Tall Womens Wide Leg Pants
Jackson fit black lightweight wool flare
$98.00

Super nice pants
I have a very difficult time finding pants that I love. I am extra tall from the waist down and a bit blessed in the hips and thighs. The Jackson fit provides that roomy seat for curvier girls without losing the fit in the waist. The lightweight wool suit pant is well made, with neat button details at the waist. They are fully lined and comfortable as well as versatile. I have worn them to work, then changed tops and gone out. I am thinking of adding the other colors to my collection.

Love these ...
Thank you BR for making the curvy Jackson pant in long length. I bought this pant in every color. I'm 5'11", 154 lbs. and the 8 ... fits just about perfectly. The length is super long, so it's great for high heels.

Great slacks
These slacks ... my curvy figure. I just need to take the waist in some but the hips and rear ... great. They give me a smooth line. This is the first time I've tried the Jackson Wide leg and really like it.

Good fit for me.
I almost gave up ordering a suit online after reading many of the reviews stating that the sizes were all over the place and confusing, especially compared to prior seasons in this fit. I have also purchased the Jackson fit (although not in the lightweight wool) in prior seasons and wondered if I would get the same bad result. Some reviewers said that if you just followed the size guidelines on the web site, all would be well. I measured myself using the guidelines on the web site and came up with some crazy size I've never worn before in my life. I decided to ignore everything I read and just order the same size ... have in a pair of mostly cotton Jackson fit ... (4S), as well as one size bigger just in case. For reference, I am 5'4", generally about 125 lbs., and a bit pear shaped...and the size 4S fit just as I had hoped--no gap at the waist, not tight in the hips or pulling across the crotch, and the rise was just right. I didn't find the buttons at the waist or the wide leg to be extreme or sailor like. (The size 6S actually also fit, but they are definitely looser at the waist and through the hips). I'm not sure why there is such a disparity in opinion about these, but I guess it comes down to body type/shape. At least for me, these ... worked out well.

Great fit
I am so glad I was able to order these ... online. I tried on both the Logan and Martin in the store and neither style ... nor flattered my shape. I ordered the Jackson ... online with the blazer and both are a perfect ... wide leg minimizes my hips and thighs.

Love Jackson ...
I'm pretty sure I have the Jackson pant in just about every color/pattern. They are the ... curvy girl's best friend as far as work appropriate slacks. My only beef is that there are slight variations in fit among the different colors. For example, the black seemed to fit a little snugger than the grey. I'm not sure if it's a QA issue or by design. So, I took off a star for that. Other than that, I love them. BR please keep adding additional colors/patterns!

Great ... can use some change in the front
I had quit wearing ... because I couldn't find a pair that fits so well until now. Wow, these ... amazing, no need for alterations. However, the front still forms horizontal 'pleats' around the crotch area when it shouldn't. I doubt it is just me but it could be. It is less benign than the other BR fits (Martin, Logan and Sloan) that I have tried but still some room for improvement. Also love the fact that these ... lined. I normally have to go at least a size or two up in ... because I have a time waist but wide hips but in these the size 6 ... perfectly (5'4", 134 lbs) Check out the matching jacket, it is absolutely adorable. I bought the jacket first and then the skirt and the ... Unfortunately, the skirk slides up all the way to my breasts when worn with a shirt tucked in. Not sure why. It fits fine otherwise. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the lightweight wool collection. And did I say that jacket is amazing?

Jacksons, my reliable favorites
Thank goodness a wide range of Jackson pants are back because the Martin fit has been all over the board. These pants slim the waist and I always get compliments on them. The slanted pocktes don't bulge and they aren't snug in the rear. I am 5'9" and the regular length was good with heels. My only gripe is the rise is short. If BR offered 0 talls, I would have went w/ tall. I would size down at least 1 size from your Martin size.

Too loose in the rear and thighs for me.
These are gorgeous ... would look great on someone that has larger thights and rear with a narrow waist. I have a bit of a larger fanny than most so I thought that these would work out, but the extra fabric in the thighs made me look wider than I am as it just hangs and bucnhes below my fanny. These just werent the right cut for my body type but would look great on someone else. The fabric is high quality, the length is great and the wide leg is both comfortable and modern. I hope someone else can enjoy these.

Too Long
My fault they were too long, I ordered tall. My sis is 5'9" and I'm 5'8". She needs tall, not me. The pants came torn. Will return.

Meh, way too flared and sailor looking. I''ll keep hoping they''ll get it right next season.
I wanted these to work, I have older pairs of Jackson ... they are getting worn out so I really wanted these to work. I love the fabric, I love the ... hate the pockets, the buttons, and the huge flare legs. The buttons and flare leg screamed, "SAILOR" to me, why do the buttons need to be there in the first place? None of the other fits have buttons awkwardly placed like these do, they don't add to the design of the ... any way. The pockets also screwed up the ... me. Slash pocket have a way of flaring out and making me look wider at the hips. I have hips already, I don't need any help in making me look wider. And the flare leg, a "gentle flare" of nearly 11 1/2 inches. Pant legs have been getting NARROWER the last few years, not wider. Come on BR designers, simple ... variety of fabrics and colors like you do for the other fits. It shouldn't be this hard. Curvy girls need ... too!

THE black ...
If you are going to own one pair of black trousers this is the one. It slims without being too tight. I ordered them in ... my legs go on forever. They fabric is structured and great quality. Love them.

Flattering, comfortable work ...
I tried these ... store and they ... great, but were not quite long enough. I ordered the same size, but in a ... they ... just as well, with plenty of leg length.[...]so I could have them hemmed if I wanted them a little shorter. Since I wear somewhat extreme heals, I'm going to keep them the way they are. My only concern is that they have to be ironed inside out which isn't a deal breaker for me, but a bit of a nuissance - a steamer would work better.

Favorite ...
THis ... extremely flattering with its wide waisband, I just love it!

best ...
Previously BR ... not ... me well, because though I ... wide waist - I do not ... much in the hip/rear area and I ... thin legs. These ... perfectly! They hug me perfectly and are very flattering. I require a 35 inch inseam and these were long enough to wear 3 inch heels with. I'm planning to buy many more pairs!

Great work pant
I have the wrong body type for slacks, these have the comfort of a jean in a work appropriate pant. I'll agree with the others regarding shrinkage...I've finally found a solution. I've purchased over 5 pairs and LOVE them, but have to carefully clean. After a few shrinking nightmares (where BR took the shrinked ... back, so ladies, go get your money back) I am really explicit with my dry cleaner. They CAN'T wash them! Some dry cleaners was ... unless you are clear...also they SHOULDN'T PRESS with a center seam (or the fabric will burn and get all shiny). If you have a good drycleaner who follows directions you shouldn't have any issues. I am a ... get them hemmed...there's nothing worse than floods on a ... girl. I gave them four stars because of the shrinkage issue...they should figure this out especially since these aren't cheapos.

Great ...
The black runs smaller than other Sloan ... different material so I ordered one size bigger after reading reviews. They ... great . I am ... thin and the size 6 is still a bit snug in waist and hips and upper leg but I'm sure they will stretch out a bit after wearing them. Conservatively low as the waist falls just below the belly button. Very comfortable and flattering. Will order all of the colors available!!

Flattering ... - but the length changed 2" when I washed them.
The ... flattering. I'm ... so I ordered the long. I was shocked that these ... were longer than my legs! I returned for a regular, which was a great length - and then I washed them - maybe I shouldn't have but the ... stretch in them usually wash well. The shrinkage in the length brought these to where I usually have regular ... fall - above the ankle. I'm going to see if I can ... tailor bring the length down. I may order the longs for the next pair so that when I wash them they will probably shrink to the correct length. Overall I like the ... - if I can just figure out how to get the length I need.

Not the same...
I don't know what's with these particular ... but they are not the same ... black tweed ones at all! I bought the same size but there is at least two extra inches of fabric in the thighs that is just bunching up and looking ridiculous. In general I've noticed that when I try on a size 4 in the store and then order a 4Long online, they ... bit differently and are larger in the hips/thighs. Why is this, BR?? Just because I'm ... doesn't mean my legs got chunkier! So sad. Also, the solid black ... different texture of fabric, and don't seem to drape as well as the tweed ones that I ... These are definitely going back, but I really hope that the black twill and camel stripe versions will be the same cut as the black tweed, I just love those ...

Martin not true to size
Really loved the material of the ... however they run small. Additionally, I ... long legs and thought I needed them in TALL...wrong...TALL means really, really ...

hate it
... too tight - legs too wide - had to returned
Not very flattering
I have a few pair of the Ryan ... black trousers that I love (now too small!) and found when I looked for a new pair was told that Ryan ... discontinued but that the Martin ... just the same. As the stores don't carry ... x long I ordered this online. First of all the fabric is too heavy and stiff and doesn't hang well. The legs are too wide and they do not ... like the Ryan. I was very disappointed. Will have to search for a new trouser!
