I'm 5'3" and have a hard time finding pants that work with my curvy rear and non existent hips. These pants are rockin' on me though! I felt so confident in them, which says a lot for white pants! I got a lot of compliments on them and the matching blazer. I wish I could wear these pants every day. I was a bit hesitant about the cuff styling at the hem, and tried on every other fit of white sateen pants and skirt at my local BR store but these were by far the winner!

White pants
It's so frustrating to buy a pair of white pants for work, but none of your pants includes a linear. Liners are a must for white pants including linen. Why is that you are selling white pants for work, but refuse to put in a linear.

Purchased black ones in store. Happy with the sateen fabric and found them to be very flattering. I tucked the flaps in on the back pockets....they are more flattering that way. I wish they didn't have them at all. I'm 5' 98lbs...bought petite 0 and fit very comfortably. Just ordered the white online.

the pants fit well but in white, you can see the pockets and your skin color showing through - they need to be LINED to be worn so I have returned them

Sheer pants
These are nice pants except that they are unlined. Not flattering when one's underwear (even nude colored ones) are showing right through. Fits well but material is quite flimsy. This is going back.

White Pants
These pants looked really cute online. I tried them on and they fit great and looked great- other than you could see right through them. I am going to have to take them back.

white pants are hard to find
going back. Only lined the pockets - so it looks like you have patches on front and on your rear. Too expensive to keep for a cheap lining effect. The material was very nice but the look was unattractive. White pants have to be lined all the way or make the material thick enough so you cant see through them

These are my "Go To" ... am always reaching for them. I found that the J.Crew Minnie ... regular, not petite) is somewhat similar yet still not as fantastic as these! I really am in love with these ... They always look great and are so very flattering. Perfect for us petite ladies with curves! PLEASE MAKE THESE IN MORE COLORS!

Best fitting pair of pants in years!
I bought these pants on a whim. I used to be a strong BR customer but had fit problems in recent years. I must add that I am primarily an online customer. I originally was purchasing only the petite bermuda short, but for some reason, these caught my eye. Having a million pairs of black pants, I ordered the silky coal color. Long story short, the petite bermuda shorts were not good on me. Very boxy. The pants were a wonderful surprise. Beautiful fabric, very streamline, very flattering. And so comfortable. When returning the shorts to a store, I hoped they might have the pants in black. They did not (very small petite departments in the stores. : ( ). So, I ordered them online. My new go to pants for everything! Don't hesitate. Worth every penny!

These weren't the ... thought I was ordering but I was pleasantly surprised. They ... very well and my advice is to order your usual size in slim ... can wear a 0 or a 2 petite in regular ... but ordered a 4 in these after reading the reviews to size up a bit and I am glad I did. These ... look great with flats, heels, or especially with boots. I also like the bit of stretch they have as I think that will make them very comfortable in the long run.

Great for work, school, going out!
These ... awesome! I got them for work, but you can also wear them to school and on the weekends. They ... like a trouser through the thigh, but still fits like a skinny ... other areas (this is what makes them great for work, they are not too tight and therefore inappropriate)- very Audrey Hepburn ish. They look SO cute with flats, and I'm sure they'd look great with heals on the weekends. I got a size 0 petite, and they ... well (I'm 5'2", about 110 pounds, with 34-35" hips and 25" waist). They are a little long when I wear them with flats, but I just turn the hemline under and they are perfect and look great. I don't want to hem them, since I will also wear them with heels and will need that length. They are higher rise, but I like that, especially when wearing nice blouses, etc. for work. They really flatter my figure, which I think is petite, yet still curvy. They are great quality, (nice material, with some stretch) and I highly recommend them!

... Skinny ...
I own these ... both colors, plus the cropped version as well. These ... so flattering and comfortable and I highly recommend them. I'm 5'1", 100 pounds and I went with the petite 00. I usually take a petite 0 in BR jeans, so you may want to consider sizing down. Getting the right size (very fitted) is crucial for these to be flattering.

These ... my favorite! Nice, sexy, comfy and dressy for any occasion. They did not have my inseam in my size (5'4 110lbs) - all sold out so I ordered petite which the inseam was at 30 however the ... perfect because the the length came to my ankle and it looked more like a cigarette ... which I love! They ... true to size. These ... comfortable therefore I will wear it on a 10 hrs. flight to Heathrow....not sure if it will loosen up or retain its shape but these ... like second skin so I don't think it will be that loose. Ladies, buy these ... haven't worn it to work but have read several posts that said they have. My workplace is a little more conservative so I will keep this for personal use. Thanks BR for a good quality versatile ...

My pefect ...
I am 5'2" with an athletic, ... build, somewhere between a 6 and an 8. My usual problem is finding ... don't gap at the waist while "kindly" shaping my hips and making my legs look not oversized. This ... great EXCEPT the petite is way too short-- it's like a capri and I'm only 5'2". I reordered the same size 6 in the regular and although the regular is too long/ I will have to hem, it's a perfect ... all other regards. I LOVE the fabric. It is thick which is why I think it's so flattering, and stretchy so veryyyy comfortable. I bought 2 so that I could reserve one for my "nice" outfit but still be able to have one to bum around in. BUY THIS ... but get the regular and not the petite. You won't regret. And don't worry about the "skinny leg" description as BELIEVE me I do not have skinny thighs and they ... great. Enjoy!

BR Loyalty
I continue to be a fan but have one complaint. In 1995 I was a perfect size 4 in your ... year I purchsed a pair of ... size 2 petite which I had to return for a size 0 petite. The only thing that has changed about my size is that I am 4 or 5 pounds lighter than I was in 1995. It troubles me that a company in such good standing would reinforce peoples denial of there size. Furthermore, if you increase the specs anymore I will no longer be able to purchase your products.

Do not underestimate these!
I am 5'3" 1/2 and wear an 8P. I find the 30" inseam perfect for heels AND flats. These look like ankle pants on the model because she is very tall, whereas on me, they fall perfectly. The rise is a little higher then I am used to but I found it very comfortable and flattering. The only issue I had was that the 8P was a little tight on my 29" waist so I am going to try a 10P. Perhaps if the waist was lower I wouldn't have this issue (hence the 4-star rating). Other than that, these hit my hips and legs wonderfully. They are not super skinny and more like inbetween straight and skinny pants. I LOVE THAT. I loose 10lbs when I wear these. Petite women look best in straight ... wish BR carried more straight ... These are wonderful. I think if you have similar measurements to mine you will be happy. BR; can you make these in other colors? Despite some bad reviews, these ... great for your petite customers!

Love these ... but BIG
I LOVE these ... They are very flattering. I like that they have a lot of structure and a slight sheen. They don't cling to every curve of the leg like a skinny legging or other straight ... do. I wear mine with a top that hits right around the hip with a large belt at the waist since I try to keep the focal point my waist and not my hips/but. They do run large. I usually take a 2 petite, but I had to go with the 0 petite on these.

Still too big!
I had ordered these in size 2 petite- they were huge and looked awful. Exchanged for a size 0petite .............[...] These still run really big........the waist is large, they are quite long for petite- I am tired of exchanging, so I will keep them and try to make them work. They are very nice ---iff they only ...

Flattering ...
Very flattering ... woman like me with short legs and small hips. The description says 'straight', but these ... have a fair amount of flare.

Versatile ...
Bought to wear with the jacket. Great with shirts, sweaters. Slim ... straight leg is lengthening for someone as ... length is too long for my 5 foot frame but could make do if not work attire.

My Martins from Bananna Republic
This was the first time I placed an online order with BR and I was very pleased with the service. I was pleased most of all that the Martin's ... black ... had ordered ... perfectly! As most of us know it can be very risky ordering clothes online and in my case 8 out of 10 times ... don't ... well. The ... beautifully made and and are true to size. I'll be doing a lot more shopping with Bananna Republic in the future!

These are great ... reason why I said ... were too small is because I had to go a size up in these and all the other ... tried on. I'm usually a size 6. I had to go up to a size 8 and ... were perfect. I don't know if it's just me or if everyone has to go up a size in the petites but that's what worked for me so if you order online be prepared.

... 718 ... sleek straight ...
I have a difficult time finding ... - I'm about 5'1'' and size 4. I ordered these ... size 2 ... because I find banana republic to run big. The size 2 are still a little too roomy, especially in the rear/thighs (areas where I am already curvy)! However, I didn't return them because the length is perfect and the ... look nice enough to wear to work.

Higher waisted ...
These ... typical ... (straight through the hip and waist) but they are a higher waist than normal and in my opinion, have much more room in the seat and upper thigh. If you are anywhere near 5'4 or are short waisted get a ... have the cuff taken out--the rise is PERFECT in ... seat is lifted. The pockets on the back give my bottom a more rounded perky appearance, but they do stretch a lot at the crotch--only the pair I have in 'regular' women's sizing does this.

Petit ...
I was looking for a good work ... liked this ... except for one issue. As a ... woman, I make it a rule to never wear cuffs. I even considered tailoring the ... remove the cuff but decided against it. I would buy this ... again in a second without the cuffs. Everything was really nice about the ... fabric quality, and color.

Stretch out in Hips and Rear & Wrinkles
These ... really stretch out, particularly in the rear big time! ... also get very wrinkled. I have to get them dry cleaned every time I wear them! If you're ... straight, with no curves, ... bag out in the hips and butt.
