Well made dress ... guys with some muscle My boyfriend hates dress shirts but immediately liked this ... He's had a problem with other dress shirts being too wide or too narrow, as he's not overweight and he's not a thin guy. His chest is about 39 inches around and his waist is about 32 inches. He's very happy with this ... medium and actually wants to buy more. This marks the first time he's ever wanted to buy more dress shirts. The material is soft and the wrinkles do come out on their own! Good news for me -- less ironing.
Classic fit non iron ... white I'm a big fan of BR clothes in general (one glance at my Luxe account history easily confirms this), and I've purchased more than my share of BR shirts over the past ten years. This line of Classic Fit, non iron shirts are by far the best shirts you've made. The fit is perfect--flattering and form fitting, without being tight or uncomfortable. I'm pretty average in height and weight, and a Small works best for me in these shirts. And they look great under a sportcoat, without a jacket, with sleeves rolled up, even un tucked. And the wrinkle free fabric really does make them low maintenance shirts--if they're hung up for one day, the're ready to re wear, with minimal or no ironing required. I've snapped up almost ten of these shirts already, and I hope they stay in stock for some time--I would gladly trade all the other shirts in my wardrobe for another five of these shirts, which I could wear for years to come.

Work ComfortablyI received gift cards for Christmas to BR because it's what I asked for. I mainly shop at BR for work attire because the company's clothes fit well and are proper work attire with a hint of style. Further, the selections are endless and I especially enjoy the suggested outfits that are already presented to you, makes my job of matching that much easier. The online store could use a more selection, I feel online that many shirts that are found in store, do not make their way to the Web. However, it is only a small confliction as I have purchased a ... pants via the Web.
The nearly ideal ... Ok, so I'm picky. If I can change anything, I'd get rid of the pocket and make it more sleek. I'd also like to add a stretch version (if that's even possible with the non iron). Otherwise, these shirts are perfect. Like another reviewer said, it is a bit snug around the chest/shoulders. But, unless your a meathead, you'll be okay. The neck is finally a size that a normal person can wear, unlike BR's dress shirts of past. Great ... add to your collection. I have multiple colors and will be getting more of these in white. You can never have enough white dress shirts!
Perfect ... I actually buy these for my son...he loves the fit. He says most dress shirts are too wide and doesn't want the extra fabric around his waist. Even though he wears the classic ... slimmer fit than other brands and yet not really a fitted ...
I Loved the ... my teenager! He is young and slim and it was nice to have an extra small that fit him.
Perfect ... BR's non iron shirts are great. The cuffs keep there lines just like they were new. The button lines also keep straight right out of the dryer. Everything you would want in a non iron ... think my only gripe is that you need to have longer collar stays for the non iron shirts because the collar tips will want to curl if you do not have the longer collar stays. A small issue considering the money you save on dry cleaning.
Nice ... Normally I wear a Medium in other brands. BR shirts fit me well in small. It is a little more snug, tailored look. The sleeve llength is perfect and the ... length looks good untucked. Perhaps dry cleaning this ... avoid any shrinkage would be recommended.
small is not smallI have purchased other BR shirts that have fit me well. This one does not. Other reviews have mentioned that it fits snug. I have found it quite the opposite. In a small, the neck is about 1" bigger than stated (so much so that I found it not wearable!). It is quite a bit looser in the neck compared to their other shirts (and I have a lot of other BR shirts). The fabric is soft and drapey, almost like a knit, NOT crisp and professional. Under a suit it may be okay, but without a suit jacket it looks like pajamas. I'd recommend one of the other shirts for a professional setting.
DisapointingBeing an athletic guy this ... big in certain places and to small in others and the fabric is odd and stiff. I purchased several shirts at one time and sent them out to launder. Tried wearing them and was very disapointed in the cut of them. In fact I left work on 2 different occassions to come home and change. I recommend cardigay. if you seek a nice comfortable ... If you live in Charlotte, Check out[...], I dumped 10 new BR shirts there!

Great!... fiancee loves these ... We have them in powder blue, mint, white, and grey. He is a tall, 6'4, and skinny, and these ... size L ... perfectly and have a perfect sleeve length. The are thicker than the regular cotton ... texture and a very slight sheen to them. Also, he loves the french cuffs on these. Altogether a classy ... seems to be wearing well when washed. ... only reservation is that they do ... come with extra buttons for the cuffs, which is too bad since they are a very easily lost button.
... I now only purchase ... Banana Republic as they are true to size and I don't have any excess baggage. These ... perfect for in shape smaller framed men.
All around winnerIn looking for a textured light blue dress ... I've been picky. I ordered this online without trying it on and have been pleasantly surprised. I am actually on the site now to purchase the ... other colors as it is a perfect ... my body style. I'm between 6'4" and 6'5" and wear a 46L jacket and 36x34 pants, so I require length and pretty aggressive tailoring to accomodate the drop between ... chest and waist sizes. This ... fits the bill and it fits me wonderfully. Today's ... first official out the-door wearing of this ... got an extra slap on the butt from ... wife on ... way out the door for work.
Beautiful, dressy, but cuffs are bigThe look really dresses up a pair of jeans. It looks great with ... pants too. One big wish is that the cuffs ... tighter. There is way too much room, and no optional buttons for a good ... around the wrist. The only remedy is to move the four buttons.
This is ... I love the feel and look of this ... wish it was more tailored. But, alas, it is ... needs to be returned. If this is ... can't imagine what a Regular ... like - guess two of me would ... into those! The arm lenght was spot on and the ... nice and long and will stay tucked into pants. While the shoulders ... tailored after that so the chest was a bit loose (I have a 38" chest) and by the time the ... got to ... stomach and then waist (31"), there was two inches of extra material on either side of ... body. Very disappointing result as othewise this is a high quality ... nicely textured, and sure to draw attention.

Thank Banana Republic for being one of the few companies who offers tall slim ... french cuff wrinkle free ... texture and style are seductive. My one small recommendation for improvement is to manufacture this ... slightly larger and more aggressive spread collar. I would love to see this ... available in more colors, such as red, burgundy, pink, teal, robin's egg blue, royal blue, brown, and black. Thank you.
Outstanding cut and quality!The quality of the fabric really makes this ... standout. Many small details really add to the cachet, such as no fabric strip over the buttonholes and a black thread around the inside of the collar. The collar itself is beautiful as well. ... perfect in torso and shoulders. My only gripe is I found the sleeves to be an inch longer than the true size, but this ... so amazing I am willing to tailor it. A real knockout!
Love this ... I expected nothing less from this ... love the material, the way it fits and the color is so rich. I have a hard time finding ... due to my small waist, broad shoulders and a 17.5 neck. This makes it challenging to find a ... fits right but somehow this one fits perfectly!!! I am very impressed with the ... too bad that they ran out of the lavender and are limited to certain colors otherwise more would be sitting in my closet.
Super ... These "non iron" ... look and feel great. The slim fit designation means there won't be huge bunches of extra fabric to tuck in. They have an almost satin like finish, yet are comfortable. They wash with no troubles. I touch up with an iron... you might be able to get away without ironing, depending on your preferences. They look dressy, yet can be worn without a tie for a more informal look. Love French cuffs here, so these ... great!
Light Blue OxfordAs usual the slim fit non iron is a winner. I used to buy my work ... Express for Men, but after buying one of these ... can never go back. It is definitely worth spending an extra $20 considering the quality of ... far superior, cost maintance without having to dry clean as it maintains its quality is a plus (use woolite, specially on the collar and gentle cycle: cold/cold), and of course the deal breaker..NON IRON.
Great ... The slim fit Oxford really fits well. It hugs the frame and does not a lot of extra material. I dry clean my ... so I cannot really attest to the non iron claim, but it's a great ... prefer French cuffed ... which is also a nice touch to this item. I only wish they made it in a darker shade of blue.
Not Slim FitOthers have said it before me, I will repeat it here: this ... not slim fit and I do not understand why BR continues to call it so. I bought 3 and I had to return them all. If you are really slim look elsewhere. If you have a few extra pounds it might be a very good fit.
BR Continues to Impress...randomlyI've bought three of the slim fit French cuff shirts (in XL Tall) and each one of them fit differently with different length of sleeves. I cannot fathom how much variance there are between all three shirts. For instance, I purchased the Blue and White versions first. The sleeves on both of them were too long (should shrink a bit in wash). The fit of the Blue and White were fantastic overall. Fast forward a few weeks and I purchased the Dark Blue. This ... perfect fit. The sleeves were the perfect length out of the gate and it just felt like a 1MM bucks. These shirts are not what I would consider "Slim" - which I love. Call it slim all you want; it fits me like a glove. I am 6'5" with an average to lazy athletic build and they fit great. I have "classic" fit shirts with all that extra material.
Not what I ExpectedI thought buying the XS size would be the same XS size of the cotton long sleeve t shirts....the size chart is deceiving. The ... feels fairly loose. When I tuck in the dress ... can see loose space in my back. I would buy many of these dress ... if they fitted like the cotton long sleeves and are really slim ... Very disappointing and I returned it to the BR store. I would have to give this a 3 stars because the material is very high quality stuff. If they would fix the ... would give it a solid 4.75 stars.
very disappointing shrank and needed ironingI have been a loyal BR customer for years and was excited about the new no iron ... Well when I tried them on, in a store, the size I have and normal wear, was a bit small. The sales people confirmed that they are making them a bit smaller than before. I just ... arms but was tighter across chest, arms and then stomach (no it is not my weight). So bought several of these ... classic and slim ... all no iron in one size larger. Wow. First of all no matter how I washed or dried it it still needed ironing secondly they shrank (cold water wash and rinse only and the first time, hung dry till almost dry and then in drier for less than 5 minutes on low heat - to attempt to remove the wrinkles. Now I have about 6 of these ... not cheap, that i cannot wear cause they shrank just enough in the wrong places and even if the did not, they would still need to be touched up with an iron.
Bllue ... Again, disappointed in such a small, ordinary selection.,The ... okay but has no style or wow feature.

Slim ... It was great to find a ... finally ... my frame. Being a taller thinner guy i could never find a dress ... snugly and met my length requirement. This ... fits great especially around the shoulders and body, and it provides you with a lot of extra length at the bottom so it won't pull out if you tuck it in.
An Old FavoriteI have been purchasing this ... different colors for at least five years now. The slim ... makes it one of the few buttondowns I can tuck into my jeans without enormous billows of extra fabric flopping about. The colors are always very rich and the soft stretchy fabric is extremely comfortable. It is a very simple ... looks great. I get compliments far in excess of the ... relative 'fashionability' because it just looks and feels like a well made ... I've worn them under a suit for a dressy casual look and with jeans. I hope they never stop making them because it is the perfect version of the solid color buttondown.
Great light work ... Finding ... look good on me is a rough task. These ... great. I'm 6'7" and these ... just right. No baggy extra mid section. They are semi thin, but this is easy to solve. During the winter, use a light under ... thankful for it during the summer. You can only tell that the ... thin when you wear the light colors. Forewarning, tattoos may show through. You can see my all black tattoo. Nothing can be seen with the darker colors. This is a great ... us tall and thin business men. Check the size chart before you order. Example : Eddie Bauer I wear a M Tall, L Tall at Banana Republic.
Perfect ... My husband has this ... most of the colors they've made available in the past year or so. He absolutely loves it. Soft and comfortable, not too hot or stiff. The plackets stay folded correctly through the wash/dry. Not tons of extra fabric to tuck in. It looks good with or without a tie and the colors have been very rich and have a level of depth to them. The one listed as burgundy here actually has a tendency towards a deep plum rather than a more reddish burgundy, but it's a great color. You can roll up the sleeves to make it a bit more casual.
Great slim ... ur money Banana republic slim ... give me THE BEST ... love all the dark colors of these ones. They will not shrink after wash and dry unlike Express ... which u wont wear after a wash. For a ... $60-70, these are few of the best. For size reference, go 1 size smaller than ur T ... unless ur fat, or huge. I'm normal height with normal weight, I wear M in all other brands' tees, but wear small for this one. That way, u get perfectly fitted look. One mentioned that these arent worth money for Tall ppl. To be honest, all Tall sizes in anything whatsoever don't make u look sweet; if u haven't figured out. Its like finding NBA player with sweet slim ... suit. I'm sorry for tall and big ppl, but these are not the ones u should be looking at. Another advice is 'dont buy white ones' :/ its something they should fix. all of their white fabric for ... see thru in every aspect.
Perfect ... This slim ... truly is slim. I'm 5'5" and trim; this is one of the few ... have found without extra fabric around the abdomen and waist. The neck and sleeve lengths are also perfect (unlike some other BR and Gap ... sleeves that are too long). I do suggest ordering one size smaller. I have a 35" chest, so at first I ordered small, which was too large. The extra small fits perfectly. The ... color and size are all just right; however, this is not a no iron ... Great price, too!
They came to meI had a bunch of change at home from the past 3-4 months, so I decided to use one of those machines at my local store (CoinStar) to exchange it. I was surprised at the high fees they charge if you are trying to get cash out of it, surprisingly they don't charge you a single dime if you get a gift card instead. So I got a gift card for Banana republic (about $47 worth). I went to the Banana Republic site and everything had an extra 30% off. I just starting applying to internships, so I needed a few dress ... offer ... me perfectly. I was able to get 2 ... (Total over $150) for a fraction of the price. ... me amazingly, I am very satisfied with BR sizes, they are not weird or different; If you are an M in regular ... then you are an M in BR ... same for all other sizes. The colors and materials are amazing, they are high quality and they feel like you are wearing something nice (not only the looks). I'm only 23, but I have been wearing dress ... since I was a little kid, and BR ... my top choice right now.
A bit thin, but very versatileThe material is fairly thin - to the point where an undershirt will be seen through it. It is fitted quite nicely. My biggest complaint is that it runs just a little too short for me - I wear a size small, which fits nicely in the arms and shoulders, but I find it constantly getting untucked. Maybe my torso is abnormally long, or maybe I should order a tall small (if they offered it), but outside of that minor gripe, I dig the ...
Great ... This style fits my 6'5" boyfriend perfectly. I ordered the Medium Tall. He says it stays tucked in all day, and we absolutely love the color. The only disappointment is I requested a box, and they sent me something way smaller than a ... box! I was not going to try to squish this beautiful ... too small box. This is also not the first time that has happened. Please send the appropriate size box, BR.
Security Tag - REALLY?First, let me begin by sayint that 80% of my work attire is from Banana Republic. I'm a big fan and BR provides terrific looking clothes at great prices. However, my last order, which included 3 ... had a small inconvinience...One of the ... had a Security Tag on one of the sleeves - it just so happened that it was my favority ... ones I ordered. I'm disapointed that it was left on (not sure why it would be on in the first place) as I had to drive to the nearest store to get it off! I hope BR is more careful in my next order.

Clean white dress ... The ... stretch polin dress ... most versatile ... own. I can dress it up with my BR Heritage 3 piece suit, tuck it in and wear it with my dress chinos, or roll up the sleeves and sport it with my jeans and boots. I own 5 white ... because, really its all i need. BUT i love my pink, blue, black, green, orange, brown, and purple ones as well
Love this ... I am a 6'4 tall man and I weigh 180 pounds. Needless to say, it's near impossible to find dress ... sleeves long enough that are also ... enough for me. Usually Big and Tall stores only have clothes for men who are just that: BIG and tall. Being skinny and tall is much more difficult. Finally I've found a dress ... fits!! The sleeves are long enough, and the whole ... enough. The collar is only slightly too big, but other than that this is the perfect ... tall ... man!! Buy it!
Very Nice...Just like Mad MenThis ... very nice. I am impressed. It has no pocket, which means the ... special and it fits just right. I am 5'6" and I need ... have to be ... bought a 14.5 Small and its great. The material is good, but its not wrinkle free. This doesn't mean it gets wrinkled up very quickly, no that is not the case, but yes the natural wrinkles will. Its a good ... like it. I realized that the buttons are slightly off white, meaning the color is yellowish. Nevertheless great ... once again Banana Republic met my needs. And Yes, now I feel and look like Don Draper.
... Stretch Poplin ... I was really happy that I can find an affordable ... dress ... got so tired of wearing these "balloon" dress ... made you look bigger then you're actually are. I have one in black and in white...and I'm looking forward for more available colors.
Nice ... Iam 6ft6 265 lbs,,,,this ... me well..i like thatt their isn't alot of extra material...i bought this ... 2xl tall.
TallMy husband is 6'5" but isn't that large. His arms are extremely long and it's hard to find ... aren't super huge in the body. We ordered a Large Tall and it fits wonderfully!! The sleeves hit about where they're supposed to and the body is fitted! He can tuck it in without too much extra material. It looks/fits great! My only complaint is that the material is more see through that I'd like.
Do Not Like the Return PolicyThe quality of the ... good but I am disappointed on the return policy. I had ordered the original ... too small and took it to a BR store for an even exchange. The associate didn't know any better and credited my card. Then the manager told me that the associate made a mistake because she was not supposed to take a return from an online order and told me that I have to order the right size online again. I was totally not happy because it ended up costing $20 more because my original ... bought at 40% off. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

Utility white ... work and evening This is a nice ... can be used for work or in the evening. I like the overall ... make. My only gripe is about length. Being 5' 7'', this is way too long. Maybe BR should make ... multiple heights, like small, Regular and Tall.
Really a ... I got a medium, and often mediums can run a little small. But this ... felt more like a large. Yet it still claims to be a ... sleeves were almost too long, and the overall length was quite long. So don't think about not tucking it in. Also, going without the top button done causes the collar to hang open a little strangely.
Great ... but too sheer While this ... me great, the material was way too sheer. The ... perfect because i'm 6-3 with a long, lean torso and my regular ... dress ... tend to come untucked, or if not the ... , I am swimming in extra fabric. The quality and sheerness (is that even a word?) of the fabric left much to be desired and I actually exchanged it for a solid navy blue ... white is just way too thin.

Perfect ... I am a tall ... guy with rather broad shoulders and I usually find that ... can be a bit tight around the shoulders on me, but the BR Monogram dress ... perfectly in almost every regard. This has definitely become my new ... formal occasions.
Sophisticated Dress ... I always love the Monogram label. - These ... wonderfully for a slimmer build and are more fitted through the chest than the regular ... fabric has a nice sheen, and is a crisp white. Perfect to wear with a suit or without.
You Can''t Go Wrong With This OneOkay, so I was a bit hesitant about shelling out this much loot for a dress ... Since I've been working on trying to upgrade my wardrobe, I figured I'd take the plunge. I got what I paid for. This ... very nicely made. Good quality material and put together very sturdy. The ... perfect for my body type and it looks sharp with a suit and tie. Lasty, you can't go wrong with this classic white color. I wish BR would sell these ... under $100. However given the style, color, and quality, this is a ... can definitely grow old with.

Good, but not what I was expecting (Thomas Mason?) FABRIC: I ordered this ... primarily because of the Thomas Mason label clearly visible in the photographs. Thomas Mason is a traditional English weaver of ... fabric that has since relocated to Italy. The photo on the BR site states "Italian Weave." That label is conspicuously missing from the ... arrived. I don't know if the ... still made from Thomas Mason fabric or ... but there is no indication. The only notations are that it is 100% cotton and that it is made in China. So, it seems doubtful to me, because if they had used the high end fabric, they would have wanted to indicate it. This only seems like a somewhat higher grade of the regular BR poplin ... -- -- As for SIZE: I ordered both a Small and a Medium, as I typically fall right in between the two sizes. The small was a bit tight, but the Medium left a lot of fabric (I was swimming in it). Particularly, under the arm (arm pit area). The ... "tailored" as I would like. It's much closer to a straight cut than a true tapered cut. I ended up keeping the ... even though the neck is a bit tight. I suspect the neck size of the ... 14.5" (possiblly 14"). (The ... has a nice, close to the body feel/look. My only trepidation is if it shrinks even a little, it will be too ... wear for me. ) The length was fine on both ... long enough to be tucked, but no overly long. For general reference on the ... typically wear a 38" jacket off the rack; and a 15-15.5" ... neck. The chest on the medium wasn't too bad, just ... tapered enough on the side.
... worth the money! While I know it is typical to wear an undershirt with a white dress ... VERY thin. Considering this is from the Monogram Collection, I would expect higher quality and more substantial fabric. The stitching, sleeves, etc were very nice, but being able to see completely through the ... acceptable.
