Excellent ... Tall Man I own five pair of these ... they are becoming my favorite. Excellent fit, especially the length when I wear boots. BR does a superb job supplying quality merchandise to tall, slime men such as me.
Close fit but not too slimMy very fit husband wanted a pair of flattering ... were appropriate for a 40 yo. We tried everything form skinnys, straights, traditional, etc. from a variety of different stores, who knew men could have the same issues as us ladies finding the perfect ... These ... have a more tailored fit without being too tight. We would prefer a straight leg, instead of a boot cut, but since the boot cut is not dramatic, we kept them. Wash is nice without too much fading/creasing and he typically wears a 32x33, the 32x32 fit great!
Great but you need a Hem!I love these BR boot ... fabric feels good, rugged and they look great with any shoe or boots. The ONLY thing you MUST DO is have them PROPERLY HEMMED TO YOUR ACTUAL LENGTH. They are made long. If you do not hem them, they shall drag, get caught by your heels and become torn or worn down. Not cool. At the BR store, put them on, put on your shoes/boots and have the store assistant pin and hem them. It should only cost [$] (I had mine done at my local BR) and takes a few days (if you bring them in before Wednesday). Another note: DO NOT EVER KNEEL IN WET GRASS. I did it once accidentally; white knee stains appeared the next day and became permanent. Keep this all in mind and your ... love you back!
Nice ... BR has changed the boot cut style . It looks like straight cut than boot cut , because the leg opening is too narrow . The gear is too high that cause a gap between the back and the gear when sitting down , and so long .
too smalli recently purchased a pr of size 29x30 BR boot cut ... fit perfectly. So, I ordered these ... along with another boot cut pair and was very disappointed that they didnt fit- both pair were too tight and had to return. The ... do look nice and sporty.
Great boot cut ... Beautiful, clean wash. However, product description is confusing. The website says "sits low at the waist," but the tag on the ... states that it "sits below the waist." The descriptions two need to be consistent.
For GiantsAnd I'm a giant; 6'5" - 240lbs. I bought the 38x36L (Tall) and I had to have something like 4" cut off these legs to make them even remotely wearable. The Quality Control at Banana Republic is clearly lacking. How can a 36" inseam come out of your factory at 40" in length?
Too Boot CutThese ... look better on line, then in person. The color is not as dark as it appears and the stitching is very light. Given, boot cuts are expected to be longer, but these were really disproportionately long. Even with boots on, they are too long and do not look as nice as you would expect.the fabric is comfortable to the touch, but the size and color were not as expected based on the on line pic.
Not Exactly Boot CutThese ... not exactly boot cut. Tight in the legs and tight around the ankles. I wish BR would go back to the previous boot cut width at the ankles.
I love my boot cut ... BR but... It seems I have to try on 10 pairs for every one I keep due to varying sizes in all dimension. My last order online consisted of two identical pairs of pants. When I lay them one over another, one pair is 2" longer. When I try them on, one pair fits in the waist and I can stick both fists between my back and the waist of the pants - can slip them on/off without unbuttoning. Also - compared to past boot fit ... opening is narrower maing these more straight through leg. Like the title of the review says - these are still great pants for the price but it is getting harder to find a pair that fits as they're all over the place in terms of length, waist, rear, rise, and leg. Please BR, build some additional quality into your factory processes.
... great styling but not for tall guys These were nice looking ... Great fabric and the styling was exactly as described. We selected ... under the "tall" category, but these were definitely not for any tall guy I know. They were very short in the rise. Not at all comfortable. Too bad. It is hard to find a good quality pair of ... tall men.

The ... bootcut is gone I have purchased and owned about 5 pairs of BR men's bootcut ... starting from 2003 to 2010. All of them have a comfort and fit that is awesome. Unfortunately the bootcut styles available now is really disappointing. Almost all of them including this style now, while they fit on the waist and length, are way too loose in the rear and in the seat. It looks like I'm wearing my dad's ... one reason I liked BR was it didn't diminish my already small derriere, but this one has missed the mark. I had to return this one. Every single ... have tried since then is also missing the mark. Sad.

Great Pair of JeansI really enjoy all of the jeans especially the boot cut jeans from Banana Republic. The quality, the fit, and the price cannot be beat. I get compliments whenever I wear them. Banana Republic is my favorite place to purchase jeans. They beat out all of the over priced designer jeans and jeans offered in high end department stores.

Faded bootcut jeansGreat pr of jeans! Every Closet needs a few pair of light denim to match up with certain shirts. Only prob I run into with br ... inch or two of extra waist band above my butt. I normally wear a belt so it cinches up plus generally my shirts are tucked out so it doesn't bug me too much. I don't have huge rear end or little bitty waist so I guess it's just the cut. I don't have the problem with boss or Ted baker. Still cool or of ... have!
Tight Waist and CrotchI wear BR pants and jeans most of the time, hard to find 31x34 pants. So I feel like I know their fits, and sizes. These were tight in the waist, maybe one size small. I would have reordered one size larger if that were the only issue but the crotch is very tight, seems wrongly proportioned, especially for a boot cut, low rise ... Fabric is nice, and color is great, lets hope they reintroduce this fabric on another pair/fit of jeans.
nice but tighter than other BR jeansI have 3 other pairs of BR boot cut jeans of the exact same size, all of which fit like gloves, but this one was much tighter around the hips and legs than the rest, to the point where it's actually somewhat uncomfortable. I don't know if it was just my pair that they sent me, or if it's endemic to this fabric/wash. Nice otherwise.

Waist Too BigThe waist is much bigger than size. I'm a 33in and have an entire fist of extra space. I don't even have to unbutton to take off. The material is heavior than the boot cut I bought in their store, not something I would wear during the summer. Also, it is not as light in color as the picture shows. Overall, it's just a avg pair of jeans. Will never buy jeans online again from banana republic.
