Super comfort
These are hands down the most comfortable underwear I've ever worn. I'm very active and have had problems with underwear being uncomfortable in certain situations. With this cut and style, I forget I'm even wearing them. And, they look great too.

I have four men at home, this ... miracle. First of all the cotton never loosens, lint never sticks to them. It always maintains its condition like new. They all say they are very very confortable. I will never change to a different brand this one is the best!!!

everyday underwear
I was tired of my boyfriend wearing underwear that was too big and old and falling apart. He purchased some Banana Republic sport trunks at one of the outlets about a year ago. They became favorites. He nor I had ever purchased from the online store but I was guessing the underwear would be similar so I surprised him with some replacements for those he wore out. He was very happy with the feel and quality. They were also the perfect length. Everything as expected. He can wear them with anything. They are much better than his Gap trunks.

BR Undies
I love the fit and feel of these Banana Republic sport trunks. I'm very particular about my underwear, and these are some of my favorites. I liked the first pair I bought and ended up buying more. They're very versatile. Because they have a "stretch" quality to them, they're great for everyday wear as well as working out in. Don't leave them in the dryer for long, because they dry fast and the waist band starts to ripple. As much as I love these, I'd like to see BR make these in a 100% cotton version.

Great underwear with the occaisional bad one.
I really like the sport trunks (I've bought 14 pair in the last 4 months). The fabric stretches nicely and gives a body forming fit. As far as true to size I am used to the fact that I always have to buy the next size down on underwear for them to fit right (32W jeans but get size 28-30 underwear). As with any underwear the do loose some shape/support after wearing them all day but not nearly as much as I'm used to. My only problem so far is that the threading on one pair unraveled after only the second or third washing. I need to send them in for exchange. I did see that other reviewers had the same problem but luckily for me only 1 pair out of 14 has had that problem (however with the price of these it should be 0 out of 14). My favorite colors are Black, Green Heather, and Rooster Red. My only suggestion would be adding more of the spandex type stretch to the weave to make them hold their form better.

nice but
I 've been a Banana Repuflic customer for years now. I am a satisfied customer but within the past 2 years I noticed that the quality of the stitch is not the same. My shirts and my underweare stitch are falling apart after a couple of washes. Whats happening? I still recomend the product

Comfortable Fit
I'm writing this for my husband. These are the only ... briefs he will wear. The sports are the perfect length and do not bunch up under jeans or other pants. He says they are very comfortable. The only problem is they don't last too long with him, he is 6'2" and about 225#, (football player build) The large is a little tight now, he just went up to XL. The fabric seems to wear out on the bottom from friction, and they aren't cheep either. Other men may not have this problem if they are built differently.

Gone thru 20 in the last 5 years - Comfy not durable.
I'm a long time banana republic clothing fan. I have a closet full of BR stuff and I bought these underwear when they first came out about 5 years ago. All the black ones develop holes in the crotch after about 1-2 years. I have 3 pairs of green ones and they are considerably more durable for some reason, they've been going for about 2 years with no problems. I still wear these exclusively on about a 12 rotation.

Soft and Comfy, but falls apart.
Very nice comfortable underwear, too bad the quality is terrible. The leg stitching came apart in the wash after the FIRST wash in two out of six pair that I bought. I would of expected this from some underwear I buy from [...] but come on BR[...]

Need more color
With all the rave of color, you have left little to be desired with these underwear. You've offered the same colors for years. On top of that you're always out of sizes in the colors you do have. Such as the heather blue.

These are for men?
They may be comfortable and all that stuff, but they are missing one BIG thing that ... underwear should have. There's no fly, so these might as well be panties. Really, who makes ... underwear without a fly?! [@]? If you were these don't plan on [*], unless you're going to pop a squat and pee....... [@]. These fail as ... underwear.

Comfortable undies
What you would expect from a BR underwear. Comfortable fit and fabric, and doesn't ride up when you're active like other underwear.

Husband loves them!
My husband is a very difficult person to shop for, and he is very picky about his clothes.We only buy BR underwear for him. They wear great, last along time and he uses them as lounge wear as well...we have tried other stores but now we only buy BR underwear.

Stretch pima cotton boxer.... great all around, great fit!
I'm very picky about my underwear. These fit so well for me... I'm a medium frame and have always found it hard to find a pair of underwear the fits great, looks good, and is comfortable all in one. My only complaint... a little pricey. The only time I will buy is when I have some sort of discount coupon.

Great fit & feel!
They fit great, they are very soft & provide excellent support! You can use them for just about anything you need to do! As far as I'm concerned, they are the best underwear I've ever worn.

Very pleased
I bought these for my son for his birthday. Not a very original gift, but when he was home at Thanksgiving, I washed a load of clothes for him and noted that he underwear was looking very "tired" and worn. I know that he says that he has a shirt from BR that he loves, so I ordered boxer briefs and undershirts. He told me that he loves both and though he doesn't usually buy himself nice "undergarmets," he will be buying more of these for himself. I guess it might just become an annual birthday present! So easy to order on line and send directly to him! They are very soft and appear well made.

Best underwear ever
I bought these boxer briefs for my husband as a stocking stuffer, and he absolutely LOVES them! He said they were the best underwear he has ever worn....so soft, and barely feels like he is wearing them!

AWESOME AND SEXY!
The only underwear style and brand (Banana Republic) that my husband will wear . . . he LOVES the quality and comfort of this underwear and I LOVE how sexy they look on him!!! After 17 years of marriage I still love seeing him in his BR Boxer Brief underwear after getting out of the shower . . . so cute!

I was very excited to find that these ... were made with excellent cotton. They are very soft and ideal for underwear.

Tried and True
We have been purchasing the underwear and T's from BR for years for young and old and all find them good fiting and very comfortable. They launder very nicely and take on good wear and tear.

Substitute
The underwear are great but you substituted one of my dark colors for white. I did not order white but did not want to send it back for exchange due to the hassle for such a small item.

Bad Quality - Stretch Pima Cotton Boxer
The "Stretch Pima Cotton Boxer" of this purchase and also the last purchased as of November 26, 2009, Order #13GV2HQ are made of a very bad quality. After 3 or 4 uses the underwear just undone by parts. Even though, I like BR I am thinking to change to another underwear brand. That is not good for me because I really like BR.

Never thought I would wear briefs!
Stayed at my brothers apartment in DC while he was away on business, forgot to pack some ... (thought no big deal, my brother and I are the same size) Went into his underwear drawer after showering and there was one pair of ... few of these briefs. Never took him for a brief guy and the ... looked ragged. So what the hell, grabbed the briefs, and from the time I put them on, could not beleive how comfortable they were. so I took those and one more pair the next day when i was leaving. Told my roomate about it now he has switched to briefs, thanked my brother and he sent me some more for my b day. Love these briefs

I love this underwear
I bought this underwear few months ago and I always wear them to work never wear theme workout in. One day when i got off from work and I went to the gym to workout and I forgot my workout underwear at home. I have to wear the BR underwear to workout in. All have to say this a great underwear to workout in it get my packages in place night to tight or to lose to workout in. I just have to say this a great underwear. All guys should buy theme.

I rate these underwear right up there with all the designer brands for fit and comfort!

Great briefs
Mostly have been ... wearer but was looking for a low rise pair of underwear to wear with low jeans. These briefs are great low rise very stylish and comfortable. They don't ride up hold shape and you feel like your not wearing anything at all. Great pair of briefs and fun colors would recommend for anyone.

My Current Favorite Briefs
These are my favorite underwear right now. I have tried a lot of brands and styles and these are the best. When I know I will be seen in my underwear, like when going to the doctor, I pull these briefs out of the drawer. The fabric is very soft and the cut is perfect. I don't like briefs that are too high or too low and these are just right so that my underwear will show instead of my butt when i bend down. The colors are great, too. Although I would love it if they made them in more colors. If I didn't like wearing different colors and patterns of briefs everyday so much, I would definitely wear these everyday!

No more ...
A while back a buddy and i had been working in my yard and we decided to go for dinner. We showered and he asked to borrow some clothes and underwear. Instead of taking ... my drawer (which he normally wears) he took a pair of these briefs. At dinner he made several comments about them. Through out the night he kept saying how much he liked them. They are my fav to as I have about 12 or more pairs of them. When we got home he asked if he could take a couple pairs of them. I gave him a new box with two pairs and since he's been telling all our friends how much he likes these briefs. I'm here ordering two boxes for him, it's his birthday. This appears to be the end of him wearing ...

Buy extras
A couple years back i switched from ... briefs after trying some other brans i settled on these. Amazing fit and excellent comfort. My friend spent the night a while back and when he showered in the morning he needed clean underwear he grabbed a pair of these (he was a boxerbriefs guy) and marveled at the comfort. Since that day he has been stealing a pair every now and then. I'm buying some replacements today and some for him. I guess thats as good an endorsement as it gets.

Underwear
Good fit! Color stay as good as new after many wash already.Comfortable to wear. Pima cotton is a great material for underwear! I would recommend this product and plan to buy more.

Size Chart change to underwear
I really like BR underwear, I own multiple pairs of the standard briefs, and would recommend them in general. However, when I made my most recent purchase, I noticed that teh size range had changed. I am a 34/35 waist, so was buying the 34-36 briefs. Now the size has changed to 36-38 and 32-34. So I am now slightly between sizes, which has been frustrating because I bought two sets to compare and the smailler set is a little tight and the larger set is s little loose. But overall the quality and comfort of BR underwear is very good.

Nice, but definitely not for me.
This is my first BR underwear purchase and I had semi high hopes for these. Wow am I disappointed! I am a lean 6-1 168 lbs and after reading the various reviews decided to opt for a size medium which was my first mistake although I'm not so sure a size small would have been anymore satisfying. Other than the material and construction which are both top quality; the brief design is about as old fashioned and basic as can be. There is nothing low rise, slim fit, form fitting, modern, etc., about these briefs. They are full cut all the way around and not the least bit flattering in fit or style. They will be returned ASAP!

Fit is not consistent from one package to another
I was given these for Christmas a year ago and found they fit well and held up. However, when I ordered several pair recently I found that quality control was not consistent from one pair to the next. And the fit in the butt is the problem...the leg bands ride up and it's the most uncomfortable fitting underwear. But like I mentioned, some fit better than others. I contacted Customer Service and they asked that I return the underwear to them for inspection by an Online Customer Service rep. [...] I still didn't understand how anyone in their "Oneline Customer Service" group was going to know how the underwear fit or didn't fit. I won't be shopping on line with Banana Republic given their lame response to an [$] purchase.
