Fun summer ...
I have this tote in the lovely sea blue that they had a year or so ago and bought in gold for this year. The leather is super soft and the gold color is bright without being too strong or cheap looking. It is a roomy ... only one pocket in it (no zipper on the tote or pocket). Though it is deep, it is not wide so you don't feel like you are carrying a huge diaper ... tote. There is no dust ... comes with this. I have not noticed the gold rubbing off on any clothing or colors from my clothes rubbing onto the ... Overall, fun, light weight tote for spring and summer.

FABULOUS TOTE -Simple and Chic
Some reviewers are quite harsh on this tote and I don't see why. I am toting it around Aspen right now and *love* it! It is a simple, unstructured tote and is fabulous for what it s. It is large, yet lightweight --perfect for lugging stuff to the club/pool, playground, library, travel, etc.-- you can fit larger, bulky items in it and not be weighed down by the additional weight of the ... unlined, just has one small inside compartment (of sturdy canvas), a simple magnetic closure and unfinished top (as if cut with pinking shears -cute), but it's not meant to be a purse, organizer or a piece of luggage. The spare design keeps it lightweight and functional. The leather is butter soft, making it an easy carry and the rolled straps are very comfortable. Oh, and the sides can be collapsed inward to form a smaller triangle shape (point at top) when you aren't carrying much. I bought the metallic silver, which has a burnished look to it and gold tone as well. Very versatile. Simple and chic, not trying too hard and perfectly functional --fits right in here in Aspen!

The Perfect Tote
I lug alot of stuff to work daily. Gym clothes, lunch, breakfast, snacks, shoes. You name it. I purchased the leather tote in the cognac color (which is awesome). WOW, looks expensive. Holds everything. Is it flimsy yes. But it's a tote. I love it. I had a 40% off coupon which even made the purchase more exciting! If your looking for a tote this is it. This ... definately doesn't have all the bells and whistles but, I'm happy!

GREAT ...
Right up front I want to say that the best surprise about this ... isn't even hinted at in the pictures, is that if you don't have it crammed with stuff you can magnetically close it and the sides kind of tuck themselves in automatically so the whole thing takes on a triangular look that is just terrific. I have gotten so many complements on this ... which I am using as a ... along with my handbag when I go to work. Once the weather warms up I may just use this a purse altogether. Very comfortable straps to carry in your hand or on your shoulder. Larger than average pocket inside. Oh, and the leather is lightweight with a neat sawtooth edge at the top (like pinking shears) and seams (contrast stitching), with lots of nice character in the coloring. I thought I was going to get the blue one to be different, but the cognac "popped" against whatever I was wearing and looked elegant so that's what I've got and am loving it.

Very cute, beautiful leather
I love this ... lot, but beware that it is NOT lined and pretty thin. its great for on the go kind of days when you need lots of random thigs. great for traveling. the color is beautiful, unfortunately there is only one inside pocket (normal and expected for totes) and again its not lined thats why i only gave 4 stars. stitching stayed intact well after lots of use and adds great texture and extra detail, also i recieve lots of compliments every time i step out. perfect for all year round, especially fall! if your on the fence just invest in this ... you'll be glad you did!

green leather ...
Very cute spring and summer ... soft leather, good value. Saw other reviews stating the ... looked cheap, it does not, classic shape and styling, very "vineyard" like...

I like it!!
I had my eye on a very expensive handmade tote ... but decided to save $$ and buy the BR large tote. It is nicer than the price would indicate. Big, roomy and real leather. While i still covet the handmade tote, I am glad i got the much more practical BR one.

Great for the price.
Positive points: 1. Great for the price. 2. VERY spacious. 3. Smooth not heavy leather. 4. Perfect for the weekend. I leave the diaper ... home when I use this ... Originally purchased as a "carry all" tote for our upcoming two week Puerto Rico vacation. Negative points: 1. Could use some pockets. I keep seeing negaive reviews about the leather quality. Seriously people, for [$] this is good quality. If you are looking for better quality leather then feel free to purchase a Burberry black leather tote for $550. If that doesn't fit your bill but you still want better quality than this one, perhaps a coach tote would do.

It''s the perfect everything tote
It's a fun slouchy kind of tote, just like last year's silver and gold versions. Great for a travel carry on, great for everyday need-to carry-everything kind of ... use it as my everything tote - I carry a first aid kit, camera, makeup ... electronics, etc. inside along with a wristlet that holds my wallet. Once at the office and just running out for a bite I take the wristlet and leave the tote behind at my desk. That way, you have everything you need if you need it, but aren't always bogged down by it all. Also it's a nice rich color that I would imagine will age well.

Pretty Good Versatile Tote!
I love the generous size of this tote; You can just throw anything in there for the day, the plane trip, whatever, and it'll hold it all just fine. The leather is very soft and flexible. I'm so glad it's not stiff leather, but it was definitely more floppy than I expected. I don't mind too much though. I think the biggest thing I don't like, is that the straps are very thick and stiff. I wish they weren't rolled leather, or were made to be more flexible somehow. I just got the ... but I can see the straps slipping off my shoulder unless I put more stuff in the ... sort of weigh it down. It's not exactly what I personally was looking for, but it's still a good leather tote. The price is a bit high though; I would value it closer to 80 for the original price. I got the cognac color, and when I received it there were actually some marks/scratches in the leather already, but nothing that stands out and it actually sort of "proves" it's real leather. It's not noticeable unless you look sort of closely, and I expect it will scuff more as I use it. Like some previous reviews said, there's not exactly a second layer lining, but the external leather has a sort of felt backing to it that lines the inside of the tote. It's inseparable from the leather, but the tote is lined. Overall, if you are looking for a structured ... not the tote for you. If you just want a large, leather, "throw everything in" ... would be a good purchase and I recommend it. Hope this is helpful! PS: I'm a college student.

I was so excited to get this ... but the color was not white. It was like a light gray. I returned it. I do think it would be a great summer ... but really wanted it in a bright white.
