Great looking ... I have bought three of these ... now for my boyfriend. He and I both love them because they fit him so well and look great when we are going out. He has a long torso and arms so usually dress ... don't fit him correctly, these are a perfect fit. I also love them because they require no ironing!
Loving these shirts, bought 3 earlier in the year and 3 more recently - Best shirts everI bought three earlier this year and 3 more last week all different colors. Of the various non iron dress shirts that I have bought over the years (Brooks Brothers, Joseph A. Banks, Tommy and BR), these are the second best (BB #1). The only place it tends to wrinkle is where the elbow bends, but only when it is 100% humid, but that is to be expected with most shirts under most conditions (except BB). The color, feel and look easily surpass all other shirts even BB. Shirts from BB can be washed, dried and hung and will look perfect, really, so there is no need to pay $2/shirt for laundrying them. I didn't try this with these BR shirts, but I also "now" have my laundry picked up, but I doubt they will look the same. I had the sleeves shortened on these, but never before on any BR shirts, so the real cost went up by $20 for tailoring. I have received several complements on the color, look and feel from other women.

Well made dress ... guys with some muscle My boyfriend hates dress shirts but immediately liked this ... He's had a problem with other dress shirts being too wide or too narrow, as he's not overweight and he's not a thin guy. His chest is about 39 inches around and his waist is about 32 inches. He's very happy with this ... medium and actually wants to buy more. This marks the first time he's ever wanted to buy more dress shirts. The material is soft and the wrinkles do come out on their own! Good news for me -- less ironing.
I've loved the non iron shirts for years, but recently put on a few, ahem, extra pounds. I stayed in my same size and moved from the slim cut to the modern cut. The size "upgrade" was perfect. The shirts travel very well in a suitcase all day and need just a light iron before wearing. Through the day, the shirts perform exactly as described and you don't ever look disheveled at the end of the day (well, you might look disheveled, but the ... still looks great.)
The nearly ideal ... Ok, so I'm picky. If I can change anything, I'd get rid of the pocket and make it more sleek. I'd also like to add a stretch version (if that's even possible with the non iron). Otherwise, these shirts are perfect. Like another reviewer said, it is a bit snug around the chest/shoulders. But, unless your a meathead, you'll be okay. The neck is finally a size that a normal person can wear, unlike BR's dress shirts of past. Great ... add to your collection. I have multiple colors and will be getting more of these in white. You can never have enough white dress shirts!
Nice shirts, but...The classic fit ... great fit in the neck but the sleves are slightly long and there is too much material in the chest and waist. I'm a 39 regular in most suits with a 33" waist, so unless you need the extra room in the chest and waist for your man shed, then I recommend the slim fit as this one is a bit too loose. The overall look and quality of the material is very nice but I wish I would have gone to the store to try on a classic vs. slim...
High quality dress shirtAt least in the smaller sizes, Banana Republic's dress shirts run larger than the size chart would indicate. My usual ... size is 14 1/2 x 32. According to BR's size chart, that should be a Small, but the Smalls are actually sized more like a 15 x 33. If, like me, you are a true 14 1/2 x 32, then purchase the Extra Small (XS).
A good work ... Wear it for work, obviously. Stays together even after a hectic day. Easy to iron. Just not the same fit and feeling as regular dress ... though, due to the thick processed fabric.
Not The SameThis ... has changed. It is not the same fit or quality of previous versions. I've been purchasing the non iron classic fit shirts for years now. The material is thin and feels cheap and the sleeves on the tall size are very short. I'm 6'5", 220 lb so finding tall sizes is difficult. I've been very happy with BR tall dress shirts for a long time, but it seems that I'll need to look elsewhere. Way to cheap out BR and ruin a great ... Returned.
Very disappointingOrdered several of these shirts online. Collar provided with the shirts are too small. One ... clearly marked and as the wrong size. I returned the ... sized wrong to a local store (Easton) but they would not credit me what I paid for the ... don't understand as the ... clearly labeled wrong (was not my fault); I even had the receipt but the salesperson refused to refund what I paid for the ...

very nice fitThese ... great.. I have a 38 chest and bought a size small.. The ... true to the size, not tight at all in the shoulders, chest, nor the armpit area.. this sleeves length are just right, there not too long look too short.. I was surprised because the usually I bought medium ... they were all bunched up in my pants.. My neck is a 16.5, 30-31 waist, and I have somewhat wide shoulders, it's genetics and I workout (no weights)… now I can sport my v shape.. the neck is a little bit tight, but I am not buying these ... wear ties with them.. but I can throw on a tie and leave the top unbuttoned.. Banana Republic, I wish there were more colors available… Not just pale and light colors… We are ... would be nice to have some deep rich solid colors.. the plaid ... cool.. I did buy some and I always get compliments, however, I wish there were again deep rich colors.. even earth tone colors would be nice as wel

Outstanding QualityBR size M is the only dress ... I've ever discovered that fits me perfectly off the shelf. I know this won't be true for everybody, however what is critical for others - especially business travelers - is that the cotton in these oxford cotton cloth ... comfortable, "rigid" (meaning thick enough to not show skin and/or t ... underneath) and hold up well during travel in a garment bag. I own 5 in white and 5 in "dress" blue (light blue). I wear these ... suit and tie and routinely receive compliments on my appearance. NOTE: my favorite thing about this ... don't apply starch on my dress shirts.This ... holds up, true to its "no iron" claims.

Great!My fiancee loves these ... We have them in powder blue, mint, white, and grey. He is a tall, 6'4, and skinny, and these slim fit size L ... fit perfectly and have a perfect sleeve length. The are thicker than the regular cotton ... texture and a very slight sheen to them. Also, he loves the french cuffs on these. Altogether a classy ... seems to be wearing well when washed. My only reservation is that they do not come with extra buttons for the cuffs, which is too bad since they are a very easily lost button.
A true "slim ... technical review. Overall, this is an excellent ... terms of its ... course, only time will tell about the quality of it after many wash n-wears. I've worn my 4 slim ... BR ... just one (1) time each, so far. First off, here are my physical specs, because it's good to know how to digest a reviewer's comments, and may help other dudes who have a similar build to identify with how a ... may ... them. At the least, it's a helpful reference, and gives a sense of scale. My specs: 6-1 tall, athletic build (32-inch waist, 41-inch chest, developed arms and shoulders, no beer gut). My usual clothing measurements for dress and most casual ... - Neck: 16.5-inch neck. - Arms: 34-35-inch. Banana Republic’s slim ... dimensions for MEDIUM size (16.5-inch neck, 34-35-inch sleeves): - Chest (measured directly under the armpit): 21.25 inch across the front. - Waist (measured at the point where I tuck my ... into my pants, approx 8.5 inches above the lowest point on the front of the hem): 20.75 inches. - I tried the Medium slim ... BR. Immediately, it ... perfect from the get go. Before purchasing, though, I asked a store clerk what the wash n-dry shrinkage was like. The clerk said non iron ... have zero to-very minimal shrinkage. So I bought 4 ... (all in the “slim ... non iron” group) - because I needed a wardrobe overhaul. - After I washed the ... (following most of the ... care directions), true to what the clerk said, there was NO shrinkage on the ... fact, the ... care directions stated to dry at low temperatures. I actually used HIGH temp for 30 minutes – and still there was no shrinkage. - Bottom line: when I wear the BR slim ... there’s no excess ... fabric hanging off my sides, or over my waist. The ... gives me a very polished, professional look that works well with my frame. Since I have longer arms relative to my general physique range, the ... approx 1-inch too short for my arms. But I have no problem with that. Other pros: - Since it ... so well, it will make a great ... "play time" too! The only downside is that when both wrist buttons are buttoned, the sleeve is too narrow at the wrist opening to accomodate any of the more "modern" wrist watches, which are generally styled larger ("thickness or depth"). This will NOT be an problem when wearing a slim profile watch. This is NOT a show stopper issue and will not prevent me from buying this identical ... size in the future, but it’s worth noting.
This is my 3rd review of this ... Let's go again, I'm 5'8" 165-170lbs and am of medium build. I wear a small and the fit is perfect. Again, this ... not for the bigger fellas. If you're bigger or muscular, go with the classic fit. I wear both the slim fit as well as the classic fit. But, I prefer dress ... fitted, not loose. This ... not the slimmest of the slim ... If you want that, go with the stretch slim fit, which is slimmer than this non iron slim fit. With that said, I felt I wanted to update my reviews because BR came out with new colors. The new ... exactly the same size as their previous version. Why does this matter? Well, because sometimes when updated colors come out, the sizing changes. Well, I can say that the sizes are as they were when the first non iron slim fits came out. I have all the colors except for strawberry and orange. I don't think those colors go well with my skin tone. The navy ... actually looks better in person. Because the ... has a textured design, the navy color looks a little weird on the computer. However, in person, it looks like a sharp evening ... going out.
Great ... This is my favorite ... I'm 5' 8" tall, 160 pounds, medium build. Most standard dress ... puff out in the back. This is a perfect ... no tailoring. The texture also gives it a sharp, quality look, that's not quite so formal looking as a standard dress ... looks like you forgot to wear your cheap suite. The only ... find better than this is Hugo Boss black label that goes for about $350. For the price, nothing beats this for a business casual office ... medium sized people.
This is slim fit??I love the feel and look of this ... wish it was more tailored. But, alas, it is not, and needs to be returned. If this is Slim Fit I can't imagine what a Regular Fit is like - guess two of me would fit into those! The arm lenght was spot on and the ... nice and long and will stay tucked into pants. While the shoulders fit, the ... not tailored after that so the chest was a bit loose (I have a 38" chest) and by the time the ... got to my stomach and then waist (31"), there was two inches of extra material on either side of my body. Very disappointing result as othewise this is a high quality ... nicely textured, and sure to draw attention.
Good ... but cuffs WAY to big Overall this is a good ... agree with most of the reviews that this isn't the most "slimmest" of dress ... can buy and really isn't a slim ... all. Express ... better in terms of being slim ... major problem I see with these ... though is with the cuffs. The cuffs are WAY to BIG and are more or less designed for somebody with HUGH wrists. Since the cuffs can't be adjusted by the usual/normal button alignment and BR decided to go with the double barrel design, the sleeves constantly slip down past my palms. Makes it look like I'm 12 again wearing my Dad's ... Overall, I like the look and feel of the ... but it is somewhat annoying to have to alter these ... (especially since they're somewhat overpriced anyway - i.e. Express ... have a much better ... $20 less, though BR has better style/patterns) just to have the sleeves ... properly. Fix the cuffs (go from the double barrel to a more traditional and adjustment friendly single with two buttons and you have an almost perfect ... looks good!
Not a Slim Fit ... I had to order this ... online since the stores carry such a small inventory on slim fit ... Upon receiving this ... looks great in the package. When I try it on, it's extremely baggy in the the chest, arm's and torso. I'm 5'11, 170. This may be a slim fit if you're 5'11 and 220. Definitely pass on this if you're looking for a slim fit ... returning this purchase.

Extremely Soft Non Iron Dress ... The material on this ... top of the line and very soft. I have many dress ... use when wearing my suit and none of them are as soft or rich to the touch as this ... buy many more of these in the future to add to my closet for extended use. ... great for a thin athletic build. I would recommend the tailored ... skinny body types.

On a whim I tried this ... both white and blue in the Medium Tall size. I was certain the neck would be too small and the sleeves too long but it really is a great ... could be more snug at the waist but much better than most ... Fabric is great weave/quality and neither too thin (not quasi transparent) nor too heavy that I can't wear in summer. I take all of my ... cleaners so can't comment on need (or not) to iron.

Super ... These "non iron" ... look and feel great. The slim ... designation means there won't be huge bunches of extra fabric to tuck in. They have an almost satin like finish, yet are comfortable. They wash with no troubles. I touch up with an iron... you might be able to get away without ironing, depending on your preferences. They look dressy, yet can be worn without a tie for a more informal look. Love French cuffs here, so these ... great!
Nice ... Very sharp ... I'm 5'11' and 155lbs. I find that the ... small fits me better than the medium size. I think the sleeves are the slightest bit too short, but I usually roll up the sleeves and the overall ... much better than the medium which is far to baggy around my shoulders and wasit as well as too long.
GreatA very nice ... feels and looks great for a non iron ... collar is a tad stiff ... non iron material is as comfortable as one can expect from such a ... never throw dress ... dryer, ... rather hang dry them and they always maintain their original sizing.
A Lovely ... Having not seen this ... person before ordering online, I was first struck by the great texture. In person, this is also what I noticed first. I cannot adequately convey how much character and elegance this adds compared to a plain white ... made very well and feels great to wear, although I wish it were not so transparent (very easy to see undershirts). The ... same as all other Banana ... which is to say a bit on the large side relative to the printed size. I'm 5'9" and 140 pounds - so not big nor significantly below average - but for all BR dress ... need size XS. The XS fits me very well, but from virtually any other retailer, I can get away with S. If you have lots of other Banana ... know what size you need; otherwise keep this in mind.
Not sure about ... but it does the trick The very smallest tall size available and it still fits like the sail of a J22. C'mon, BR, offer a small or a true ... medium with sleeves this long. That said it's the best fitting off the-rack ... can find shy of hughandcrye.com -- the sleeves are long enough, and under a sportcoat or suit jacket it's tough to tell there's excess material. This will be my go to ... I'm wearing a jacket and white is just too boring.
Great ... The slim ... Oxford really fits well. It hugs the frame and does not a lot of extra material. I dry clean my ... so I cannot really attest to the non iron claim, but it's a great ... prefer French cuffed ... which is also a nice touch to this item. I only wish they made it in a darker shade of blue.
Great dress ... me (5'5"), I bought a size S and the sleeve is a little be too long, but still acceptable. A XS for me might be too small, so I suppose this is my best option (150 lbs but I'm ... texture of the ... good and somewhat, as my friend describes, fancy. My girlfriend loves it too, especially the soft black one. I still feel like the white one, however, is a bit too thin by the fact that under sunlight it is somewhat see through. Great ... overall, paid [$] for each. Don't think it's worth [$] though.
