This is my favorite ... I'm 5' 8" tall, 160 pounds, medium build. Most standard dress shirts puff out in the back. This is a perfect ... no tailoring. The texture also gives it a sharp, quality look, that's not quite so formal looking as a standard dress ... looks like you forgot to wear your cheap suite. The only ... find better than this is Hugo Boss black label that goes for about $350. For the price, nothing beats this for a business casual office ... medium sized people.

Express Fitted Stretch shirts now (very ... 3) If you want the shirts to look pressed, make sure they are hung up IMMEDIATELY (while they are still warm) out of the dryer and allowed to hang on a solid hanger (to preserve the silhoette of the ... buttoned, overnight. The next morning, there will be no visible wrinkles, and clear, defined press lines on the sleeves... 4) SUMMARY: These are great shirts for guys that have a v taper body shape.

They are usually too long, the sleeves are too long, the neck is too wide, or the shoulders are too wide. This ... BR in size XS was perfect in all dimensions, except for length. It's still a little too long, but I tuck in the ... into my dress pants, so it doesn't really matter that much. As far as quality goes, this ... well worth the money! After several washes, the ... still looks brand new and I still have not needed to iron the ... after drying (I make sure I take it immediately out of the dryer and hang it up). The style works perfectly for every occasion and looks good with dress pants and jeans. Overall, I couldn't be happier and definitely recommend this ...

If you want that, go with the stretch ... which is slimmer than this non iron ... said, I felt I wanted to update my reviews because BR came out with new colors. The new shirts are exactly the same size as their previous version. Why does this matter? Well, because sometimes when updated colors come out, the sizing changes. Well, I can say that the sizes are as they were when the first non iron ... came out. I have all the colors except for strawberry and orange. I don't think those colors go well with my skin tone. The navy ... actually looks better in person. Because the ... has a textured design, the navy color looks a little weird on the computer. However, in person, it looks like a sharp evening ... going out.

First off, here are my physical specs, because it's good to know how to digest a reviewer's comments, and may help other dudes who have a similar build to identify with how a ... may ... them. At the least, it's a helpful reference, and gives a sense of scale. My specs: 6-1 tall, athletic build (32-inch waist, 41-inch chest, developed arms and shoulders, no beer gut). My usual clothing measurements for dress and most casual shirts: - Neck: 16.5-inch neck. - Arms: 34-35-inch. My husband needs an 18" neck, but in most dress shirts, the body is way too voluminous. The only way to get him a better ... than this ... would be to have custom shirts made. And not having to iron is another plus. The only thing that would make this ... better would be if it came in more colors.

This is nice looking and good quality ... reasonably priced. But the ... cut isn't nearly as slimming as I'd hoped for. I'm 6'0" tall and weigh 155 pounds. I have a 38" chest and 30" waist and this ... big on me. So I had to return it. It appears that Calvin Klein x ... dress shirts are the only truly ... shirts out there without further tailoring.
Wish it was slimmer and heavier
Overall this a good dress ... but I was hoping the material would be a bit thicker and that the cut would be a little slimmer. As others have mentioned, this ... not as ... stretch cotton shirts and BR ... shirts in general don't seem as trim as other stores. It would be nice if BR offered size options for neck and sleeves on their dress shirts.
... loose ... rough fabric, not really non iron
I was disappointed when I received this ... BR's products have become a lot worse in the quality department, especially as more and more manufacturing moves to China. The fabric is rough. It isn't necessarily non iron and wrinkles very easily, negating the convenience factor. The ... size M used to be slimmer and collar was tighter. The waist is not very fitted at all and the collar is nearly 16.25" now, up from 15.75-16" on previous shirts. I used to take a tall since the sleeve used to be 1" shorter, too. Regular length sleeves are now 35" (which is OK because I'm a 16-35). I recently tried the non iron royal oxford w/French cuff and those are much nicer, except the M tall has 36" sleeves. While these shirts are on sale for ~[$], I will likely go with a different maker in the future since this feels cheap. It'll be the ... wear when I don't have anything else ironed.

This is nice looking and good quality ... reasonably priced. But the ... cut isn't nearly as slimming as I'd hoped for. I'm 6'0" tall and weigh 155 pounds. I have a 38" chest and 30" waist and this ... big on me. So I had to return it. It appears that Calvin Klein x ... dress shirts are the only truly ... shirts out there without further tailoring.

Overall this a good dress ... but I was hoping the material would be a bit thicker and that the cut would be a little slimmer. As others have mentioned, this ... not as ... stretch cotton shirts and BR ... shirts in general don't seem as trim as other stores. It would be nice if BR offered size options for neck and sleeves on their dress shirts.
... loose ... rough fabric, not really non iron
I was disappointed when I received this ... BR's products have become a lot worse in the quality department, especially as more and more manufacturing moves to China. The fabric is rough. It isn't necessarily non iron and wrinkles very easily, negating the convenience factor. The ... size M used to be slimmer and collar was tighter. The waist is not very fitted at all and the collar is nearly 16.25" now, up from 15.75-16" on previous shirts. I used to take a tall since the sleeve used to be 1" shorter, too. Regular length sleeves are now 35" (which is OK because I'm a 16-35). I recently tried the non iron royal oxford w/French cuff and those are much nicer, except the M tall has 36" sleeves. While these shirts are on sale for ~[$], I will likely go with a different maker in the future since this feels cheap. It'll be the ... wear when I don't have anything else ironed.

I probably now own close to 10 of them in many colors--some duplicates. The fitted cut is slimming. And just putting on cuff links on any French cuff ... me, makes it a special occasion. The Oxford fabric has a nice sheen especially in the darker colors.

These shirts are the best dress shirts I have ever worn. A friend recommended the french cuff shirts to me. Unfortunately the Banana Republics in the STL metro area do not have any in stock. WOW! To make things worst most of the associates seem unaware/unfamiliar with the product (french cuff shirts). To my surprise while visiting in Omaha NE, I went to a couple Banana Republics and purchased a few of the french cuff shirts. I would like to note that the Banana Republic located in Village Point Mall (Omaha NE) is the best Banana Republic store I have ever been in. They the shirts were separated: Regular, Slim Fit, French Cuff Slim Fit. Other stores I have visited have the shirts mixed together. Now that I found these wonderful fitting shirts there are none available in the Banana Republic stores in my area. Because of the unavailability these shirts I have not been able to obtain more of this shirts or take advantage of the resent sales. And the website does not offer all the colors. Thank you for your consideration.

Very happy with this ... Love the fabric and cut. I ended up going with a L Tall, the M Tall was too tight across the chest and shoulders. I'm 6'3" 205, 42"chest/32"waist. Like with all tall shirts, this one is too long for me to wear untucked but I would still recommend it to anyone. The fit is much better/more fitted than the textured non iron slim fit ... have in the same size. Sizes don't seem to be consistent from style to style so it may not fit the same as your other BR shirts.

My husband has unusually long arms as well as a broad chest and can never find dress shirts that fit, especially off the rack. This is the first time buying from BR Big and Tall and the XL ... perfectly! The Slim ... worked well with his body type, even though he's not slim, more husky. It created a slimming look. Also, it truly is non ironing, just be sure to pull it from the dryer immediately after it's done. I bought 2 to try out and will definitely keep buying these shirts!

The texture is really nice. It's a little shiny in a metallic way. The fit is more like a fitted instead of slim fit; there is still too much loose material around the waist. Everything else is okay. BR tends to make their French cuffs very loose which doesn't bother me much but might be an issue for others. I can very easily put my hand through the cuff with a cufflink already in place. Visually it can be a bit floppy at times, even for French cuffs.

I thought buying the XS size would be the same XS size of the cotton long sleeve t shirts....the size chart is deceiving. The ... feels fairly loose. When I tuck in the dress ... can see loose space in my back. I would buy many of these dress shirts if they fitted like the cotton long sleeves and are really slim fit. Very disappointing and I returned it to the BR store. I would have to give this a 3 stars because the material is very high quality stuff. If they would fix the fit of the ... would give it a solid 4.75 stars.

I ordered several online in large/tall, and was very disappointed to find that the cut of the tall shirts is considerably more generous than the regular sizes. I'm not sure why they've done this; presumably people who order tall just want more length, not more room in the body. If you've tried the large slim fits in the store and thought "I just need something a bit longer," you're not going to get what you want in the tall sizes. Too bad, because these are really nice shirts. I've ended up trying to find the classic large shirts (which, strangely enough, have enough length in the arms) on discount and having them tailored to fit.

It would be nice if BR offered size options for neck and sleeves on their dress shirts.
... loose ... rough fabric, not really non iron
I was disappointed when I received this ... BR's products have become a lot worse in the quality department, especially as more and more manufacturing moves to China. The fabric is rough. It isn't necessarily non iron and wrinkles very easily, negating the convenience factor. The ... size M used to be slimmer and collar was tighter. The waist is not very fitted at all and the collar is nearly 16.25" now, up from 15.75-16" on previous shirts. I used to take a tall since the sleeve used to be 1" shorter, too. Regular length sleeves are now 35" (which is OK because I'm a 16-35). I recently tried the non iron royal oxford w/French cuff and those are much nicer, except the M tall has 36" sleeves. While these shirts are on sale for ~[$], I will likely go with a different maker in the future since this feels cheap. It'll be the ... wear when I don't have anything else ironed.

In first place, I really liked the quality of the ... looks so rich and elegant. Worth the price. On top of this, for my Physique it perfectly fitted as a skin ... shows my V shape out with its so rich quality.

They came to me
I had a bunch of change at home from the past 3-4 months, so I decided to use one of those machines at my local store (CoinStar) to exchange it. I was surprised at the high fees they charge if you are trying to get cash out of it, surprisingly they don't charge you a single dime if you get a gift card instead. So I got a gift card for Banana republic (about $47 worth). I went to the Banana Republic site and everything had an extra 30% off. I just starting applying to internships, so I needed a few dress shirts, and this offer ... me perfectly. I was able to get 2 shirts (Total over $150) for a fraction of the price. ... me amazingly, I am very satisfied with BR sizes, they are not weird or different; If you are an M in regular shirts, then you are an M in BR ... same for all other sizes. The colors and materials are amazing, they are high quality and they feel like you are wearing something nice (not only the looks). I'm only 23, but I have been wearing dress shirts since I was a little kid, and BR shirts are my top choice right now.

This ... looks great on my husband. He has a slim build and this fitted ... looks great on him. The blue color is very vibrant and handsome.
Great slim ... ur money
Banana republic slim ... shirts give me THE BEST ... love all the dark colors of these ones. They will not shrink after wash and dry unlike Express shirts which u wont wear after a wash. For a ... $60-70, these are few of the best. For size reference, go 1 size smaller than ur T shirts unless ur fat, or huge. I'm normal height with normal weight, I wear M in all other brands' tees, but wear small for this one. That way, u get perfectly fitted look. One mentioned that these arent worth money for Tall ppl. To be honest, all Tall sizes in anything whatsoever don't make u look sweet; if u haven't figured out. Its like finding NBA player with sweet slim ... suit. I'm sorry for tall and big ppl, but these are not the ones u should be looking at. Another advice is 'dont buy white ones' :/ its something they should fix. all of their white fabric for ... see thru in every aspect.
A bit thin, but very versatile
The material is fairly thin - to the point where an undershirt will be seen through it. It is fitted quite nicely. My biggest complaint is that it runs just a little too short for me - I wear a size small, which ... nicely in the arms and shoulders, but I find it constantly getting untucked. Maybe my torso is abnormally long, or maybe I should order a tall small (if they offered it), but outside of that minor gripe, I dig the ...

However, this highly versatile dress ... paired nicely with dress slacks and a tie or roll up the sleeves and wear it with a pair or khakis and leather sandals. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5, I would prefer if the sleeves were about 1/4 - 1/2" longer... (I'm 6'3" and I ordered LTall).

About what I expected
I would have to say the BR slim ... stretch dress shirts are considered my favorites and I ordered the charcoal and light blue ones to replace older BR slim ... shirts of the same color. Usually I'm a 42" chest and 32" waist, with broad shoulders but I have shrunk a little in the chest area. I found the shirts to be pretty roomy in the chest with a size L and longer length than I like. I also thought the colors were slightly off from the previous versions. I still will get plenty of usage from these shirts as they seem fairly durable and they definitely help me diversify the colors of my work shirts. Now I gotta work on that tan a bit to really make the light blue look good :)

Only halfway slim ...
I can't say that this ... truly "slim ... expected. While it is fitted around the torso to reduce bagginess in the chest, the waist area and below is too big and wide. This leads to the "mushroom" waist look. There is simply too much material to tuck in and not look baggy just above the belt line. I expect a cleaner look at ... my slim ... shirts.

Tall
My husband is 6'5" but isn't that large. His arms are extremely long and it's hard to find shirts that ... aren't super huge in the body. We ordered a Large Tall and it ... wonderfully!! The sleeves hit about where they're supposed to and the body is fitted! He can tuck it in without too much extra material. It ... great! My only complaint is that the material is more see through that I'd like.
Slim ... Stretch Poplin ...
I was really happy that I can find an affordable slim ... dress ... got so tired of wearing these "balloon" dress shirts that made you look bigger then you're actually are. I have one in black and in white...and I'm looking forward for more available colors.
Clean white dress ...
The Slim ... stretch polin dress ... most versatile ... own. I can dress it up with my BR Heritage 3 piece suit, tuck it in and wear it with my dress chinos, or roll up the sleeves and sport it with my jeans and boots. I own 5 white shirts because, really its all i need. BUT i love my pink, blue, black, green, orange, brown, and purple ones as well

I am a 6'4 tall man and I weigh 180 pounds. Needless to say, it's near impossible to find dress shirts with sleeves long enough that are also slim enough for me. Usually Big and Tall stores only have clothes for men who are just that: BIG and tall. Being skinny and tall is much more difficult. Finally I've found a dress ... sleeves are long enough, and the whole ... slim enough. The collar is only slightly too big, but other than that this is the perfect ... tall slim man!! Buy it!
My Favorite Dress ...
I own several of these slim ... stretch poplin shirts in both long and short sleeves and a variety of colors. They have a fantastic fitted look with a slightly stretchy material so they don't feel tight anywhere. The collar, sleeves, chest, and length are all a perfect ... me.
Comfortable, stylish ...
I just purchased this dress ... my husband and he loves it. The slimmer ... very flattering, but still very comfortable. He has already worn the ... suit for work and with dress pants when we went out for dinner.
Great Slim ...
There are lots of great shirts/fabrics available, but the ... brings us back to BR every time we're replacing dress shirts. The armhole is high enough to feel comfortable under the new slimmer cut suits that have a higher armhole, but still roomy enough if you work out and are bigger in the shoulders and biceps. Tucks in neatly- not a lot of billowing fabric. Like the look of trim shirts on mannequins that you see in the stores (but they pin the entire back to get it to look trim)? It's a great, modern cut ... I'd like to see more fabrics besides the stretch poplin in this ...

Husband loves the ... Very versatile. Can be worn with jeans, dress slacks or for dress casual. Washes up beautifully, minimal touch up if any.

Probably the best ... I've ever owned. At 6'7 and 235 pounds with an athletic build, I have a difficult time finding "going out" shirts that are long enough to wear untucked and appropriately fitted across my chest and shoulders. The Large/Tall sized ... looks amazing -- long in the torso and snug across the chest. Too short in the sleeves by about an inch (which I expected as I have long arms), but because I tend to wear my shirts with the sleeves rolled up both at work and when going out, I'm still way more than happy with the ...
sharp comfortable ...
These set of shirts have a crisp but relaxing look. As such they are allow for a business and casual appearance. The material is very smooth and feel good to the touch. The only aspect that i don't like, much like a lot of Banana Republic shirts is that they don't have front pockets. It goes well with both jeans and casual dress pants. For a night out it goes well with a microsuede jacket. I think its a good buy and recommend it.
These shirts are great for me to wear to work or just to wear out. Being a pretty stocky/muscular guy it's hard to find shirts that don't have giant billowy sleeves and run twice as long as they need to. This ... me in a Men's M and though the neck is a little tight when I close the top button, I won't buy any other dress shirts lately. I haven't had these BR shirts long enough to say much about durability but the seem to be holding up fine considering they are my daily work uniform. Some strings are coming loose on the inside of the button side of one of my older shirts like this one (maybe 2 months old, wearing it between 1-3 times per week), and that's the main reason for the 4 star rating.
