Gibson driving ... I bought these ... wear on days that didn't require dressing up for work but when I still needed to look well dressed and put together. At first I wasn't a fan of the driving ... but really needed something that could be more casual then my oxfords and dress loafers. Now I couldn't be more pleased with the versatility of this shoe. It looks great with chinos and their dressier cousin the dress chino. It looks great with straight leg denim too. Also during summer it looks great with more tailored looking shorts. I think a tip for those who want it, is to wear these with the ... type liner sock so that you don't see the sock at all. Of course this is a personal preference and some guys will wear them without socks but I can't endorse that...
Comfortable Stylish ... The "Gibson Driving ... recently purchased has really amazed me. It is very comfortable and has tremendous style. I'm truly impressed by the quality. I find myself wearing these loafers, everywhere. I usually wear my loafers with some khaki shorts and a nice short sleeve shirt, on the Las Vegas strip and out at the beaches in San Diego. I often get compliments about the loafers and have had many friends purchase the loafers and many other items at Banana Republic because they have taken notice the outstanding look and the quality of the clothing. Perfect fit, exquisite look, and great value! 100% Satisfied
Gibson Driving LoafersMy son lives in Japan and is unable to find shoes in his size, 13. I recently sent two pairs of shoes to him. He tells me that the loafers are comfortable, they are true to size, and stylish for both work and play. While he does much walking in the loafers, he finds that it massages the soles of his feet.
Great ... These loafers can be worn with dressy or casual outfits! I love the versatility of them and how comfortable they are!
Nice ShoeThe shoes are comfortable & look great. I don't have any complaints. Two observations - (1) They seem sized bigger than other BR loafers - maybe not even 1/2 size, but still a little bigger. (2) The BR no show ... socks still "show" with these shoes. It's odd - I love those socks & with so many other shoes, they don't show at all.
Good ... not perfect These loafers are prob the best looking out of all I've seen. I love how simple they are and the leather and stitching look great. I have the dark brown pair and they are very nice. The one I do not like is that like another reviewer mentioned, they toes will wear out after a while as they will scrape the concrete. These are better worn around the office on carpet and smooth floors. They also look better with bootcut pants/chinos in my opinion. I will most likely wear these with socks.

must have!my husband has been wearing BR's leather loafers for years - and this pair is to replace his old brown ones which he completely wore out (after several years - so you know they hold up great!)
A Great Buy !!!This penny ... best cut / style ever. I have bought all the other BR loafers but none compares to this cut. It's amazing dressed up in this shoe. Comfortable shoeMy husband loves his Turnstyle loafers. He has several BR shoes and loves them all. As a matter of fact, 90 percent of his wardrobe is BR. Keep up the good work!
Hubby Loves ShoesI had been looking for some brown slip on loafers for my husband, who normally wears Bruno Magli and Cole Haan. No luck w/ those 2 brands, so I bought these w/ a 40% off deal and I'm glad to report that my husband LOVES them. They are very comfortable and can be easily dressed up or down. When I took them out of the box, they looked HUGE, so I ordered an half size and full size down, just in case. He tried on his normal size, the ones that I originally ordered, and they fit fine. Even after wearing them for a few weeks now, they are still a perfect fit, so I'd say go w/ your regular size in these.
loafers that you need to have in your arsenalFirst pair of BR shoes bought and I have to say that I'm impressed. I was looking for shoes that could go with dress clothes and night in the town wear (darker jeans) and these shoes definitely fit the bill. They are dark enough brown that you can easily wear them with navy and gray pants and yet not dark enough to pass off as brown/mahogony colored shoes. Also, I was looking for shoes that had a toe box look to it rather than the sharp toe ones. Although these shoes do not exactly have a toe box, they still have that semblance and it appears to work very well. In terms of comfort, these shoes did not require any breaking in-time at all which is probably due to the soft leather. I usually wear them for 8+ hrs each day and have not had any issues yet with soreness or fatigued feet. One piece of note, I'm not sure it's just my shoes or not but i noticed that at the area of the arch of my feet, these shoes have an exaggerated arch support, meaning that it curves up into my arches. Doesn't really bother me, but I notice them when I stand in one place. As for size and fit, since these were loafers, I bought them 1/2 a size smaller to have a better fit and it appears to be a good call. Overall, an excellent brown dress/night out shoes that most likely will persuade me to get the black version.
Italian ... look and feel This is the third time I have purchased the Turnstyle dress ... It's a versatile, comfortable shoe that looks great with business casual clothes or with dress jeans. Last week I wore the shoes on a business trip to Europe, and a colleague commented on the "expensive looking Italian loafers" that I was wearing.
Nice shoe, but seems to run a touch larger than the driving loafers.
