not the same as the old lightweight wool ...
I have been a huge fan of BR pants to wear to work for years. their classic staple, the lightweight wool ... best ... ever owned but now seems to be discontinued so I was happy to see something that "looked" like the same thing. it is not the fabric is stiffer than any other BR ... cut is narrower (despite being "classic" fit) and the pockets are cut closer to the side of the ... than any other pair of BR dress pants I own (I own about 5 pair, all 32x32 and they all are cut pretty much the same and fit great). I took the tags off right away because I've never had an issue with BR pants so I'm stuck with them maybe they just need to be broken in and dry cleaned...

I have a few classic fit pants from Banana, but lately the new classic fit pants DO NOT fit the same way as the others. I purchased a 33x32 and the ... too tight. The rear was very snug and uncomfortable. Additionally, I felt like there wasn't much room in the thigh area- so the pants were very tight when sitting down. When I went to a 34x32 the pants were way too big, and seemed baggy when combined with any of my dress shirts. I haven't noticed this issue with the Classic fit pants until recently, but all my other 33x32 pants still ... so I have to imagine this is an issue on BR's end.
