I recently bought three tailored sateen shirts, and I am very happy with my purchase. The texture of the material is great.I fully recomend them. I only wish they would make them available more often. I went back to buy another color, and they didnt have it available. BR please give us more of your tailored sateen shirts!!!Thank you

Great Staple
I am a 34A and I found that both the tailored and fitted shirts fit me. The shirts still require some ironing, but no starch.

Long time favorite!
I am an absolute fan of these shirts. I prefer this fitted version (versus the tailored) and have purchased several of these through the years. To me, the fit is consistent and the quality is excellent, I have many of these for years and I am just able to add to my collection when a new color catches my eye. The sizing hasn't changed since these shirts continue to fit me the same, looks tailored and are extremely figure flattering. Don't dry clean or use fabric softener on these or you'll ruin the "non iron" feature and the sateen finish. I usually have these laundered at the cleaners because when I launder these at home, I still end up having to run an iron over them - they are more of an easy iron than a true non iron. Otherwise I love these and will continue to buy them.

Great ...
I love these Non Iron Fitted Shirts from BR. All colors are great and the fitted shirts are slimmer around the waist than the tailored. For me a better fit. I always order Size 4 in the fitted shirts, i'm 5.7, 36B, 120lbs. Suggestion: if you have a slightly bigger chest, i would order at least ONE size up, Material is easy to wash (i wash it inside out though) and i don't put them in the dryer, just hang them on a hanger... dry in one night! Easy to iron (I also iron inside out, especially the darker colored shirts). Would suggest these shirts to everyone who likes to look great in the office, on the weekends, at night... you can wear them at all times with sweaters, blazers, sweatshirts... thanks BR!

Nice, but small
I have bought many of the non iron shirts over the years and they are nice staples.I always get them on sale for (at least 40% off) which makes it worthwhile. I never tumble them but hang dry on hangers, which seems to make them last longer - less wear and tear on the fabric. However, like so many others have pointed out, the tighter version (the "fitted" ... small and not great for a medium or larger chest. The looser "tailored" ... much more size accurate. BR used to make this ... French cuffs too and it was super elegant, but no more unfortunately. I am a 5´6, 128 pound woman with a 34C cup and I am a typical size 6. But not for thie BR shirts. I buy a size 6 in tailored, but a size 8 in the fitted shirts (and even that is somewhat tight). If you haven't bought this ... before, I highly recommend you try the sizing in store before you order as the cut is somewhat iffy and you will probably have to size up, especially if you are larger than an A cup.

shiny shirts add a little sexy to a suit
I LOVE these shirts. I usually wear size 2 at BR, but the fabric in this ... makes the ... just a little bit too tight at my very average bust (34C). I went up a size, and it is a little too loose, but otherwise looks great. Very tailored and professional. Looks great under a black suit jacket very crisp.

Sharp!
This is a great top to wear tucked in with slacks or wide leg denim trousers. It's definitely tailored and accentuates the waist. It is a big snug around the midsection but a really nice, tailored look. So glad I bought it!

BR Essentials
These shirts are an essential piece to my wardrobe. I find the shirts incredibly versatile. For those that are chesty, I suggest getting one size larger. I am generally a size 4-6 in BR, but for these shirts I get a size 8. The ... looks very tailored in one size larger without stress on the buttons. I am a 36C and have found that 8 works in the bust region. Otherwise, you will have to use a camisole or a bra of lesser padding.

Tight and Tailored
I am 5'3, with a 34 B/C cup and I normally wear a size 2 in BR suit jackets, although I have to wear their petite pants. I can never wear petite shirts because the chest is always too tight, and the shoulders are too narrow. I thought I would find a better fit with these shirts. For the most part this ... works. The 0 was too small in the chest, but great in arm length, although I have rather long arms for my height. I was worried the 2 would be too long in the arms and look baggy. But, to my surprise the 2 was just fine in the arms and the chest had more room. My biggest complaint is that this ... not very long. I prefer to tuck my shirts in; so for this ... so slim and quite flattering due to it's tailored design, I expected the length to accommodate being tucked into pants/skirts. It doesn't come undone too much, but longer length would be nice. Overall nice ...

Have to get them tailored
First off, my measurements are 34.5" - 25.5" - 37.5" I've been slowly gathering some of these shirts over the past couple of years for a decent work wardrobe and think they're good shirts overall. That said, I have to disagree that the "tailored" is a "better fit for larger busts." The "fitted" goes in more at the waist, according to BR's own diagram at the top of the page. Even then I need to get them tailored. To fit my shoulders and arms, I can wear a 2, but I ended up buying size 4 to close over my bust and have had to take them in to get tailored in the waist. Other than that, they're great shirts. It'd just be nice to be able to spend the normal amount on these shirts without having to add the price of tailoring (or hunt down "big busted" tailored shirts online for $90).

Too fitted for me
The ... "fitted", and they mean it! Too tight in the waist for me. 5' 4", 135 lbs. I switched to the same ... "tailored" and it had just a little more room in the waist to be comfortable yet still have a nice sleek fit and not a loose style. If you have a very slim waist go for it else maybe try the tailored version.

classic, crisp never wrinkle blouse
Very comfy for a button down blouse. 3% lycra makes it non stuffy and great for many uses. Comes beautiful because it won't wrinkle. This blouse is lovely and classic and great for the everyday woman.I'd say it's pretty true to size, I am a petite and I got petite size, only a bit lenthy in the sleeves, otherwise it is well tailored

A work must have
This ... must have for work. Tailored and easy to wear. Petite sizing allows a perfect fit at the shoulders and arm length. Well made and not to disappoint- highly recommended.

Yay! :)
This is everything I was hoping it to be, and I plan on eventually purchasing one in light blue and light yellow. The sleeves are still a little too long despite the fact that I ordered a petite. Until I can take it in to get tailored, I've mostly been wearing it with rolled up sleeves and it still looks good. It fits correctly everywhere else but the chest. It gapes a little, but I think it's because I'm a little more busty. This is easily fixable by using fashion tape to make it stay where it gapes though. This was also my first purchase from Banana Republic and I will continue to purchase clothing from the company because it makes great quality clothing.

Thank you for making this ... Being a petite, I find it hard to find a nice fitted ... wear for work. This is only one of the few ... fit me almost perfectly (petite 00). I have bought more than 7 ... so far. The ... accentuates my waist. The buttons are positioned exactly what I want. The chest is great. The length of the sleeve is perfect. The color is awesome. However, it will be great if BR tailors this ... bit more. The ... armpit area is a bit tight when raising my hands. The length of the ... too short especially when I wear low waist pant or skirt. The material of some colors is too thin. Anyway, I love this ...

Love it but more colors
Love this ... have every color in this fit. wish it comes in more colors like the tailored fit.

Better than average
I have been looking for a tailored button down and knew BR would not disaapoint. Ordered my usual size and it fits great. Just a little tight in the chest and had to use some double stick to keep it from gapping but fit well everywhere else. I am petite and the length is not too short to tuck in as sometimes that is the problem with petite ... sleeves are a good length. I had to iron it coming out of the package but it stayed mostly wrinkle free throughout the day at work. I liked the ... but glad I got it on sale.

Very nice - but not for large chests
The fitted is a much smaller cut than the tailored ... does not have stretch in it and is cut very close to the body. If you have a larger bust, this cut isn't for you. I'm on the small side and it pulls across my chest enough to gap. If you are larger than a B, go with the tailored ... Otherwise, the fabric is very nice and the ... well made. The color is a very dark navy -- everyone thought it was black. Good work ... nice under suits too.

Tailored
This is a very sharp looking buttoned down blouse for women. It has that tailored look to it as well.

Nice fabric, beautiful color but sizing is strange.
I wear three different sizes in dress ... BR. I thought I would guess this one right but it runs small. The sleeves are shorter than those on my other ... one size smaller. Also, it is quite form fitting and a little tight through the chest. If you are used to their tailored collection, I would recommend ordering one size up.

button down ...
I need tailored ... work and i am a short person but they don't seem to fit me in the bust area. I normally werar a small to medium ... so i thought if i went up a size in the ... would fit. i need petitie for my arm leangth but they seem to be made smaller in the chest b/c it is petitie which is a problem. i am returning the ... 10P but i believe the arms might be too long. we'll see...
