Great ... can dress up or casual. Only negative was the depth of the V neck was deeper than i like so it shows more of the shirt you wear underneath. Light material that is easily layerable. Super soft fabric, my GF loves running her hands on it!

Actually picked this up at the BR store as I like to feel the fabric and make sure it's what I want and after looking at just about every ... store, I think this is the best one so far this season. It's very soft, nice fabric not too thin and not too thick and looks great. I personally think the cut of the V neck is great weather you put this over a dress shirt or a t shirt and dry cleaning only keeps it looking good. Many colors make this a good staple for a wardrobe!

My boyfriend loves these sweaters. He wears the large one when he wants to wear a button down underneath it and he wears the medium with a tee for a different look. This is a timeless staple. Pretty colors and so soft

Awesome ... Love the fabric. I was looking for a lightweight (not too warm) ... Spring and Fall, when the weather changes and it's too cold for a shirt, but too warm for a heavy weight ... would have given it 5 stars, but the neck seems a little large--or my head is too small--otherwise it's super!
beware of buying online vs. store
great sweaters. Buyer beware: the sweaters i bought online size M, were much much bigger than the M i picked up in the store.
Neck is too large...
Great ... other than the neck being too large. It's almost like a women's ... fact, I wouldn't doubt that they're offering this in the women's inventory as well. The solid cashmere is a better fit overall.
the neck is too loose
I was surprised how loose the neck is and my first reaction was "I want to return it". You cannot wear this one without a T shirt underneath. I still like it but if the neck was not that loose, it would have been perfect. Also, when I tried them on a shirt (BR no iron dress shirt), the whole shirt was in those little black dots, which I hope will be removed by the dry washers - do not know if I should blame the shirt fabric for being too sticky or the ... fabric.

I love Banana Republic, and have been a fan since way back (remember the crashed jeep out front?) My latest purchase was a ... like all sweaters I have tried on at Banana, it is either a perfect fit, or waaay off. This purchase was unfortunately the latter. However - the process of buying was super smooth, and after I wanted to return, the process was very quick (I ordered on line, and received my refund within 5 days of sending it back!) I will continue to purchase at Banana, the quality is good (My dress pants last as long as comparable at Hugo Boss, or DKNY or Michael Kors, etc) and the service is great.
Disappointment
I loved the material of this ... looked luxurious and felt soft and comfortable. It could have been very versatile, worn with either a dress shirt or just a white t shirt underneath. However, the v neck was cut much too deep, making it look like a woman's ... Unfortunately, I returned it for this reason.
V 2 Deep
I love the feel and quality, but the V neck is too deep. It' doesn't look good at all, Long sleeve collars come out in a weird way.. I'm going to try and pull the back down more then the front to get the V in a good area.
