Perfect as always
I love the way ... tops from Banana Republic fit. I now have 4 of them in this style and they are great for all occasions. I can dress them up for work, wear them on their own for weekends, and pair them with nice jeans for an in between look.The material is good quality and they look good even after years of washing and wearing. I have a smaller to average chest (34 B) and these ... tops always make me feel good, and my husband loves the way they look on me (he thinks they make my chest look good). Great buy, especially when they are on sale.

just as i expected
I purchased these as layering pieces to go under some rather low cut/deep v neck tops i purchased through another website. the colors were spot on and the fit is very comfortable to layer under lightweight tops. glad i purchsed.

Versatile, comfortable
I loooooove these ... tops! They look great on their own for a casual weekend look, or under my work tops. Great stuff! It's even better when they occasionally go on clearance.

Truly my Favorite ...
I just ordered three more of these in different colors because I love my white ones so much! They are great under cardigans, for lounging around, running errands, or for casual outings. With fitted tops like these, I typically buy a S instead of XS just so I'm not wearing something REALLY tight. I love the longer length. I only wish the chest were more fitted because I'm small there. Overall I can't say enough good things about this ... though. Great price and great, solid fabric and cut.

Perfect ...
I LOVE BR's ... tops. I've been using them for workout gear a lot lately, so my most recent purchase was two black ... tops. I love that the straps hit right where my bra straps do, so I'm rarely messing with them. I also use them for layering under all kinds of things. The length is perfect and they don't ride up a lot, which can be a problem for me because I have a small waist. I do wish that the white ones were a little less sheer, but otherwise they are fantastic!

Best ... Ever
I love this ... fits perfectly and works very well under under a variety of tops or by itself. It comes up just right under the arms to hide that bit that you don't want to see without being to tight. It doesn't gap under the arms either. After I purchased my original ... had to get more in the other colors. A very versatile piece of clothing.

Must Have Base ...
I bought this ... every color - it's true to size. The fit is amazing. The colors are wonderful. I am going to wear one of these tops with nearly every shirt and blazer this coming season. It's a great base for tops that are a little sheer too.

Great ...
This is a really great ... Size wise it is perfect for me, not sure how it will fit others though. I am a 32dd/34d and this ... perfect. It is a ... flatters without looking frumpy (which many can) or trashy (which most do). I am someone who buys many of an item when it looks great and I own 4 of these ... tops in various colors. Enough said.

Well Made but Not Well Sized
I love this ... has thick enough fabric to wear on its own, its straps are thick enough to cover a bra strap but not so thick you look matronly, and the back is a scoop instead of high like most. I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about when they say the fabric is thin; I think it's almost too thick to layer under another ... (though perfect for a cardigan). That said, the sizing is difficult. I usually wear a small in BR tops (occasionally a medium); in this, it's a medium or a large. I alternate between the two: the medium rides up a bit, often showing a bit of my belly, but the large has an over generous neckline, frequently letting my bra peek out. I imagine if I had a bigger bust it would be fine, but I'm a 34D, so I'm on the larger side. I thought of shortening the straps, but the way it's sewn into the hem that's pretty much impossible. I hope BR hears this and loosens up the lower part of this ... bit!

purple, not lavendar
i'd gotten this with the 40% off coupon, so figured it was worth the money... when i received it in the mail i was disappointed to find the color to be more of a deep purple than the lighter heather purple/lavendar pictured online... and as other reviewers are saying, it is a bit more snug than past BR ... tops... oh well, return...

Buy this ... JUST A SIZE UP!
I love how this ... looks a step above just casual. HOWEVER, I am usually a small everywhere, so I ordered a small for this ... but it is TIGHT. I am going to keep it because I can wear it under other close fitting tops, but I will not wear it by itself! I will for sure buy more, and in every color, but I am definately going to order a size up!
