Great T!I bought four of these for my husband for father's day and he absolutely loves them. He is not super tall (6'2'' 200lbs) but i decided to get the "tall" because he always complains about t shirts being too short. I got him an XL tall and the fit is perfect. Just fitted enough without being too tight. They truly are super soft, i am thinking of getting him some more colors. Very pleased with my purchase!
soft ... v neck tee Soft ... tee feels comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin. Fabric is lightweight and the shape is slightly fitted so it doesn't drape across the midsection. A nice selection of subtle color hues to go with dress casual attire. Used as a layering piece or worn alone this tee is a necessary addition to my wardrobe.
Great lookI guess you can say I was looking for the latest vogue in a ... fitted and looked good. And it is. It's a great summery ... packs a lot sex appeal. Love wearing it with a pair of sunglasses and sandals. Definitely for casual wear.

Really soft and a great fitI'm 6'7" and 235lbs and love Banana Republic shirts because the tall sizes always fit great. I bought a bunch on these in Tall XL and they fit great. Shirts are super soft too and i love them.
NicePicked up the jade and wisteria blue colored v necks. They are fitted tees. Compared to last year's 'fitted v neck tees', the v neck this year is deeper than last year. The cotton does have a softer feel to it. Great colors. Just need to decide whether I'm going to keep the deeper v necks. Perhaps try the tri blend v neck for a shorter v neck ?

Returning mail order shirts and exchanging them for the "same" size and color ... found in the store has led to finding the perfect fit, but it may take a couple of tries.
Where''s the fitted veeI was told that the "Soft ... cotton v neck tee" replaced the "Fitted vee". So the cut is the same but the fabric changed. I hate the softer, fluffier fabric. It's too warm in summer by itself and for layering it gets too hot under a ... sweater. The original fitted vee fabric was perfect: thin and lightweight. The problem of course was durability, after a few washes there'd be holes...but so comfortable! BRING BACK THE FITED VEE.
Stop messing with the cutLast season BR gave a fitted v neck that fit me perfectly: slim body, neckline that's not too low, sleeves of the perfect length. No idea why they chose to change the fit this year. Now the tee is too loose in the shoulders and chest, the v neck uncomfortably low, and the sleeves too long. The reinforcement around the collar has also gotten thinner, which could only mean that it'll lose its shape before the fourth or fifth ... Yes the soft washed cotton felt luxurious and I appreciated the range of colors, but I wished BR would decide on a fit already and reproduce it rather than keep altering it every season.
Threading comes looseI bought a few of these shirts on sale a couple months ago and already the threading on the sleeves and bottom of the ... have come undone. I would not recommend paying full price for these shirts.

The material is a bit thicker than the old fitted crews i think, but not so thick that it doesnt drape well. The collar holds its shape pretty well (so far). Soft and thinThese shirts are light weight and soft. The sleeve is shorter as I expected from the other reviews. If you have issues with showing off your upper arms, this ... not for you. I ordered the Pima Cotton ... earlier and it is a great ... but is heavier weight than this one. this is a great summer ...
What happened to the fitted Ts?These shirts don't hold their shape very well, like other reviewers have pointed out. They also fit like a cheap T ... happened to the excellent BR fitted Ts?

Super Soft TeeBought this tee for my husband for weekends. After reading the other reviews I ordered up a size being that is is fitted. The material is fantastic and so soft. Color is great too.

Pretty good, but...I bought two of these ... one in coal and one in new fez. Both were mediums, but the new fez was significantly more snug than the coal. Coal fit great, new fez was ridiculously tight. Not sure if it's a defect with the sizing of the new fez, or what. It's a shame because this is a nice ... best color.

Really soft and a great fitI'm 6'7" and 235lbs and love Banana Republic shirts because the tall sizes always fit great. I bought a bunch on these in Tall XL and they fit great. Shirts are super soft too and i love them.
NicePicked up the jade and wisteria blue colored v necks. They are fitted tees. Compared to last year's 'fitted v neck tees', the v neck this year is deeper than last year. The cotton does have a softer feel to it. Great colors. Just need to decide whether I'm going to keep the deeper v necks. Perhaps try the tri blend v neck for a shorter v neck ?
Sizing VariesThese shirts have extreme variance in size. I've purchased 5 larges, and found three distinct fits among them. They are incredibly soft shirts, and when they fit right they are my favorite shirts ever, but be ready to return them. Returning mail order shirts and exchanging them for the "same" size and color ... found in the store has led to finding the perfect fit, but it may take a couple of tries.
Where''s the fitted veeI was told that the "Soft ... cotton v neck tee" replaced the "Fitted vee". So the cut is the same but the fabric changed. I hate the softer, fluffier fabric. It's too warm in summer by itself and for layering it gets too hot under a ... sweater. The original fitted vee fabric was perfect: thin and lightweight. The problem of course was durability, after a few washes there'd be holes...but so comfortable! BRING BACK THE FITED VEE.

No idea why they chose to change the fit this year. Now the tee is too loose in the shoulders and chest, the v neck uncomfortably low, and the sleeves too long. The reinforcement around the collar has also gotten thinner, which could only mean that it'll lose its shape before the fourth or fifth ... Yes the soft washed cotton felt luxurious and I appreciated the range of colors, but I wished BR would decide on a fit already and reproduce it rather than keep altering it every season.
Threading comes looseI bought a few of these shirts on sale a couple months ago and already the threading on the sleeves and bottom of the ... have come undone. I would not recommend paying full price for these shirts.

Great T!I bought four of these for my husband for father's day and he absolutely loves them. He is not super tall (6'2'' 200lbs) but i decided to get the "tall" because he always complains about t shirts being too short. I got him an XL tall and the fit is perfect. Just fitted enough without being too tight. They truly are super soft, i am thinking of getting him some more colors. Very pleased with my purchase!
