Little Black Pants
I bought these pants for my daughter to wear to a college interview. She cannot stop talking about how much she loves them. They looked great and made her feel confident about her appearance. They are well made with lovely finishing details. My daughter is 6 feet tall and the length was perfect even with a little heel.
Love these pants!
I ordered these not sure if they would fit. I have great difficulty finding pants to fit my long inseam. The regular length fit well and looks great with short or tall heels. These are lovely and flattering. I wear them to work, to business events, and out for the evening. Lightweight and comfortable. I have only bought dress pants at Gap, but now I have another site from which to buy them. I would highly recommend these pants.
Fit like a glove
These ... remind me of the old Harrison style that I loved and BR discontinued. If you're curvy with a small waist these trousers are perfect!! No gaping at the waste and perfectly fitted for athletic legs. For reference I'm 5'6" and normally wear a size 6....and I purchased a 6 in these.
Great fit
I am so glad I was able to order these pants online. I tried on both the Logan and Martin in the store and neither style fit nor flattered my shape. I ordered the Jackson pants online with the blazer and both are a perfect fit. The wide leg minimizes my hips and thighs.

Thank you BR for making the curvy Jackson pant in long length. I bought this pant in every color. I'm 5'11", 154 lbs. and the 8 Tall fits just about perfectly. The length is super long, so it's great for high heels.
Great fit and quality
I am a recent convert to BR because of these Jackson ... own all three colors offered (black, grey and navy). The fit is perfect for me and the quality is amazing for the price. I learned through trial and error that I needed to order one size down, so instead of my usual 4 a 2 fits perfectly. I also love that the ... comes in short sizes. I am 5'4" and the petite is too short in the rise but the 2 short size fits my rather short legs. Thank you Banana Republic. PLEASE OFFER THESE ... MORE COLORS AND FABRICS. Brown and beige would be nice and some lighter weight washable fabrics for spring/summer would be great!
Great Pants!
I love these pants and it was a plus that I was able to buy them on sale. I love BR, but since I'm tall, I have to order everything online. I wish BR had a tall section in their stores. That way I can walk in off the streets and make my purchases and not have to wait for 2 weeks for my items to come. But I guess until they do that, I'll continue to order online. I do love the quality of the clothing.
Great fit, can use some change in the front
I had quit wearing pants because I couldn't find a pair that fits so well until now. Wow, these pants are amazing, no need for alterations. However, the front still forms horizontal 'pleats' around the crotch area when it shouldn't. I doubt it is just me but it could be. It is less benign than the other BR fits (Martin, Logan and Sloan) that I have tried but still some room for improvement. Also love the fact that these pants are lined. I normally have to go at least a size or two up in pants because I have a time waist but wide hips but in these the size 6 fit perfectly (5'4", 134 lbs) Check out the matching jacket, it is absolutely adorable. I bought the jacket first and then the skirt and the pants. Unfortunately, the skirk slides up all the way to my breasts when worn with a shirt tucked in. Not sure why. It fits fine otherwise. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the lightweight wool collection. And did I say that jacket is amazing?
Love Jackson pants!
I'm pretty sure I have the Jackson ... just about every color/pattern. They are the tall, curvy girl's best friend as far as work appropriate slacks. My only beef is that there are slight variations in fit among the different colors. For example, the black seemed to fit a little snugger than the grey. I'm not sure if it's a QA issue or by design. So, I took off a star for that. Other than that, I love them. BR please keep adding additional colors/patterns!
Too Long
My fault they were too long, I ordered tall. My sis is 5'9" and I'm 5'8". She needs tall, not me. The pants came torn. Will return.

I wanted these to work, I have older pairs of Jackson pants and they are getting worn out so I really wanted these to work. I love the fabric, I love the fit, I hate the pockets, the buttons, and the huge flare legs. The buttons and flare leg screamed, "SAILOR" to me, why do the buttons need to be there in the first place? None of the other fits have buttons awkwardly placed like these do, they don't add to the design of the ... any way. The pockets also screwed up the fit for me. Slash pocket have a way of flaring out and making me look wider at the hips. I have hips already, I don't need any help in making me look wider. And the flare leg, a "gentle flare" of nearly 11 1/2 inches. ... legs have been getting NARROWER the last few years, not wider. Come on BR designers, simple ... variety of fabrics and colors like you do for the other fits. It shouldn't be this hard. Curvy girls need ... too!
