LOVE LOVE LOVE
I first bought my original bag two years ago. It was such a hit I have since bought two more in different colors, and another for my daughter to use as a diaper bag. I receive many compliments, especially on the cognac color. I have had to have straps repaired on two of the bags by a shoe maker, but honestly we pack a lot in these bags and they are heavy. Cannot wait to see new colors.

The Perfect Tote
I lug alot of stuff to work daily. Gym clothes, lunch, breakfast, snacks, shoes. You name it. I purchased the leather tote in the cognac color (which is awesome). WOW, looks expensive. Holds everything. Is it flimsy yes. But it's a tote. I love it. I had a 40% off coupon which even made the purchase more exciting! If your looking for a tote this is it. This bag definately doesn't have all the bells and whistles but, I'm happy!

Wonderful color..but
I've quite satisfied with my new bag! Beautiful yellow color and nice touch/feel. I like its general construction/quality as well. however, onething I disappointed is.. leather is too thin- much thiner than I expected. so, corners at opening ends are keep folding in and becomes funny looking.. seems that this yellow leather is thiner than brown one. Is this a reason you offered lower price than other color? >-<

I Purchased this Bag Over a Year Ago...
I purchased this bag over a year ago. I am so glad I stumbled on this website today because of a link from [@]. This bag has held up alot over the past year. I have carried makeup bag, huge bottles of lotion, books, water bottles, breakfast/lunch, shoes, etc. and the straps have not snapped off. However, the bag does is "floppy" or not very well structured. I absolutely Love the Cognac color and the size of the bag. My only complaints are the straps, "floppiness" and there is no lining. The straps kind of by the stitching look like they are getting chewed. And no I do not own a pet. I guess since I have had it over a year that I have gotten my monies worth but I like for my handbags/totes to last many, many years because they are expensive. I know this is not a designer bag but I do not like to waste my money.

Not much structure
I am looking for a new tote for work. I ordered the market tote online. I got it in the cognac color, which is beautiful. The leather feels very soft. I can't use it for work, though, because it has little to no structure. If I put anything relatively heavy in it (i.e. book or binder), the bottom of the bag droops really low and doesn't look right. I would recommend this bag only if you plan to carry light objects.

Torn
I love the look and size of this bag, but it is not sturdy enough for its size. I've already been through 2 of them in the last year and a half, both in the lovely cognac color.I used the bag as a work tote for files, and as a weekend bag. With regular use, (I'm not lugging around cinderblocks to work or anything) the straps will rip and come off and the seams will fail. I called my local BR store but they said they wouldn't give me a new one. I'd really love to go for my third, but I just can't justify the price at this point. BR quality is not up to par on this one.

Disappointed
I loved this tote and used it frequently as I commute to and from work via metro, however after only 2 months of normal wear, the handle snapped off today. The handles have a plastic tube that snapped. Poor construction choice for such a large bag. Should have been thicker handles more durably reinforced. Very rarely carried heavy books, never carried a laptop, just every day items. Sadly, will need to find a new, more durable bag.

I was so excited about this bag, but I ended up being very dissappointed. The bottom tore after two weeks and the strap broke after a month. I thought it would make a perfect work bag, but the leather is just too thin that it can't really hold any weight. And I am not talking about bowling ball weight, I am talking about everday personal items and maybe a pair of shoes. So, just keep that in mind if you are looking to use this as a large, all purpose bag; you simply can't.

Bags that are not what they seem
I ordered an oversize, black leather tote that I am returning. I did not like the finishing of the bag witih the pinking shear cutting at the top. The top should have been folded and finished with a double stiching. [...] I will keep the shoes I ordered as they fit well. Thank you for letting me comment.Carol
