Perfect ... Relaxed fit Banana ... fit me better than any other ... I've tried lower cost options as well as much more expensive ... none feel as right as Banana's. The versatile look from the faded black make this a very versatile clothing item. You can wear them with a classic T or casual shirt for hanging around or put on a dressier shirt with nice shoes for the office or a more elegant evening out.
means ... I bought these for my husband. He has a hard time finding jeans that fit his muscular legs from working out., but these worked. He did go up a size from his normal. so the waist is a little big, but fine with a belt. they are a pretty low rise ... He has to wear a belt with these. the black color is nicely faded.
Relaxed, comfortable, stylish ... I had never bought ... online before due to worries about fit and looks. But since I am a size 29 waist, I couldn't buy BR ... store. I had been looking for a pair of black ... could be worn for both casual occasions and for going out. These ... were everything I was hoping they would be. They fit perfectly, and looked great with a graphic tee or a button down shirt.
Very Pleased!My husband and I have been looking for ... fit his very athletic tall build and have had a hard time finding any company that carries a classic relaxed fit with a 36 inseam. When we recieved these ... they fit great! We bought another pair already. I hope you continue to have this style and fit for men.
Nice form fitting ... I picked up this relaxed fit ... faded black on line. I also previously purchased the same relaxed fit in Indigo and faded Indigo at my local BR. I did so because of the fit which was consistant throughout all 3 pairs. That is they were actually snug in the rear which works well for someone that is slim and especially slim reared. I can't imagine anyone big in the rear fitting well in these. Also the look is probably not that great for the older 50 crowd. They also have a nice look and fit through the front. I'd say pricey but like any BR goods sales always make them avaliable more reasonably. They again look much better stylish wisee than your average eveyday ... but probably aren't as comfortable, depending on how big you want to wear them.. Note the lenght is also probably a bit longer than exspected but longer is better than shorter.
Genuinely Great JeansAs a man, you know you have found a great pair of jeans, when numerous of your friends not only compliment you on your jeans, but ask where you bought them. Standing 6' 4" tall and 230 lbs, it isn't easy finding a pair of stylish and nice fitting ... (38" w and 36" inseam) in any store. It's next to impossible ! I buy the Banana Republic relaxed faded black ... blue ones. They are the most versatile ... can dress them up with a nice sport coat and/or designer shirt or wear them casually. I added a couple of patches to a pair of the relaxed black ... swear, I could have sold a thousand pairs in a month. The patches were motivated from any Idea I got from a famous western movie. For the money, you can't beat these ... any category whether it be casual or designer ... Well done Banana Republic !
Black or Blue?The fit of the ... great - relaxed and comfortable. I was looking for black ... these ... appear to be more of a dark blue with a black wash. I'm happy with them, but if you are looking for a true black, black ... these may not be for you.
Bigger than expectedThese jeans look amazing and feel amazing. But I swear they're making sizes bigger without telling us. I bought a size 31W and it's pretty much as big as my Gap jeans which are 32W (also new). They run surprisingly looser than I thought through the leg especially at the thigh and crotch area. It's very annoying buying the same size and realizing they're actually bigger than before. I would buy maybe a size smaller
Relaxed faded black ... As a 6'5" guy on the thin side, it's difficult to find jeans/pants that fit properly outside of a Big & Tall store especially when you're not the "&"; and if name brand is important to you, forget about it. My only real criticism is that it's a little tighter in the seat than I would like, but as a white guy with more of a butt than the norm, I am used to this; better fit (for me) than straight cut. Overall good product, good quality, good fit.
Not the same fitI already owned one pair of these jeans, which I bought in a BR store. Same style, same size I ordered online, but the new 34W 30L pair I got wasn't the same fit as the pair I have. I decided to send back the pair for a larger size 35W 30L. Not sure why this pair was much tighter than the one I already own, but I'm hopefully the revised size won't be to big when I get them. We'll see. Overall great pair of jeans, just odd about the fit on this pair.
Bad dye jobI received my relaxed faded black, inspected them and found them to be stiffer than my previous pair. The dye job was a little different, but I still thought they might work for a "formal" pair of ... However, after I put them in the wash the dye job revealed a horrible pattern across the crotch area -- a horizontal pattern that makes the ... appear permanently wrinkled and zebra like. The ... still cardboard stiff. I don't think I'll buy ... online again. You're product is too unpredictable and not as represented on the web site. -- Doug Schultz
