Men''s New ... I purchased these ... my son in-law for Christmas based on the description of ... picture alone, knowing his build, etc. -- he had never tried them on previously. They ... perfectly and look great! They have a ... but stylish cut, suiting his build perfectly, and are extremely comfortable. These ... very versatile addition to his wardrobe. I am so happy with this purchase!
Big and Tall reviewI'm on the edge of 6'5" and weigh 215 so I have to do online shopping for clothes. It's a mess because nothing ever fits - flat front ... never worked. The flat front ... Dawson chino, however, fits. I'm between a 35 and 36 inch waist and the 35 worked. The 36L inseam is a perfect ... Most importantly, the crotch is NOT obscene and they ... through the thigh. They are "dressier" than other chinos in that they have the slide/hook button instead of the traditional button. I purchased two colors: acorn and khaki and they are both true fits. For other Big and Tall purchases, ... fits work with Banana Republic. I'm just thankful I don't have to wear PLEATS anymore!
Not enought ... pants available Very difficult to find a ... chino now a days. This pant is great, but doesn't seem to be in stock much and only a couple of colors in the store. It would be great if there was an email alert letting me know 34W / 32 L Gray pants were finally in. Lets hope they come out with more fall styles in ... because some of us don't like a tight ... seems to be all the rage to show off chicken legs on guys.
Comfortable Dawsons!My son would only wear blue jeans until he discovered the Dawson ... chinos, now he rarely wears jeans. The Dawsons are so comfortable for him and have an excellent range of shades available. I noticed, however, with the last two pair purchased that the cut has changed. The legs are wider and perhaps the overall ... more ... but not to the point of looking sloppy or "bell bottomish" as other reviewers have indicated. The quality of these ... have been consistently good and they hold up quite well over time.

These Chinos are made of a nice high quality fabric,but they are NOT "relaxed" by any stretch of the imagination. - In fact they are tighter than my old straight leg Levis that I wore in high school. I'm a fairly skinny guy, 29-30in waist 33in inseam, but the two pairs of chinos I purchased with 31in waist and 34in inseam were far too snug to be called relaxed. I don't know if the manufacturer put wrong labels on the chinos or the Banana Republic has a really warped sense of the term "relaxed" but I will be sending this chinos back ASAP.
Old ones are betterI put on an 'old' pair of banana ... morning for work and was blown away by the difference. Even at 4+ years old, these ... still look and feel great and have remained the correct length. I have a pair each of the new ... straight ... Both of them have shrunk so badly that they're nearly unwearable. All have been cared for just as the older pair. The newer versions feel 'cheaper' to me, as well. Unfortunately, I feel as if I need to find a new store to buy ...
