The favorite!!!I purchased shirts for my husband. The material is wonderful, soft, nice feel. He was really pleased with. These are the kind of ... never want to take off. True to size and comfortable.

greatExcellent slim fitting t- slimmer than the usual br ... may or not work for you, depending on your body type, but i found that this fit me quite well. The material is a bit thicker than the old fitted crews i think, but not so thick that it doesnt drape well. The collar holds its shape pretty well (so far). Good ... money My husband loves these ... casual occassions when he wants to look nice. They are comfortable and fit well. My only complaint is that they wrinkle in the laundry a bit and the bottom needs to be ironed to lie flat.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to switch to another brand that provides fitted, slim fit t shirts.
Great ... Bad Service I ordered L shirts and XL shirts were mailed. I tried to exchange them at the local BR, but they refused to exchange them b/c online is a "different" company. Great ... but not worth the hassle of the incorrect sizes and the inability of store sales reps to help.
Noticeable drop in qualityThe BR basic cotton T has been my go to t ... 5 years and I have always been impressed until now. I am what most people would describe as lanky, so typically sized t ... either too short or too big in the body. Therefore, when I found the tall sized BR t ... stuck with it. I've owned approximately 30 of these ... because I wear them daily. I've always found them to be of exceptional quality, comfort, and fit. So, when I needed more back in November, I thought nothing of it and ordered 6. What I received was very different than the previous ones. This batch is about 1 1/2 inches shorter than before and the colors out of the bag were not as vibrant. After five months of owning these, I am sad to say that they have held up poorly: faded, torn holes in the washer, and they pick up stains much more readily. This is very different than my past experiences. It is apparent that BR has either switched suppliers or cuts some corners. I sent an email to customer support inquiring about any change, and I have received no response in the past month. It's unfortunate because these were the best. Luckily I have found a replacement brand in tall sizes that are as good and fit well for tall people. I won't outright say the brand, but their initials are the same as "Easter Bunny."

greatExcellent slim fitting t- slimmer than the usual br ... may or not work for you, depending on your body type, but i found that this fit me quite well. The material is a bit thicker than the old fitted crews i think, but not so thick that it doesnt drape well. The collar holds its shape pretty well (so far). I hope they keep this ... around for a while.
Good ... money My husband loves these ... casual occassions when he wants to look nice. They are comfortable and fit well. My only complaint is that they wrinkle in the laundry a bit and the bottom needs to be ironed to lie flat.
I buy the fitted tall tees for my son who is 6'4 and lean. They fit him very well and give him the additional length he needs without looking too big. He loves them! I just wish they came out of the dryer a little less wrinkly. Not bad though.

Unlike past years' shirts, the current cuts are not as fitted as they used to be, and thus look baggy like any generic t ... Great ... Bad Service I ordered L shirts and XL shirts were mailed. I tried to exchange them at the local BR, but they refused to exchange them b/c online is a "different" company. Great ... but not worth the hassle of the incorrect sizes and the inability of store sales reps to help.
Noticeable drop in qualityThe BR basic cotton T has been my go to t ... 5 years and I have always been impressed until now. I am what most people would describe as lanky, so typically sized t ... either too short or too big in the body. Therefore, when I found the tall sized BR t ... stuck with it. I've owned approximately 30 of these ... because I wear them daily. I've always found them to be of exceptional quality, comfort, and fit. So, when I needed more back in November, I thought nothing of it and ordered 6. What I received was very different than the previous ones. This batch is about 1 1/2 inches shorter than before and the colors out of the bag were not as vibrant. After five months of owning these, I am sad to say that they have held up poorly: faded, torn holes in the washer, and they pick up stains much more readily. This is very different than my past experiences. It is apparent that BR has either switched suppliers or cuts some corners. I sent an email to customer support inquiring about any change, and I have received no response in the past month. It's unfortunate because these were the best. Luckily I have found a replacement brand in tall sizes that are as good and fit well for tall people. I won't outright say the brand, but their initials are the same as "Easter Bunny."

Super soft and supple, yet holds up well in make and color to repeated washing and drying. My search for the perfect, plain V neck T ... over, however, BR really needs to come up with some more wearable colors AND produce more of the colors that actually sell, like white and olive green, both of which are still unavailable in my size. How about a dark "red wine" color, or some moree earth tones...............ditch most of the pastel please.

SORRY REPLACEMENT OF THE FITTED VEEI have a bunch of the older Fitted Vee t shirts and love them. They didn't hold up too well, but other than that they were nice...perfect fit. The length is noticably longer, and if you prefer wearing them untucked like I do they are too long. greatExcellent slim fitting t- slimmer than the usual br ... may or not work for you, depending on your body type, but i found that this fit me quite well. The material is a bit thicker than the old fitted crews i think, but not so thick that it doesnt drape well. The collar holds its shape pretty well (so far). I hope they keep this ... around for a while.
Good ... money My husband loves these ... casual occassions when he wants to look nice. They are comfortable and fit well. My only complaint is that they wrinkle in the laundry a bit and the bottom needs to be ironed to lie flat.
I buy the fitted tall tees for my son who is 6'4 and lean. They fit him very well and give him the additional length he needs without looking too big. He loves them! I just wish they came out of the dryer a little less wrinkly. Not bad though.
Soft, but too bigThese shirts are very soft to the touch, but I buy BR shirts because of their fitted, slim fit cuts. Unlike past years' shirts, the current cuts are not as fitted as they used to be, and thus look baggy like any generic t ... Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to switch to another brand that provides fitted, slim fit t shirts.
Great ... Bad Service I ordered L shirts and XL shirts were mailed. I tried to exchange them at the local BR, but they refused to exchange them b/c online is a "different" company. Great ... but not worth the hassle of the incorrect sizes and the inability of store sales reps to help.
Noticeable drop in qualityThe BR basic cotton T has been my go to t ... 5 years and I have always been impressed until now. I am what most people would describe as lanky, so typically sized t ... either too short or too big in the body. Therefore, when I found the tall sized BR t ... stuck with it. I've owned approximately 30 of these ... because I wear them daily. I've always found them to be of exceptional quality, comfort, and fit. So, when I needed more back in November, I thought nothing of it and ordered 6. What I received was very different than the previous ones. This batch is about 1 1/2 inches shorter than before and the colors out of the bag were not as vibrant. After five months of owning these, I am sad to say that they have held up poorly: faded, torn holes in the washer, and they pick up stains much more readily. This is very different than my past experiences. It is apparent that BR has either switched suppliers or cuts some corners. I sent an email to customer support inquiring about any change, and I have received no response in the past month. It's unfortunate because these were the best. Luckily I have found a replacement brand in tall sizes that are as good and fit well for tall people. I won't outright say the brand, but their initials are the same as "Easter Bunny."
pretty cool tee....for me to [*] on.These t shirts are worthless. Cheap, thin, fit horribly. I had been buying multiples of BR's fitted tees for years. About 10 every year for the last five or so years, but BR, in their infinite wisdom, decided to fix something that wasn't broken and did away with them. Now we have this poor substitute. Guess what Banana Republic? I'm buying all my tees from [@] from now on, and encourage anyone reading this to do the same. And BR, you can get [*]. [@] 50/50 tees are pretty comparable to the fitted tees, and MADE IN AMERICA. AMERICA!! [*] YEAH!!
Cheap ... shirts These ... shirts are terrible. The fabric is so thin you can see chest hair through it. You can see nipples through it. You can see the print on the inside (back) of ... Shirts through the ... can see the name of the brand through the back of the ... Very dissappointing. Very poor quality fabric. This is not in any way, a "Classic" ... am trying to give them away. Best. T ... Ever. I buy these for my husband and he now has them in every color. They're great alone or for layering under dress shirts, sweaters, whatever. These shirts are so comfortable, the fabric soft, no scratchy tags, and they're cut really well. They're so cozy, I borrow them sometimes. We both LOVE these t shirts.

A nice selection of subtle color hues to go with dress casual attire. Used as a layering piece or worn alone this ... necessary addition to my wardrobe.
Super Comfortable, Soft yellow VI love the soft wash shirts by BR. I've accumulated about six over the last ten months. This banana yellow v neck is a soothing shade without being too bright. It looks good by itself or layered under some type of white and blue button up ... same exceptional quality as those from last spring/summer. I always buy a size small in BR's dress shirts and sweaters, but always buy a medium size in BR's t shirts. Hope this review helps. Cheers!

Great v neck t ... am 5'5", 170, athletic build, with shoulders a little wider than the average 5'5 guy.....I have maybe a 40-42" chest and a Medium fits me perfect.......tight enough to be fitted, but not like spandex........the "V" is not too deep, it is slighly tapered for a flattering fit, as well as being slightly shorter than you average T ... one of the sure fire signs of a quality T ... Super soft and supple, yet holds up well in make and color to repeated washing and drying. My search for the perfect, plain V neck T ... over, however, BR really needs to come up with some more wearable colors AND produce more of the colors that actually sell, like white and olive green, both of which are still unavailable in my size. How about a dark "red wine" color, or some moree earth tones...............ditch most of the pastel please.

NicePicked up the jade and wisteria blue colored v necks. They are fitted tees. Compared to last year's 'fitted v neck tees', the v neck this year is deeper than last year. The cotton does have a softer feel to it. Great colors. Just need to decide whether I'm going to keep the deeper v necks. Perhaps try the tri blend v neck for a shorter v neck ?
Where''s the fitted veeI was told that the "Soft wash cotton v neck tee" replaced the "Fitted vee". So the cut is the same but the fabric changed. I hate the softer, fluffier fabric. It's too warm in summer by itself and for layering it gets too hot under a ... sweater. The original fitted vee fabric was perfect: thin and lightweight. The problem of course was durability, after a few washes there'd be holes...but so comfortable! BRING BACK THE FITED VEE.
bring back the fitted vee teesIm in a hurry but ill get right to the point I have never bought a vee neck until 2010 and probably wont again,not unless the fitted vee is brounght back.That style was so unique and nobody else had that stye that was such a signature BR item.I can get the regular V style everywhere and anywhere.The fact that Im writing this review speaks volumes about the passion I have for that style.I have never written a review before.(I need to take a refresher course for writing 101:Its great when you can wear something that makes you stand out from the pack.The regular Vees are like a tired and cliche tattoo.Feel free to write me a review of my review!
SORRY REPLACEMENT OF THE FITTED VEEI have a bunch of the older Fitted Vee t shirts and love them. They didn't hold up too well, but other than that they were nice...perfect fit. The newer 'Soft Wash Cotton V Neck Tee' is a sorry replacement. The v neck is cut deeper, too deep for my liking. The length is noticably longer, and if you prefer wearing them untucked like I do they are too long. Plus the material is too thin, and I cant see them holding up any better than the older 'Fitted Vee'. I am returning these.
