perfect pants
i have to say, these pants are flawless. they look amazing and they're not really loose like some dress pants, but they're not too snug either. br is great for offering smaller sizes (i wear a 28 waist), and i'm really happy with how these pants look and feel. i'm going to stock up.

Highly Versatile. A must have.
These pants are amazing! Extremely versatile. Very comfortable and they're virtually wrinkle proof. I've been searching for a nice pair or black dress slacks for work and business casual occasions... i have finally found them! I've already received numerous complements on them... I'm a physician and work at least 12 hrs a day... even after wearing these pants for >12hrs, they still looked as good as when I first put them on in the AM. After reading some of the reviews, I was worried... but these pants have not let me down. Extremely well made... as for the feel of the material, if you've ever purchased wool/spandex blend, you'll know how the material will feel. As for size, I'm a size 35 waist for BR pants and I ordered these in a 35 waist and they fit perfectly... as for length, I went one size longer than I normally get and they're fine... so I might suggest getting one size longer...

best pants ever
I'm short and slender and these pants in a 30x30 fit perfectly off the rack. I mean better than any other pants in 20 years, even those adjusted by a tailor. Comfortable as a second skin. This particular mid grey is extremely versatile - looks great with a navy or black blazer but also lighter colored, plaid, or textured jackets; all colors of sweaters; and black, brown, cordovan or tan shoes. I own 6 pairs of the grey and 2 of the black and will occasionally pick up one or two more whenever there's a 40% or more coupon. With the versatility of the basic colors and classic styling to go along with the comfort of a perfect fit for me, these are pants for a lifetime.

This is a great dress ... always in style and lasts forever

Pants are great
I had very similar pants as part of my private school uniform when I was a kid. Purchased these pants to go with a navy blazer and they will do that nicely. Although, I expected a more fitted bottom and less flare on the leg I am happy with them. The pants are replacing suit pants that were very wide and pleated. So, now I have a great use of a good blue suit jacket with these pants. I will be wearing them in June to a beach wedding and the half lining in the legs will make the pants fit well and breath well in the summer heat. Nice.

NIce, versatile pair of trousers
These pants have a great look and feel without being terribly expensive. You can dress them up or down and they still look right.

Wool pants
They may be wool but these are light weight. I was expecting something a bit heavier for a wool dress ... but these are light and can be worn in the summer. If its winter cold out, I would suggest something else. The bottoms are a bit baggy but the fit works

Great Pants, but sizing seems to vary by color
I have these pants in charcoal and they fit absolutely perfectly. So I decided to order another pair in the black. The style is still great, but even though the measurments should be exactly the same, the black were quite a bit tighter overall. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the dyeing process, or what, because I have noticed this in other BR pants that come in multiple colors including black. I am a short guy, so finding pants that fit is difficult sometimes. When I find something I like that fits well (which is rare), I tend to buy all of the colors. I just wish the sizing was consistent.

My boyfriend always has a difficult time finding pants and usually has to resort to ordering pants online and this results in many returns/exchanges because he could not try the clothes on first. He is 6'4", 210lbs, and has an inseam of 36'. He is typically a 34X36, but after having read all the reviews, I ordered him a 36x36. It fit him absolutely perfectly! He loves them and actually wore them the very next day. They're nice, but i will say this, if you plan on ordering yourself (or a man in your life) a pair of these pants, ORDER A SIZE UP!

Classic Fit Sizes???
These pants are very nice, but what has happened to BR and sizing? I have a 28" waist and have found that the only 28" waist pants BR makes any longer are 28x30- if they even make a particular style in a 28" waist. Few other companies do, so why not have that edge??? Look around online. This is a real problem for a lot of men 18-55. I wear a 28x32 and can't find pants. These Classic Fit pants are among the few BR styles left that still come with 28" waist and 32" inseam. Can you PLEASE get back on track with the length options? There are some of us out here who used to count on your sizes. If it had to be one or the other (which it doesn't), how about longer? A tailor can always make them shorter, but I've yet to meet one who can add what isn't there successfully.

not the same as the old lightweight wool trouser
I have been a huge fan of BR pants to wear to work for years. their classic staple, the lightweight wool trouser was the best ... ever owned but now seems to be discontinued so I was happy to see something that "looked" like the same thing. it is not the fabric is stiffer than any other BR ... cut is narrower (despite being "classic" fit) and the pockets are cut closer to the side of the ... than any other pair of BR dress pants I own (I own about 5 pair, all 32x32 and they all are cut pretty much the same and fit great). I took the tags off right away because I've never had an issue with BR pants so I'm stuck with them maybe they just need to be broken in and dry cleaned...
