Great buy!I bought this ... my boyfriend and he loves it! He had a pair of black loafers, same design and used it for 3 yrs. until it was time for this new one...he was so happy! :)
Comfortable Stylish ... The "Gibson Driving ... recently purchased has really amazed me. It is very comfortable and has tremendous style. I'm truly impressed by the quality. I find myself wearing these loafers, everywhere. I usually wear my loafers with some khaki shorts and a nice short sleeve shirt, on the Las Vegas strip and out at the beaches in San Diego. I often get compliments about the loafers and have had many friends purchase the loafers and many other items at Banana Republic because they have taken notice the outstanding look and the quality of the clothing. Perfect fit, exquisite look, and great value! 100% Satisfied
My brother has been searching for a pair of comfortable loafers for a very long time. He went to the store to try them on and was very please with the fit and they were very comfortable. He immediately called me and asked me to place an order online as the store didn't have his size. He was so please with the shoes that he wears them almost everyday when he drives, especially with his casual wear.

He tells me that the loafers are comfortable, they are true to size, and stylish for both work and play. While he does much walking in the loafers, he finds that it massages the soles of his feet.
Great LoafersThese loafers are great. They do run a full size large as some have said. I am normally an 11.5 and had to get a 10.5 (I tried on both an 11.5 and an 11). Some people have said they run only a half size large, but it's a full size. Aside from that, they're great if you get a pair that fits.
Not an "old man" shoeI have been wanting a pair of loafers for a while and scored on these great looking ones from Banana. All of the others I try on seem to look like something my dad would wear. Comfortable and stylish.
Gibson driving ... I bought these shoes to wear on days that didn't require dressing up for work but when I still needed to look well dressed and put together. At first I wasn't a fan of the driving ... but really needed something that could be more casual then my oxfords and dress loafers. Now I couldn't be more pleased with the versatility of this shoe. It looks great with chinos and their dressier cousin the dress chino. It looks great with straight leg denim too. Also during summer it looks great with more tailored looking shorts. I think a tip for those who want it, is to wear these with the ... type liner sock so that you don't see the sock at all. Of course this is a personal preference and some guys will wear them without socks but I can't endorse that...

They are wonderful for slipping on real quick before stepping out for dinner or going out for the night, but I wouldn't recommend walking too far in them as the sole is pretty flat and not all that stable.

Comfortable shoeMy husband loves his Turnstyle loafers. He has several BR shoes and loves them all. As a matter of fact, 90 percent of his wardrobe is BR. Keep up the good work!
Hubby Loves ShoesI had been looking for some brown slip on loafers for my husband, who normally wears Bruno Magli and Cole Haan. No luck w/ those 2 brands, so I bought these w/ a 40% off deal and I'm glad to report that my husband LOVES them. They are very comfortable and can be easily dressed up or down. When I took them out of the box, they looked HUGE, so I ordered an half size and full size down, just in case. He tried on his normal size, the ones that I originally ordered, and they fit fine. Even after wearing them for a few weeks now, they are still a perfect fit, so I'd say go w/ your regular size in these.
loafers that you need to have in your arsenalFirst pair of BR shoes bought and I have to say that I'm impressed. I was looking for shoes that could go with dress clothes and night in the town wear (darker jeans) and these shoes definitely fit the bill. They are dark enough brown that you can easily wear them with navy and gray pants and yet not dark enough to pass off as brown/mahogony colored shoes. Also, I was looking for shoes that had a toe box look to it rather than the sharp toe ones. Although these shoes do not exactly have a toe box, they still have that semblance and it appears to work very well. In terms of comfort, these shoes did not require any breaking in-time at all which is probably due to the soft leather. I usually wear them for 8+ hrs each day and have not had any issues yet with soreness or fatigued feet. One piece of note, I'm not sure it's just my shoes or not but i noticed that at the area of the arch of my feet, these shoes have an exaggerated arch support, meaning that it curves up into my arches. Doesn't really bother me, but I notice them when I stand in one place. As for size and fit, since these were loafers, I bought them 1/2 a size smaller to have a better fit and it appears to be a good call. Overall, an excellent brown dress/night out shoes that most likely will persuade me to get the black version.
