Great ... -- Tailored Fit is the way to go
So if you read my other reviews, you know I've complained about the size (girth) of the jackets. This tailored fit is trim -- not too big, not too tight. The navy is a lighter color, definitely looks blue in certain light, not like the dark navy which can look black. Also, the ... slight long. I'm always caught between a (BR sizing) regular and a short. Of course, the short looks like my little brother's ... jackets, too long is better than too short. Great ... overall. Pants are fine as well.

Banana Suits Rock
This ... perfectly tailored, looks amazing, and is extremely versatile. Whether going into the office, or out on the town, I know I'm rockn' it.

BR finally got the fit right
IF you've read my previous reviews, you know I've complained about the length of most of the their jackets. I get it. BR needs to mass produce these jackets and it's better for the jackets to be too long than too short. Well, looks like my wishes have been answered. The length and the sleeves on this ... perfect. For the first time, I don't think I need to get these altered. Great fit! Great navy color! Keep up the good work BR!

First ... I''ve found that fiits people who are fit
I typically have difficulty being fitted in suits. Prior to the days when separates were offered, a 50-Long ... came with a 44 waist pant. Then came the athletic cut, which offered an 8-inch drop, so it came with a 42 waist. I had a 16 inch drop which meant I needed a 50-Long ... 34 pant. Then separates began being offered, first Brooks Brothers, then Jos A Bank, then department stores but even though I could purchase the pants separately the 50 Long ... still made for someone with a 40-something waist... the ... just couldn't be taken in enough. I offer all of that history to say that the tailored ... recently purchased fit exceptionally well and it will need little to no alterations. It is not offered in a 50-Long so I went with a 48-Long (I don't work out quite as much as I used to but I'm still about 220 lbs and the 48-Long actually fit pretty well). I'm 6'3" and the sleeve length was perfect. The material was extremely light weight, which may not be QUITE as appealing to some, for me it allows me to be able to wear it year round. The narrower lapels made it current. Overall, I was very pleased with it.

Just perfect
Ordered this ... because it was the only "tailored look ... available and because I needed to add a navy blue ... my wardrobe. When I received the ... quickly tried it on for fit and not to my surprise the fit was just perfect. Everything from the ... fits as it should and the matching pants have the perfect fit also. My only quarrel about this ... seam where the arm meets the shoulder you could see a very light blue thread that was used to attach these two together. That should not happen, especially given the price of the ... Also my other concern was the way the pieces where shipped. It is a suite, it should not have been just thrown in a small box. To my surprise it did not arrived wrinkled. I guess they just do it to prove that it really holds well against wrinkles. I would definitely recommend this to others and if they come out with the same ... black I would definitely get one too.

Packed poorly
The ... great, but you would think that when one drops [$] on a ... would be packed properly rather than just thrown into a tiny box, folded and creased in every which way. The ... result came wrinkled and in pretty bad shape. I'll have to get it ironed before wearing. Seriously, though, Banana Republic -- there has to be a better way to ship suits.

Not impressed
My husband already has a ... BR that he bought 18 months ago for a wedding that looks great and fits perfectly -- so we ordered this one in three colors for work, expecting a similar result. Instead, the fit of this was not as good and we were very disappointed at the quality of the fabric -- it [*]doesn't compare to some suits we just bought him at [@] for much less. All BR suits are clearly not the same so be aware of that when you're ordering! We sent them all back.

Don''t buy this ... material looks cheap and stretches like panty holes.
I am a big fan of Banana Suits. I own about 15 of them. I wanted this one because I needed a new solid Navy ... have never bought a ... Banana Republic before and returned it until I purchased this one. The material looked very cheap and stretched like a pair of Spandex. Even though it fitted me fine it looked like it would wrinkle very easy and looked cheap. Save your time and buy another ... just received the Mad Men ... looks great!
