Boot Cut Chinos
I was VERY happy to find this ... OK with the price too! I am disgusted by the skinny ... movement and this ... hit the spot. With large shoes I am forever seeking a leg opeing that keeps me from the clown shoe look. Not everyone's "Boot Cut" ... made the same and more often than not are too small. This ... does the trick and looks good doing it!! Thanks BR!

I am really surprised these pair of chinos would get negative reviews. They fit my rear and thighs perfectly. If anything, most pair of chinos are too tight through the rear and legs. I am 6'3, 245lbs (lean). I guess the extra room (described as baggy by some reviewers) compliment my frame. I do wish more colors and fabrics were available as its really hard to find clothes that have style for my size. J. Who does not have a big and tall. Thanks BR!

awesome chinos for an fit, muscular build
I've been looking for some quality bootcut chinos for a long time, and these have been the perfect answer for me. I was concerned from a lot of the reviews indicating the cut is very loose and poorly fit, especially compared to the previous generation. For me, they fit great and look awesome with just enough room to get around in comfortably. With any piece of clothing the fit depends on the person. I am 162 lbs at 5''11''. I keep to a strict regular lifting and running regiment, so I have a more toned and muscular build. With lifters the extra muscle in the legs gets to be a problem, but these chinos give just the right amount of leg room. If your build seems similar to mine at all, these ... If you're more lanky with less muscle, these will be loose on you; vise versa for the husky guys. You'll want to go for the slim fits or relaxed, respectively.

Love these ...
This is the 4th pair of these ... have bought my husband. He's in his early thirties and doesn't like the skinny bottom ... cuffed ... just too small and lame on the bottom. These are perfect and a super cute fit all around!

Amazing Versatility
First I would like to say that they arrived well before they were due. When I first pulled the ... out of the bag I wondered if they would ... they seemed a bit small but once I opened them and tried them own they ... like a dream. I love the boot cut because it drapes over my shoes somewhat without dragging under them. The length of the ... PERFECT!!! The very ... not tight at all but very flattering for the figure and streamlined really nicely. I have paired this with one of the shawl neck sweaters and a dress shirt for work and for going out on a night with my friends. I will be getting more I am very impressed!

Great Pair of ...
I really like these ... read a few comments that these ... too baggy, and I agree that they are baggier than other Banana Republic ... but a little extra bagginess works great for me. I'm 6'5" and weigh about 215 lbs, and Banana Republic ... often a little too tight for my liking. These fit me very well.

Tall Size - 36" Inseam
Me 6'5" tall with a inseam of 36", 33"-34" waist, 200lbs. Purchased these ... 34" waist and 36" inseam. From the knees up I have to say perfect fit, not too tight and perfect rise. I have to agree with other posts the flare at the bottom is too much, this is way beyond a boot cut. I do like the fit and quality so I decided to keep the ... spend the extra $5 and take them to a tailor to taper the bottom (from the knee down) and make it a little tighter.

Why did you ruin the best ... made?!
I have a pair of the BR bootcut chinos that I bought a few years ago, and I absolutely LOVE those ... Best fitting chinos I've ever had. Nice low rise, appropriate length for advertised size, and--most important--great fit in the seat and through the legs. nicely fitting but not "skinny," and with just a hint of flare at the bottom that keeps them from bunching up around your shoes, nothing more. Sadly, I've worn them so much that they're getting on in age. So I bought a new pair to replace them, only to find that for some reason BR has completely changed the fit. These are now a baggy bootcut, fitting way too loose in the seat and through the thighs, and with a large flare at the bottom that creates much too wide a leg opening. Holding them up against my old ... there's a noticeable amount of extra fabric. If you like a baggy bootcut, then that's fine. But if you like the sleek look of BR's older bootcut chinos, you're gonna be massively disappointed, like I was.
