Slim ... It was great to find a ... finally ... my frame. Being a taller thinner guy i could never find a dress ... snugly and met my length requirement. This ... fits great especially around the shoulders and body, and it provides you with a lot of extra length at the bottom so it won't pull out if you tuck it in.
An Old FavoriteI have been purchasing this ... different colors for at least five years now. The slim ... makes it one of the few buttondowns I can tuck into my jeans without enormous billows of extra fabric flopping about. The colors are always very rich and the soft stretchy fabric is extremely comfortable. It is a very simple ... looks great. I get compliments far in excess of the ... relative 'fashionability' because it just looks and feels like a well made ... I've worn them under a suit for a dressy casual look and with jeans. I hope they never stop making them because it is the perfect version of the solid color buttondown.
Great Slim ... There are lots of great ... available, but the ... brings us back to BR every time we're replacing dress ... armhole is high enough to feel comfortable under the new slimmer cut suits that have a higher armhole, but still roomy enough if you work out and are bigger in the shoulders and biceps. Tucks in neatly- not a lot of billowing fabric. Like the look of trim ... mannequins that you see in the stores (but they pin the entire back to get it to look trim)? It's a great, modern cut ... I'd like to see more fabrics besides the stretch poplin in this ...
Great light work ... Finding ... look good on me is a rough task. These ... great. I'm 6'7" and these ... just right. No baggy extra mid section. They are semi thin, but this is easy to solve. During the winter, use a light under ... thankful for it during the summer. You can only tell that the ... thin when you wear the light colors. Forewarning, tattoos may show through. You can see my all black tattoo. Nothing can be seen with the darker colors. This is a great ... us tall and thin business men. Check the size chart before you order. Example : Eddie Bauer I wear a M Tall, L Tall at Banana Republic.
Perfect ... My husband has this ... most of the colors they've made available in the past year or so. He absolutely loves it. Soft and comfortable, not too hot or stiff. The plackets stay folded correctly through the wash/dry. Not tons of extra fabric to tuck in. It looks good with or without a tie and the colors have been very rich and have a level of depth to them. The one listed as burgundy here actually has a tendency towards a deep plum rather than a more reddish burgundy, but it's a great color. You can roll up the sleeves to make it a bit more casual.
Perfect fitThis slim ... truly is slim. I'm 5'5" and trim; this is one of the few ... have found without extra fabric around the abdomen and waist. The neck and sleeve lengths are also perfect (unlike some other BR and Gap ... sleeves that are too long). I do suggest ordering one size smaller. I have a 35" chest, so at first I ordered small, which was too large. The extra small fits perfectly. The ... color and size are all just right; however, this is not a no iron ... Great price, too!

A bit thin, but very versatileThe material is fairly thin - to the point where an undershirt will be seen through it. It is fitted quite nicely. My biggest complaint is that it runs just a little too short for me - I wear a size small, which fits nicely in the arms and shoulders, but I find it constantly getting untucked. Maybe my torso is abnormally long, or maybe I should order a tall small (if they offered it), but outside of that minor gripe, I dig the ...

Security Tag - REALLY?First, let me begin by sayint that 80% of my work attire is from Banana Republic. I'm a big fan and BR provides terrific looking clothes at great prices. However, my last order, which included 3 ... had a small inconvinience...One of the ... had a Security Tag on one of the sleeves - it just so happened that it was my favority ... ones I ordered. I'm disapointed that it was left on (not sure why it would be on in the first place) as I had to drive to the nearest store to get it off! I hope BR is more careful in my next order.
About what I expectedI would have to say the BR slim ... stretch dress ... considered my favorites and I ordered the charcoal and light blue ones to replace older BR slim ... same color. Usually I'm a 42" chest and 32" waist, with broad shoulders but I have shrunk a little in the chest area. I found the ... pretty roomy in the chest with a size L and longer length than I like. I also thought the colors were slightly off from the previous versions. I still will get plenty of usage from these ... they seem fairly durable and they definitely help me diversify the colors of my work ... Now I gotta work on that tan a bit to really make the light blue look good :)

Work ComfortablyI received gift cards for Christmas to BR because it's what I asked for. I mainly shop at BR for work attire because the company's clothes fit well and are proper work attire with a hint of style. Further, the selections are endless and I especially enjoy the suggested outfits that are already presented to you, makes my job of matching that much easier. The online store could use a more selection, I feel online that many ... found in store, do not make their way to the Web. However, it is only a small confliction as I have purchased a ... pants via the Web.
The nearly ideal ... Ok, so I'm picky. If I can change anything, I'd get rid of the pocket and make it more sleek. I'd also like to add a stretch version (if that's even possible with the non iron). Otherwise, these ... perfect. Like another reviewer said, it is a bit snug around the chest/shoulders. But, unless your a meathead, you'll be okay. The neck is finally a size that a normal person can wear, unlike BR's dress ... past. Great ... add to your collection. I have multiple colors and will be getting more of these in white. You can never have enough white dress ...
Perfect ... I actually buy these for my son...he loves the fit. He says most dress shirts are too wide and doesn't want the extra fabric around his waist. Even though he wears the classic ... slimmer fit than other brands and yet not really a fitted ...
I Loved the ... my teenager! He is young and slim and it was nice to have an extra small that fit him.
Perfect ... BR's non iron ... great. The cuffs keep there lines just like they were new. The button lines also keep straight right out of the dryer. Everything you would want in a non iron ... think my only gripe is that you need to have longer collar stays for the non iron ... because the collar tips will want to curl if you do not have the longer collar stays. A small issue considering the money you save on dry cleaning.
Classic fit non iron ... white I'm a big fan of BR clothes in general (one glance at my Luxe account history easily confirms this), and I've purchased more than my share of BR shirts over the past ten years. This line of Classic Fit, non iron shirts are by far the best shirts you've made. The fit is perfect--flattering and form fitting, without being tight or uncomfortable. I'm pretty average in height and weight, and a Small works best for me in these shirts. And they look great under a sportcoat, without a jacket, with sleeves rolled up, even un tucked. And the wrinkle free fabric really does make them low maintenance shirts--if they're hung up for one day, the're ready to re wear, with minimal or no ironing required. I've snapped up almost ten of these shirts already, and I hope they stay in stock for some time--I would gladly trade all the other shirts in my wardrobe for another five of these shirts, which I could wear for years to come.

Nice ... Normally I wear a Medium in other brands. BR ... fit me well in small. It is a little more snug, tailored look. The sleeve llength is perfect and the ... length looks good untucked. Perhaps dry cleaning this ... avoid any shrinkage would be recommended.
good every day work ... The length and fit of it is very good. It is one of the most comfortable dress ... have ever had. It irons fairly easy and is pretty true to staying wrinkle free. I wish the neck was just a little smaller. I am more of a size 15 neck and my M Tall is a 15-15.5. I also wish the collar was just a little bigger, because it would look a lot more professional and better when you wear a tie. I would love it if BR made specific neck and sleeve size ... like most others do. For example, 15,34/35.... 15.5,34/35 and etc. I wish BR would step it up and focus more on making more dress clothes with many differet sizes and colors.The last thing I can recommend, I hope BR comes out with more colors of this ... hope they continue to make this ... so guys can buy more of these ... do not have to worry if they are going to stop making the ...
small is not smallI have purchased other BR shirts that have fit me well. This one does not. Other reviews have mentioned that it fits snug. I have found it quite the opposite. In a small, the neck is about 1" bigger than stated (so much so that I found it not wearable!). It is quite a bit looser in the neck compared to their other ... have a lot of other BR ... fabric is soft and drapey, almost like a knit, NOT crisp and professional. Under a suit it may be okay, but without a suit jacket it looks like pajamas. I'd recommend one of the other ... professional setting.
DisapointingBeing an athletic guy this ... big in certain places and to small in others and the fabric is odd and stiff. I purchased several ... one time and sent them out to launder. Tried wearing them and was very disapointed in the cut of them. In fact I left work on 2 different occassions to come home and change. I recommend cardigay. if you seek a nice comfortable ... If you live in Charlotte, Check out[...], I dumped 10 new BR ... there!
