Great Fit
I'm pleased with the ... structure of these ... Overall, they appear more slim than previous versions of the Martin suit ... am happy with the higher waist and slimmer thigh. I am 5'7" 125 lbs.

Attractive, conservative cut
I bought three suit separates- the Logan pant, the Jackson pant, and the suit jacket, and chose to keep the Jackson pant and return the Logan pant. The Jackson pant is a very standard cut, but well made, and fit as I thought it should, in a size 4 short (I am 118 lbs, 5'4"). The Logan ... too loose at the waist/ hips, even though it was a more modern, slimming cut. The color is more of a dark navy/ gray, but I like the color very much.

Love the ... longer than the ones I tried in the store, belt loops are a bonus
I have a couple pairs of Martin ... first pair I will have to have altered to make about 3/4 inch shorter. I am 5'7" and have always been able to wear regular length BR ... off the rack. I tried these on in the store and they were perfect with a 2" heel, but these ones are just too long. I debated sending them back and seeing if they would send me a different pair that would maybe be the right length, but I'll just pay the $20 to get them altered instead (hate getting ... altered). They would have been 5 stars if I didn't have to alter them. I am a slim pear shaped gal and these ... great, and the lining makes the ... nice and sleek, no bumpy bulges on the behind. I got these with the blazer to wear as a ... one of the only suits I found that you can wear a standard belt with, which in turn, is what I attach my gun to. So, ladies who wear guns to work, I highly recommend a BR ...

Love the cut, wish they would bring the old fabric back.
I have 3 BR suits and they have held up great. Went to buy 1 for me and 1 for my sister this year and so disappointed in the fabric. The new fabric wrinkles much easier and collects lint like crazy. I had to return and now searching for a new brand. Would like to avoid that pain and BR bring better fabric back!!

strange sizing, tight waist for ... size
I tried these ... store in a size 4 and found them really flattering but a little on the tight side, since they didn't have a size 6 available to try on I decided to hold off and order both sizes online. the 4 that came was MUCH SMALLER than the one I'd tried on in the store, could barely zipper it. and the 6 fits but is also tight in the waist and fine everywhere else. note, I have actually lost some weight since the initial store visit. like many reviewers have said, there is no consistency with this product and it's very frustrating. They are also very long, definitely have to wear with 3" heels, and I am close to 5'7" so this was a bit unexpected. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep these, I like the material and style of the ... but they're not proportioned/sized as well as one would like for a suit ...

These were just awful.
I've owned 3 lightweight wool suits since 2005. They're the best suits. Over the years, the jackets have been fine but I've had to order new ... few times to have extra, or because they've worn out. They changed to a much cheaper wool, a rough texture lining and the ride is just awful. The "waist" goes well above my waist and the crotch is still very low. Awful.
