An Awesome Classic
Great jeans, Great fit, Perfect Blue. I always know I can get a great pair of BR blue jeans and they will fit & look great. Good job guys and dont change these jeans!

I like these jeans.
I am really enjoying these jeans. I decided to write a review because these seemed to be getting some low marks. I do not see the dark color everywhere, and this is great for me. These look great for travel, work, or just wandering around. I have not experienced any care problems. I do think that BR likes the jeans a bit long and they are not forgiving in waist/rear/rise, but I could not say with any confidence that changes in these areas would be an improvement. I am wearing my usual 33/32 size. I would not hesitate to buy another pair, and I would be disappointed if these were gone.

Great Jeans
The jeans fit great. They are like $300 jeans for less than $100. They are a great color and have a super feel to them. I hope Banana keeps making jeans like this. Also the high waist rise fits well for sport guys like me.....

Love BR Straight Fit Jeans
This is my 3rd pair of BR straight fit jeans, got the dark wash color this time. These are my favorite jeans and the fit is perfect. I'm 6'4" and wear a 36x36 which is hard to find and even harder to find that fit well. Only wish I could buy my jeans in the stores but if you need a 36" length there's not a lot of choices out there.

First timer for straight fit jeans
I had not purchased anything but relaxed fit jeans from Banana Republic. Until these jeans that is. I found the fit to be surprisingly tighter for the same size jeans. I had expected a slight difference in fit, not something this dramatic (especially in the thighs). However, I really wanted dark wash as the "distressed look" seems to be getting old very quickly. Unfortunately normal dark wash jeans are not available in relaxed fit. Hey BR, please to a relaxed fit dark wash, perhaps in the Heritage line (and using premium denim). Dark wash seems a step up in style from the now tiresome distressed look.

Good Jeans
I wear jeans everyday to work. I have been looking for a couple of pairs of new jeans to wear that feel and look good. These jeans meet all of my requirements and I would recommend them to anyone. I did find that they ran a little longer than most BR jeans but nothing a quick trip to the taylor couldn't fix.

Great Denim
Great fit and style. These jeans have a slightly looser fit than other straight fit BR jeans, but I find myself wishing my other jeans fit more like these.

Nice Jeans, BUT!
Great jeans, great material, great color, great fit...as long as you order a size smaller. I actually had to get a 28/28 the 29/30 was too big in the waist and too long in length. A 28/28 fits perfect around the waist and the inseem is a little short, but fits the trend of the way jeans are cut these days. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs, with a lean build and the 28/28 was almost perfect. While I felt like I was SWIMMING in the 29/30's!

Sizing is totally off
Purchased a pair of these jeans on 11/8/12, size 31x30. Upon trying them on, I discovered that they were extremely baggy and loose. I laid them on top of another pair of BR straight jeans I purchased last year. The length was 1.5'' longer and the waist was more like a 32.

Gap quality at BR prices???
Waist size off by at least 2 inches. I bought these to replace some BR jeans I've had for nearly 7 years. The material quality on these new jeans feels almost as thin as paper. BR jeans used to be my go to brand for high quality and stylish clothing, but I'm not sure I will order from BR ever again.

way too long!
Definitely do not buy these jeans without trying them on. I ordered a 34x32, to replace an old pair of Banana Republic jeans. I just measured the inseam of the jeans; it's almost 34 inches instead of 32. I ordered these jeans specifically because I assumed they would fit like the old pair, so I wouldn't have a sizing problem. Because I live in Switzerland, it's prohibitively expensive to exchange the jeans. Very disappointing; I certainly will never order online from Banana Republic again.

These ... were on back order but worth the wait. I LOVE them. They fit perfect and my husband complimented me as soon as he saw them on. Very comfortable. I will be able to wear them to work and can dress them up or wear them as casual ... may need a second pair since I think they will get worn a lot!

Great comfy ...
The BR ... were true to size, fit my body great and are very comfortable. They are made from good quality denim and the stitching is well done. I have found the right ... me!!

Great ...
Have trouble finding ... more muscular legs with a thin waist and these are perfect. One of the best ... have every purchased I now have several pairs.

Classic Pair of ...
I bought these ... my bf, who recently lost a bit of weight. His old BR ... were sagging way low, so I surprised him with these to save everyone from his plumber's crack. He does need to go down one more size but the wash and style of these ... great.

BR is not the same as it used to be.
I have been a fan of BR ... many many years. This last ... arrived with a hole in it but I am not going to return it since it’s not worth the hassle. However what is really making me think twice before ordering online again is that there are big size differences between straight fit ... even size differences between ... same reference (same wash). Reading all the reviews I am not the only one who thinks this. Another thing is that the quality does not look as premium as it used to, they kind of look like their lower end ... gap. Another reason I did not return them was because I sent them to an international courier service from Visa in Miami that sends them to my home in South America, I know that BR has an international shipping service but the rates are very high.

Wrong Color Shown
I love BR ... can always rely on getting the right fit, however, these Indigo ... turned out to be just like the dark indingo ... already have. The color shown here is not the true color of the ... arrived at my door. Beware...

... TOO LONG BR should listen
I love the look and feel of the banana republic ... but never can buy any of them because they are way to long in lenght, I see alot of reviews here specifically about the ... being too long, Does BR ever read these reviews?

Way loose and long; WHAT HAPPENED TO BR SIZING/QUALITY??
BR ... were once the absolutely perfect ... I'm 5'6'' and wear a 30x30; for a few years now I've worn the Gap Standard Fit 30x30 as my casual/working outside ... BR Standard as my nicer casual/going out ... would buy one of each every 6 months or so online bc I wore them so frequently... Now both the Gap and BR versions of these ... 1-1.5" longer, AT LEAST 1"+ too loose in the waist, and the measured leg opening is at minimum .5" bigger. Why would they change a perfect ... true, perfect fit?? Now the quality is terrible, the color is misrepresented and way darker in reality, and the ... manufactured in like 20 different foreign countries, each one sizing them differently and using different materials. In short, BR has become exactly what Gap is, and both have plummeted in quality control and sizing. Also, the BR basic tee is now 2.5" longer in length, 1" longer in sleeve and looks like a poor Hanes quality shirt. Not buying from BR until they change things; until then, only Polo is reliable for quality/sizing.

Straight Fit ...
I have to admit I was a bit bummed about these ... Have a pair just like them at home that I bought in the store -- same cut, same size, same everything -- and these new ones were WAY smaller :( I love BR's ... but this was a disappointment. Hoping an in store exchange will save the day!

terrible fit - cut like women''s ...
I've been buying BR ... years and this is the worst pair I've ever got. I've gotten straight fit ... size (32/30) in the past and they've fit great, so I went ahead and bought another pair online assuming they would be similar. However, BR seems to have changed the cut on their straight fit ... year. They look like something women or hipsters would wear (this according to my girlfriend). FYI, if I wanted hipster ... would have bought slim fit, thank you very much. Anyway, the legs are too short, they are low rise on the hip (so low that I can slip out of them without unbuttoning them! I need to wear a belt to keep them on!), and they are much slimmer in the leg than prior versions of their straight fit ... Anyway, don't buy this online. Try it on in the store and see for yourself.

Great pair of jeans! Great fit!
These jeans are made of a soft denim. That means you should probably wash them infrequently and be prepared that they will not last forever, like rigid ... said, the softer denim feels a lot better, especially with the snugger fit of the vintage straight. These ... have faded areas (not exactly holes). The color is nice and fading is beautiful. However, be careful. The sizing on these ... inconsistent. I bought these in the store as well as online. I've found the in store ... fit differently, specifically more snuggly. So keep that in mind before buying. I recommend them to everyone!

Great ...
Fit great, look great. Tighter in the leg than the boot cut ... am used to, but they don't feel like tight ... Honestly, they feel as comfortable as my pajamas. I got these pants for work and going out, but I have found myself wanting to wear them just lounging around the house.

Great ...
These ... fit great, have a cool look and are very comfortable and soft. I really appreciate the ability to order size 35 waist online. These will be a favorite for years to come.

Great look, excellent fit
As soon as I tried these on I was like wow these are perfect ... the ankle size seems just right and they're a slightly slimmer 'straight' ... bit more modern of a look (but def not tight). I'm ~148lbs 5'10" and bought 31/30 in these, the 32/30 being too big. Keep in mind I never dry my ... wash cold so they dont shrink. The denim for these is a tad stiffer than your typical ... but the material looks good and will prob hold up longer than a cheaper pair. Along with being slightly slimmer than in the pic, the color is definitely darker and the gradients in the color (meaning the fake creases) are subtle and not obvious. Definitely really nice ... - great for going out or for work imo.

The Perfect Pair of ...
Rarely do I find a pair of ... fits to the T, and rarely do I review clothes. I am doing both so this MUST be the best pair of ... i've owned :) You cannot go wrong with this.

Vanity Sizing Gone Amuck
I bought 2 pairs of these Vintage Slim BR ... One is a distressed black color (Made in China) and the other is a black formal pair (Made in Mexico) Here are my observations: 1. The distressed black (China) is of a higher quality material than the formal black one (Mexico). The formal black ... fabric is like yarn, and it piles up. Basically small tufts form on those ... 2. Another observation: If you measure yourself in accordance to BR's sizing guide, [*] They use VANITY SIZING. Therefore, I measured myself to be 35" at the waist, and I"m an inshape slim guy. I wear, however, 31"!

Nice ... my husband!
I bought these ... my husband. He's 6'4", 185. We got the ... 32W 34L. They are a great color and cut. It's nice to see him in a ... isn't too bootcut, and the length is spot on for his height. I'd say the waist is a smidge tight along with the rise. I'd say in general it doesn't leave a lot of room in the.....waist/crotch region. But it certainly isn't TOO tight. If you like fitted ... these will work for you...but if you want a little more room in general you might want to locate a different pair. Accents the rear nicely :-)

Almost Perfect
I really like these ... which is saying a lot since I usually prefer designer brands. They look great and definitely are more fitted than in the photograph, but not tight. This is good because they will still fall over the top of your shoes unlike skinny ... love the color/wash--my only problem is that some of the threading doesn't look too good and I'm not sure if it will hold up. It is frayed in a couple of places. Overall, the perfect ... almost any occasion.

Fit okay, a little long, too much distressing
These ... size 31-34 fit pretty well, though the legs were definitely an inch or two longer than expected. Overall an okay fit, but not happy with the holes already made around the top of the ... due to distressing. Returned to store.

Nice ... Maybe Not for the Office
These are the usual ... we order, but we my husband lost some weight recently and we needed some new ... correct size. He prefers straight ... dark finish. These fit fine in the waist, rear, and length, so we're keeping them. But the finish on these doesn't lend itself to some work situations. We live in the PNW, and my husband has his own firm so he can wear what he likes. But the more distressed finish (pockets have 'wear' holes on each side that you can see on the model if you zoom in and there is some fading on each leg) isn't something he'd wear when he's meeting clients.

Quality took a nosedive
BR quality has plummeted in the past 5 years or so. The material of these ... so thin, I doubt they would have lasted more than a few months of wearing, if that. I returned them and will have to look elsewhere for ... future.
