evening, but I find it odd that BR pairs this new cut with their suit jackets. I purchased my normal size and the ... version so I could wear with higher heels (I'm 5'7" and find that the Regular length is not long enough to wear with heels), and they were a bit loose in the waist but ... well otherwise. As a nice pair of dressy ... these would be great, but I was really after something to wear to work with the matching suit jacket.

Little Black ...
I bought these ... my daughter to wear to a college interview. She cannot stop talking about how much she loves them. They looked great and made her feel confident about her appearance. They are well made with lovely finishing details. My daughter is 6 feet ... length was perfect even with a little heel.

The Best ... EVER
I have several pair of ... Jackson ... These are my favorite style. They are can be dressed up or down depending on the accessories. The ... perfect and the length works with a 2 1/2 inch heel perfectly. I wish you would make these in a brown or other color. I have so many of these ... black. There was a great dk green in the flannel ... few years back. These are a great neutral without being black. Please keep making the lined Jackson and all of the Jackson style ... hips They are the BEST!

I love these ... own about 6 pair of them. I wear them almost every day. These ... me perfectly. I'm a size 2, about 124 lbs. None of the other ... styles ... like ... do. I don't understand why they're not in stores anymore. Bad decision BR!!! I need more work ... perhaps a light grey all weather wool.

Super nice ...
I have a very difficult time finding ... love. I am extra ... waist down and a bit blessed in the hips and thighs. The Jackson ... provides that roomy seat for curvier girls without losing the ... waist. The lightweight wool suit ... well made, with neat button details at the waist. They are fully lined and comfortable as well as versatile. I have worn them to work, then changed tops and gone out. I am thinking of adding the other colors to my collection.

If you have curves....
Then the Jackson ... only ... BR that I've found that compliments us. I am a size 6 with curves and tiny waist and these ... me perfect. No buckling in my waist and ... through my thighs and seat very comfortably. I've read where many people have stated BR doesn't carry them in the stores, but they do carry them in their factor stores. At least the one at the North GA premium outlets does. I just purchased 5 pair today because I was just excited to find a pair of ... didn't need to be altered at the waist! So ladies, if you have a BR outlet near your home, visit them and you may just find those Jackson ... save a little more money too. Good Luck!

... little too baggy for my taste
I have ginormous pear shaped hips, so I bought these ... because they were advertised for hippy girls. Its true, they ... well around my massive hips and thunder thighs, but its too baggy around the rest of the legs for my taste. I'm going to try another style of ... slimmer ... see if its not too tight around my hips. Otherwise, I will probably have these ... altered. ... nice ...

Jacksons, my reliable favorites
Thank goodness a wide range of Jackson ... back because the Martin ... has been all over the board. These ... slim the waist and I always get compliments on them. The slanted pocktes don't bulge and they aren't snug in the rear. I am 5'9" and the regular length was good with heels. My only gripe is the rise is short. If BR offered 0 talls, I would have went w/ ... would size down at least 1 size from your Martin size.

I'm pretty sure I have the Jackson ... just about every color/pattern. They are the ... curvy girl's best friend as far as work appropriate slacks. My only beef is that there are slight variations in ... among the different colors. For example, the black seemed to ... little snugger than the grey. I'm not sure if it's a QA issue or by design. So, I took off a star for that. Other than that, I love them. BR please keep adding additional colors/patterns!

Great ... can use some change in the front
I had quit wearing ... because I couldn't find a pair that fits so well until now. Wow, these ... amazing, no need for alterations. However, the front still forms horizontal 'pleats' around the crotch area when it shouldn't. I doubt it is just me but it could be. It is less benign than the other BR fits (Martin, Logan and Sloan) that I have tried but still some room for improvement. Also love the fact that these ... lined. I normally have to go at least a size or two up in ... because I have a time waist but wide hips but in these the size 6 ... perfectly (5'4", 134 lbs) Check out the matching jacket, it is absolutely adorable. I bought the jacket first and then the skirt and the ... Unfortunately, the skirk slides up all the way to my breasts when worn with a shirt tucked in. Not sure why. It fits fine otherwise. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the lightweight wool collection. And did I say that jacket is amazing?

Meh, way too flared and sailor looking. I''ll keep hoping they''ll get it right next season.
I wanted these to work, I have older pairs of Jackson ... they are getting worn out so I really wanted these to work. I love the fabric, I love the ... hate the pockets, the buttons, and the huge flare legs. The buttons and flare leg screamed, "SAILOR" to me, why do the buttons need to be there in the first place? None of the other fits have buttons awkwardly placed like these do, they don't add to the design of the ... any way. The pockets also screwed up the ... me. Slash pocket have a way of flaring out and making me look wider at the hips. I have hips already, I don't need any help in making me look wider. And the flare leg, a "gentle flare" of nearly 11 1/2 inches. ... legs have been getting NARROWER the last few years, not wider. Come on BR designers, simple ... variety of fabrics and colors like you do for the other fits. It shouldn't be this hard. Curvy girls need ... too!
