Quality #1I've purchased basic tees in the past and was happy with them. I therefore was skeptical to try the new pima ... tees. To my satisfication the new pima is indeed an improvement. It fits a bit fuller and longer which I prefer. More importantly the neck appears better constructed and less subject to stretching which is a key appearance point when primarly used as a base under open collarded shitrts.

Soft cotton, nice fit, odd sleeves.Made of a soft cotton that's so far managed to keep its shape after several wash/dry cycles. I like the basic cut, but it has oddly cut sleeves that are very short on the underside but still a bit too baggy -- they hang nicely thanks to the soft ... but still seem very floppy and overly large.
My Favorite T ... I love these ... They're made of a soft ... that's very comfortable and hangs very nicely (no baggy/puffy sleeves). Much higher quality than most t ... I've purchased lately, easily the best I've had in a while.
My New FavoriteAwesome ... made of a soft, light ... hangs nicely, but is still thick enough to be warm. The torso is basically a straight cut (not fitted), with the sleeves cut shorter on the underside, which forces them to hang downward, rather than flare out like cheaper ... tend to do. I've only had a chance to wear 2 of the 4 that I've purchased, but they seem to be fairly consistent in their cut/manufacture; and they've so far held up to multiple washings, though I get the sense that they're shrinking *really* slowly each time through the dryer (I hope they hold up). Highly recommend, I'll definitely purchase more if they're still available when my current set wear out.
Nice ... I have to wear an undershirt every day since my firm requires everyone (even the mailing room staff) to be in a suit and tie. I came across this t ... out shopping at Banana Republic for a black v neck for a photo session. They were on sale (buy 2 get 1 free or something). I grabbed a white t ... thinking I could always use another undershirt. I've since replaced all my t ... shirt--the ... soft, it holds it shape well through the wash, and the neck is perfect. It may not be right for others, since I'm a husky guy (17" neck, 42" chest, 15" arms, 35" waist) This t ... makes me seem much more muscular than I am! Great quality and fit for me.
Great! I like it!It is hard to find quality, 100% ... t ... humid south. This is a perfect T for 10 months of the year! And, if extremely cold, it will layer well.

Must have basicIf you like fresh basic shirts then get lots of these. My boyfriend says the pima cotton material feels and looks better than the other stuff.
Great BasicI recently purchased the other white v necks in tall and they were so thin and the v was a little too low. These Pimas are perfect, with a thicker cotton that is still soft and versatile.

Love this shirt !!This is a great shirt, its very comfortable and light. I use this shirt on the weekends with a sweater and it looks great. I have been using the tall size version of these shirts because they are longer and sit below the waste. the only downfall is that you cant walk into the BR store and purchase them there, you have to go online and to buy them. cheers!!!!

So Far, So GoodFinding a Tall sized T that is made of a quality material is hard. I like Banana Republic fabrics, but in store, they don't carry tall. Then I found out about the Tall offerings online. So I tried on the shirt in store to see if I liked the fit (other than the length) and the feel. Once confirmed, I ordered the tall version online. Happy to say that the tall size is otherwise the same product. Looks good and fits well and my wife likes how soft it is. I washed it to see how it shrunk and it didn't get much shorter, so I plan to order more of them. I like these tees better than land's end so far, and it's nice to have another option.
Amazing fitting V neck!I loved the feel of this v neck pima cotton short as soon as I put it on! I loved the feel of the thick pima cotton and it fit me perfectly like it was made for my body and will wear it under a sports jacket, or a hoodie, to work out in, with a pair of shorts...it's that versatile and the quality is exceptional! Everybody needs at least one of these pima V necks and not the kind you buy in a group of three this is superior quality to those and will last a longer time too, in fact I am going to but another so I have a spare on hand. Buy it as you definitely won't be disappointed at all! ONE SATISFIED V NECK CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!
great teelove these pima cotton v necks, most comfortable t shirts I own. I have several for that reason. no logos, just a clean shirt. I wonder how long something this thin and comfortable will last?
Great ShirtsI bought three of the pima t shirts and really like them. They are comfortable and fit great. I bought my shirts "tall" and I have to say I really like the "tall" fit from BR. I would definitely buy these shirts again.

Ahh Lounge TimeLove the Egyptian cotton! Outstanding concept. Good casual Tee. I'm usually a 44" chest but now a 42" temporarily, so the Large size is true. Sleeve length is mid arm length purfect for me since I didn't want the fitted look or version. Impressed after a washing it didn't shrink however it is alittle thick to be an undershirt so it's my casual Tee with baggy shorts or Jeans or Chinos. Bought 2 crew & 2 V necks. Love the 2 styles. V necks great for layering or for hotter days. Would buy more. Lucked out & got them on sale. Woot!

HOT!Bought 4 for my husband and these are perfect! Love the black and the gray. My husband has an athletic (muscular, but not muscle bound) build and usually takes a L or XL (to accommodate shoulders & chest), but went down to the M to get a more tailored look as the L was too big around the belly/torso. Going down a size gives a perfect fit, fitted, but not tight/clinging to your body. These are HOT with premium denim and under a nice blazer/jacket. The material is wonderfully comfortable (perfect give, while retaining shape) and it has a very refined appearance, so he is comfortable taking his jacket off on business/1st class travel. Oh, and what a buy for pima cotton w/ lycra. Nice job, BR.
Classic ShirtThis shirt really is a classic black ... can be used as an undershirt, standalone tee, or part of a layered look. It's not thin, nor is it stiflingly thick. As with all Banana shirts, the sleeves aren't very long...even considering mine are Large Talls. The cotton feels like it's got some ability to shrink, so always remember to cold wash and delicate dry
Perfect teeAs a bodybuilder, I like to define what I've worked so hard for. There tee's do exactly that. The fit is perfect. Not too tight in the arms or chest. Soft cotton with a hint of spandex rounds out this superb product.
Best ... Market I've looked for great T ... attend formal events and need a clean, smart undershirt that does not add bulk. These ... Banana Republic fit the bill. They fit nicely, the pima cotton is comfortable, and they have just the right amount of stretch.
Love these teesThese are a great undershirt or casual look. The fit is slim but the fabric is quite stretchy for 96% cotton. I've only washed them twice, but they're holding up nicely. One note: I ordered 2 grey and 1 black in M Tall size and found the black to be almost an inch longer in the body. The length on the grey is ok, but the black is perfect. I'd get more if there were more colors available.
the new standard T shirtAfter buying one of these shirts, I decided to buy several more in case they were discontinued. This T shirt has become my standard go to T for all occasions. I love the feel of the stretchy cotton fabric, and how well it conforms to my torso. Very flattering, very comfortable!
feels like a compression teeMy husband loves these stretch pima cotton tees. I order the talls from the website for him. They are expensive so I wait till I can get a discount. He wears the black and grey ones by themselves and the white ones as under shirts. The white ones don't seem to have quite the quality as the grey ones do. He wears an ex large in shirts but I get the large in these because he likes them to be tight.
VneckI love the stretch cotton crew neck t shirts. However I would really like for them to be available in V neck as well.
Nice UndershirtI purchased a few white mediums.... I'm 5' 9" / 175 and the medium fit well. They're not skin tight, but they're noticeably more narrow from below the armpit down to the waist than the v neck straight pima cotton shirts that I purchased last year. Pros: sleeve are a little longer, stretch fabric feels comfortable. Cons: the shirts I got are a little longer than what I consider ideal.
Not PremiumAs I try to go through the process of becoming aware of all the BR different iterations of products that seem to be the same but are slightly different, it becomes a hit and miss type of purchases. That being said, I thought I was buying a ... similar to what I purchased at the store being Pima cotton, Stretchable, Black, and crew net but when I compared it, the one I just purchased was of lower quality. Then I looked carefully at the label and the online version did not have the word "Premium" and there was the difference. Thus, you never know what you get online unless you purchase first and discovery later. I was a bit disappointed and perhaps I should always go to the store and purchase clothes unless I am absolutely sure. My other purchase were fine. I'm going to keep them anyway as I bought a few but just wanted to warn others to be diligent and careful when buying products you previously purchased looking to buy more online.
Premium Pima Stretch Is The One!A few years ago, I bought two BR Black Premium Pima Stretch T ... very satisfied with them; I have a few dozens of various T's and I was "scared" they would be ruined after a few washes. Today, when I looked at the BR website for T ... no where could I find the words "Premium Pima" made in Egypt, just the words "Pima stretch" and am not even surre the current T's are made of Egyptian pima cotton. As a result, I passed! Not until BR specifies these T's are really made of Egyptian Premium Pima. This shows that it's just a matter of time before the quality of a good product does suffe!r
