Great ...
These ... awesome! I did have to exchange them for the next waist size down. The first pair was too baggy and dumpy but after going down a size, they fit great. They are a true boot cut. The BR Outlet as well as some others advertise ... boot cut but they fit more like a tapered leg pant. [...] BR customer service was very accommodating.

Boot Cut Chino
The boot cut chino is the most verstaile pant you'll own. I own every pair of the boot cut chino's offered by Banana Republic and is my preferred style of pant. These are a great fit for work or going out.

Nothing fancy = perfect
This was the work pant I'd been looking for. I'm into boot cut, comfortable fit, can match with anything. This delivered. My only slight knock is they hold a little wrinkle. But a couple of people cooler than I said that's in. Plus I work at the VA, so there aren't a lot of fashionistas judging me there. Do yourself a favor and skip the Dockers, this is the pant to get!

Great ...
I wear 31x30 in all BR ... jeans and slacks and these fit perfectly as advertised. I love the relaxed fit Dawson chinos but decided to give these ... shot for a different look and I'll definitely be buying more. They're like a slightly dressier version of the Dawson fit. A lot of reviews mentioned a leg opening that is too big but mine are the same as the Dawson, the only difference between the two ... thighs are cut slightly slimmer for a more classic look. These ... work great with my casual dress shoes and boots when you need something slightly cleaner looking than the relaxed Dawson pant and don't like the straight fit look of the Gavin ...

Great fit
I searched for a long time to find a pant that fits like these do. I purchased a couple pair of boot cut chinos at a Banana outlet store a few years back and they were the perfect fit. I had trouble finding any thing that came close to fitting like those. Banana has offered them again and I couldn't be happier. I like the little looser feel to the leg and the opening isn't too big, a true boot cut. Thank you BR for having these ... need a few more pair.

Nice Pant
I had been looking all over for a boot cut dress pant in the stores and couldn't find one. I saw these online and ordered two pair, I would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for the need to iron them after every washing. I know they aren't wrinkle free, but if they were they would be the perfect pant for me. They aren't horrible out of the dryer but there is still the need for a quick iron.

eh . . . inconsistent, but thats tupical of BR nowadays . . .
first off i have always been a fan of your bootcut chinos. always have a perfect fit. However, after buying two pairs in the same size, one fit, one did not. I understand how dyes etc can alter the siizing a little, but it shouldnt be THAT drastic. Lately this seems to be a reoccuring issue with BR, not only in these ... but across the board. One color fits, one doesnt. I still love these bootcut chinos, but what is the deal with the colors? How many of the same color do you need? charleston brown and moose brown? whatever happened to the navy or the stone, or the pinstriped from years past? its bad enough you didnt carry this style for over a year, but then to come back with basically three similar colors, and black?? personally, black should be for DRESS ... not this type of pant, unless its with pinstripes or [$] for those that work in the service industry and have to wear casual black ... Sorry BR but ive been waiting on additional colors and all i see are the same. Not sure what you guys have been doing but youre definitely helping Express gain business.

Not the best, but I didn''t send them back.
Overall a good pant, and probably the best on the mall store market. Pro's: Boot Cut, which is hard to find these days. The legs are just about perfect. Not too tight like skinny ... but not as baggy as loose fit. The legs are just about a regular cut with a good leg flair to eliminate the clown shoe look. I also liked the variety of colors available. On to the Con's: The rise, I felt, was a bit on the low side. I really have to pull 'em down to get the length I'm used to and to prevent the flooder look. If it were easier to exchange them as they don't carry the boot cuts locally, I would exchange them for the next longer size and have them hemmed if necessary. They can also get pretty wrinkly in the dryer, which, for my taste, requires a quick ironing.

Great Quality, Inappropriate Standard Length
No doubt, I have to say BR's ... best in quality that i've come across in the US. But, i have come to accept that the length size of the ... differ from the traditional standard sizes and it's therefore frustrating to get a perfect size that fits, especially for folks like me that prefer online shopping. BR should please adhere to traditional standard pant sizes. Note the non conformance here only applies to the length size of ... no issues with the waist though.

buyer beware! legs are too loose right now
The legs on the pant take boot cut to another level. They are simply too large and pretty much baggy ... ended up returning them. While the material and colors are nice, the shaping of the pant was just odd. It almost looked like a square when I removed it from the package. I would look at getting the Dawsons, even though those are a bit too loose for me too, but they look much better. These ... need of a drastic redesign from BR. I do NOT recommend these.

Attractive, conservative cut
I bought three suit separates- the Logan pant, the Jackson pant, and the suit jacket, and chose to keep the Jackson pant and return the Logan pant. The Jackson pant is a very standard cut, but well made, and fit as I thought it should, in a size 4 short (I am 118 lbs, 5'4"). The Logan pant was too loose at the waist/ hips, even though it was a more modern, slimming cut. The color is more of a dark navy/ gray, but I like the color very much.

Small girl finds great ...
The Martin fits best for me because I am 5'4", 110 with a full butt and small waist. I can't find ... any other store that have a small enough waist with ample room in the butt and still look professional. I wear the 00, I find the petites to be too small in the crotch depth and too short. Petites in BR are for seriously small people, if your shorter than 5'4" the petites would be a good hem length for you. Most ... other stores are too low cut. This is why I love the Martin ... they run smaller in thighs and waist but have ample room for a full butt and long crotch depth. I think they are most fitting for the petite curvy girl, If you have a small butt and straight lines try another style. Love Love Love the smaller fit its the only pant I can find that is small enough for me, unfortunately most companies vanity size there ... then it leaves us smaller people swimming, keep the smaller fit BR.

Nice ...
These run smaller than the "casual boot pant" perhaps because the fabric doesn't stretch. These ... look good - fancy, good. Enjoy!

Perfect black work ...
I just purchased these online to match the black suit jacket that I bought last April...I figured I might as well still buy them while I could to match (I already own the matching pencil skirt). The whole ... suit looks great! I love the suit with the skirt, but it's also great to have the versatility of a ... suit and knowing I can pair anything in my closet with the ... well makes it win win. I cannot understand all the sizing complaints - I've been wearing size 6 martins for YEARS so I ordered the same and they fit perfectly. Perhaps those of you who are finding you need to go up 1-2 sizes have actually gained weight. I can't see how this is BR's fault when I've never changed size in the ... my weight has been stable). High quality work pant for the office (highly recommend pairing with the blazer).

Great Suit ...
I had been wearing a size 10 in GAP jeans, however I ordered a 12 in this pant was very happy I did. They fit like 10's. However, they fit PERFECTLY! They are just the perfect length and they look totally chic! I loved them so much I bought another pair and then bought them in the grey too. If you typically order from BR, then order your typical size. If not, order a size larger than what you typically wear. These ... VERY WELL made. They are worth the price! They never wrinkle and they look very flattering. I would highly recommend them!

Absolute Essential
These ... hands down an essential for any professional wardrobe. The material is perfect for any season and doesn't wrinkle when I travel. After having ill fitting trousers for a couple of years -these are like a breath of fresh air! I'm 5'10" and the length is perfect for small heels. So glad to finally have the perfect black pant in my closet!

Great pant
Living on Kauai has many advantages, but shopping for clothes other than island wear, can be challenging. Ordering tailored ... online can also be challenging. But I couldn't have found a better fitting pant if I had been in the store. It is the perfect pant to dress up or down.

SPECTACULAR ...
I don't understand some of the reviews saying that because they ordered their regular size in this pant and it was small...that they are going to send them back and never buy them again. Seriously? Sure it might be a little blow to the ego, but let's be reasonable. It's the cut, style, and look of the ... matters, not the size. If this pant is too small or too short in your regular size and/or length, the solution is to order a size up or longer length and get them tailored to fit perfectly. I'm sorry, but the cut and style of this pant is spectacular. I, too, have a few pairs in 2 different sizes that fit the same ... but I could care less. Why?...Because they all look amazing and that's what matters, not the size tag on the inside of my ... That's why you have to try clothing on; it's not a new thing in any brand for ... same size to be smaller or looser than another pair. Plus, almost all quality high end garments require tailoring for a customized fit. For example, for me the regular length is too short and the tall length is too long (I have a 34.5in inseam), so I order the tall and get them hemmed to the exact length that I need; the result is perfection. I wouldn't give up on these ... if the size you order is off; exchange them for a different size... you'll be happy you did. Thanks again Banana Republic, keep up the great work with this pant... keep the cut and style the same...they are #1 in my book.

Sizing issues a pain!
I couldnt agree more regarding the all over the board sixing for what used to be my go to pant. It makes internet ordering particularly annoying:(

New Cut is Ill Fitting
What a disappointment. I have been buying a 6L in these ... years. I wear an 8 n almost every other brand. (5'9" about 145.) These were just small all over and I am going to have to return them. This is going to mean a trip to the store to try on all of the pant styles, so that I can figure out which one fits like the old cut. Of course, the ... store are all too short. I will say that when these fit they are great looking pant cut from a quality material.

strange sizing, tight waist for pant size
I tried these ... store in a size 4 and found them really flattering but a little on the tight side, since they didn't have a size 6 available to try on I decided to hold off and order both sizes online. the 4 that came was MUCH SMALLER than the one I'd tried on in the store, could barely zipper it. and the 6 fits but is also tight in the waist and fine everywhere else. note, I have actually lost some weight since the initial store visit. like many reviewers have said, there is no consistency with this product and it's very frustrating. They are also very long, definitely have to wear with 3" heels, and I am close to 5'7" so this was a bit unexpected. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep these, I like the material and style of the pant but they're not proportioned/sized as well as one would like for a suit pant.
