Love the ... these pants
I've always loved the ... pants...these are no exception. I have size 4 ... trousers from 8 years ago! I'm still a size 4 today :-) I will be buying a second pair of these so my suit lasts longer.

These pants are AMAZING!!!!!!!! BANANA REPUBLIC, PLEASE NEVER CHANGE THESE PANTS & PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THEM!!!!!!!!!! BR, you will always have a loyal customer in me if you keep making these pants as they are. Please make them in as many colors as possible. These are a classic wardrobe staple. I am 25, 5'10, and wear a 12 Tall, and it is very difficult for me to find pants that fit great. These pants are remarkable. I would say that they fit very true to size because I wear a 12 in everything else. I just bought about 4 new pairs of these and they are amazing. I'm a healthcare professional and I wear trousers almost every day in the office, so I require several pairs. In addition, I wear them out to nice dinners, etc. Ladies, I have tried every brand out there... and finally the search is over for the perfect pants; these offer the style, quality, durability, flattering fit, and comfort that I need for work and play. These are true quality trouser dress pants. My legs are 35in inseam so I am going to get a couple of pairs hemmed so that I can sometimes wear flats; the others I will leave as is so that I can wear heels (it's nice to have the option!!) Banana Republic, I should note that I bought 1 pair of martin fit suit pants in 2007 with the exact same material makeup as the ones I just bought (tag says martin fit stretch, same size, and exact same materials as the ones I just bought) but the ones I just bought have a FAR superior cut and fit to the ones I bought in 2007. The ones I bought in 2007 had a narrow waistband and do not fit like the ones I just got. I love the wider waistband and fit of the ones I just got so much better!!! The ones I just got fit like the martin fit pants I used to buy back in the day (before and up until 2005ish) and fell in love with!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for going back to the best and listening to your customers!!!!!!!

Good pants
Excellent ... ordered two sizes and sent back the one that didn't ... which in this case was the size 4. I agree with a previous reviewer that just because it says ... doesn't mean it will ... like another ... already own. This is frustrating. I do like the fabric very much. I would get another pair.

Great Suit Pants
I love the ... these pants (as I love all my ... pants), and the fabric is great. Very lightweight, but the pants are fully lined and thus still comfortable in the winter. They look great with the matching jacket, and I will definitely be buying these again. I just wish the tall suits came in more colors and variations!

Love these pants, more colors please!
I love these pants, I have a hard time finding pants that ... me well (I'm 5'10") so the fact that they come in tall is great. Would love to see the ... tall pants in more colors like gray or navy.

Great pants but...
Love these pants, have in all colors, only they run smaller than your typical ... though I have noticed by other reviews that there is no longer a typical ... love that I don't dry clean them even though that's what the labelsays... wash, hang to dry and then you'll need an iron. A bit high maintenance, but worth it... just swallow your pride and buy up a size! :)

Love the pants, longer than the ones I tried in the store, belt loops are a bonus
I have a couple pairs of ... pants, and this is the first pair I will have to have altered to make about 3/4 inch shorter. I am 5'7" and have always been able to wear regular length BR pants off the rack. I tried these on in the store and they were perfect with a 2" heel, but these ones are just too long. I debated sending them back and seeing if they would send me a different pair that would maybe be the right length, but I'll just pay the $20 to get them altered instead (hate getting pants altered). They would have been 5 stars if I didn't have to alter them. I am a slim pear shaped gal and these pants ... great, and the lining makes the pants nice and sleek, no bumpy bulges on the behind. I got these with the blazer to wear as a suit, and this is one of the only suits I found that you can wear a standard belt with, which in turn, is what I attach my gun to. So, ladies who wear guns to work, I highly recommend a BR suit!

Confused
I'm just not sure what's going on with BR's sizes. I used to be confident that if I ordered the same size online, it would ... perfectly every time. Now I have no idea, and have to try on 3 different sizes, which is exactly what I did with these pants. I'm 5'2", and 125 pounds. A few weeks ago I bought a Martin suit trouser that was a 4 Petite, and they ... perfectly with 3 inch heels. So, when I bought the ... black trouser ... assumed I should order the 4 petite. When they arrived, they were skin tight! So, I returned them, and ordered the 4 Short online. They arrived, and seemed huge! So, I finally returned them at the store, and settled on a 6 petite. They ... great in the length, but they're a bit baggier than I would have liked. They just don't seem to ... way they used to. But, I'm keeping them, because they work fine for my needs, and I'm tired of trying!

Disappointed in Fit
I have been very disappointed with the Martin fit since it was changed. Several ladies have said the sizing has changed and so do I. I have not changed sizes for quite some time, but I cannot count on things to fit. This is true not just with Martin pants but with all the clothes I've wanted lately. Ordering via the internet was a real treat, but in many ways lately, I cannot trust sizing. Too bad too because I still love the clothes. Photographs are great, but in real life NOT. A very long term customer has had to go elsewhere quite a bit. I am very sorry for that.

Unhappy with Martin Fit
I am very unhappy with the Martin fit ... Clearly they have changed how they size these pants. These pants are one size bigger than my previous order and are still too tight. I was wearing a size 6 Martin that still fits perfectly. Now an 8 is too tight. I returned them to the store.

I have 2 pair of size 4 martin pants from 1 1/2 years ago that fit me great. Martin style pants seem to be cut much different now. I had to go up to a size 10 in order to fit my thighs and then the waist was way to big. Instead I bought the Jackson fit online.
