Great!
My fiancee loves these ... We have them in powder blue, mint, white, and grey. He is a tall, 6'4, and skinny, and these slim ... size L ... perfectly and have a perfect sleeve length. The are thicker than the regular cotton ... texture and a very slight sheen to them. Also, he loves the french cuffs on these. Altogether a classy ... seems to be wearing well when washed. My only reservation is that they do not come with extra buttons for the cuffs, which is too bad since they are a very easily lost button.

Great ... - Texture distinguishes ... others
This is a great ... nice texture that differentiates it from other plain ... Its slim ... bit looser than the stretch slim ... which is good, because the stretch slim ... too tight. The only complaint I have is that the cuff has two buttons, instead of one. Otherwise, and excellent ... your wardrobe.

Slim ... not people
I get the impression from reading the other posts that "slim ... other companies means for a skinny person, not simply more tailored. I am an athletic 42 chest - 32 waist, 5'11 170lbs, big through the arms and shoulders. I can't normally wear other companies' "slim ... because they either completely choke me at the neck or become ridiculous at the collar by the time I find a shoulder/arm I can ... M fits like Daniel Craig's ... James Bond with slight space at the cuffs and neck for proper venting. I wear them with a tie for work, then take it off in the evening for happy hours. Perhaps folks have gotten used to a collar choking them in order for it to ... elsewhere, but that's not what it is supposed to do - and these don't. I highly recommend them for normal to athletic build guys who want something that fits better than the average balloon ... Skinny guys may have to look elsewhere - not sure.

Excellent ...
I saw these ... BR store and was impressed with the beautiful weave of the fabric, so I ordered 2 when I saw an online sale. One has french cuffs, one does not. They have a great athletic ... non iron promise is true; they come out of the dryer looking crisp. Wish all BR ... were non iron.

Great ... great ... but...
These non iron ... really worth it. May be a bit pricey up front but if you wash them and promptly hang them they will be wrinkle free and ready to wear so no need to dry clean them or spend time ironing them. The ... perfect on the slim ... serve for both work and play. One thing that I don't like is that the cuffs are way to big and there is no way of fixing this other than taking them to a tailor and moving the buttons. Fix this and they get 5 stars.

slim feels sloppy
Unlike previous incarnations of BR Slim ... stretch for example), this ... feels sloppy. While I was sucked in by the added button details on the cuffs, the lack of secondary holes for the sizing makes this cuff larger and sloppy. The sleeves as a result hang well below a suit jacket, thus creating a more disproportionate size. I'm taking these ... get the cuffs/buttons tailored to make them more wearable.

Great ... but needs tweakes
I love the ... - especially with the finished double buttons on the cuffs.... great new subtle detail to dress up the ... needed some slim non iron ... they live up to my rushed purchase. However, when wearing them with suits, I find that the sleeves are just too long, and the cuffs are so broad/barrell like that they fall out far from suit sleeves. This of course creates a less than polished appearance, and now these ... relegated to non suit days. I'm 5'10" and can usually buy anything BR in a Medium off the rack and have it ... fine - but these new M ... just too long. I'm disappointed.

Slim ... loose ... rough fabric, not really non iron
I was disappointed when I received this ... BR's products have become a lot worse in the quality department, especially as more and more manufacturing moves to China. The fabric is rough. It isn't necessarily non iron and wrinkles very easily, negating the convenience factor. The slim ... size M used to be slimmer and collar was tighter. The waist is not very fitted at all and the collar is nearly 16.25" now, up from 15.75-16" on previous ... used to take a tall since the sleeve used to be 1" shorter, too. Regular length sleeves are now 35" (which is OK because I'm a 16-35). I recently tried the non iron royal oxford w/French cuff and those are much nicer, except the M tall has 36" sleeves. While these ... sale for ~[$], I will likely go with a different maker in the future since this feels cheap. It'll be the ... wear when I don't have anything else ironed.

Really like the slim fit with the French cuff. Gives me a chance to use my Banana Republic cuff links as well. I'm of a thin athletic build, so the slim fit really works out for me. The stitching is high quality with no mistakes on the ... received. Arrived packaged in the factory plastic wrapper in great condition. Five stars!

French cuff shirts
These shirts are the best dress shirts I have ever worn. A friend recommended the french cuff shirts to me. Unfortunately the Banana Republics in the STL metro area do not have any in stock. WOW! To make things worst most of the associates seem unaware/unfamiliar with the product (french cuff shirts). To my surprise while visiting in Omaha NE, I went to a couple Banana Republics and purchased a few of the french cuff shirts. I would like to note that the Banana Republic located in Village Point Mall (Omaha NE) is the best Banana Republic store I have ever been in. They the shirts were separated: Regular, Slim Fit, French Cuff Slim Fit. Other stores I have visited have the shirts mixed together. Now that I found these wonderful fitting shirts there are none available in the Banana Republic stores in my area. Because of the unavailability these shirts I have not been able to obtain more of this shirts or take advantage of the resent sales. And the website does not offer all the colors. Thank you for your consideration.

Perfect white ...
My husband really likes this ... men's french cuff oxford is the perfect fabric weight, it is crisp and comfortable. And kept looking good all day and evening (didn't wrinkle). I just wish there were more color options, and the options available were in stock!!! My husband has this ... white and black now. He loves the airplane cuff links from BR that he wears with this ... Along with a few others he has collected over the years.

French Cuffs Are Back!
I bought the slim fit French cuff online not knowing whether it would fit, since I'm slightly larger than the slim fit I had envisioned. This ... however, fit me perfectly! I'm also very happy that BR is releasing the French Cuff shirts again! This is a great ... work, or just for a night on the town. The cut doesn't make guys look bulky, especially at the hips where button up shirts tend to slip out and bunch by the belt. The ... fits the body very well, doesn't bunch, and the material looks and feels fantastic! I'm really glad to have made this purchase. I would love to see more French cuffs like this one in the work category.

perfect basic work ...
These are my husband's favorite shirts for work. He is tall and thin, and these are slim cut with the length he needs for his long arms. The fabric is nice looking, thick, and seems more durable than other cotton work shirts. It washes and dries without a problem. Plus they have the french cuff, which is a great finish to the ... They ship a little wrinkled at the bottom, which won't come out on its own but will iron out. He has every color- light and dark blue, lavender, soft black, white, and he had a light green/ mint color. I wish there were more color options, becase this really is the only ... he wants to wear.

Just right
I'm 6 feet tall and 150 lbs. I only buy slim/trim fit shirts, and this ... just right for me. I just wanted to address some [...] reviews posted by other shoppers below. One mentioned that the ... not "slim fit" because the french cuffs are too wide. FRENCH CUFFS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WIDE. If you don't understand the style, stay with your regular cuffs. Another mentioned she bought the ... give to her bf with a pair of cuff links she bought, but the ... had "button cuffs." Lady, you're supposed to take those buttons out BEFORE YOU PUT CUFF LINKS IN. No manufacturer is going to give you brand new links; they just give you buttons, and you put your own links later. [...]

simply a nice ...
The texture is really nice. It's a little shiny in a metallic way. The fit is more like a fitted instead of slim fit; there is still too much loose material around the waist. Everything else is okay. BR tends to make their French cuffs very loose which doesn't bother me much but might be an issue for others. I can very easily put my hand through the cuff with a cufflink already in place. Visually it can be a bit floppy at times, even for French cuffs.

Tight in chest, but long in sleeve
BR's XS slim fit shirts generally fit me well as I am short (5'5") and have narrow shoulders - most off the-rack shirts have shoulders that are too broad, which adds length to the sleeve for that too much-cuff peeking-out of-your suit look. The tradeoff is that the chest is often tight on me (and I don't exactly have a ripped physique). The problem with the XS slim fit French cuff shirts is that the sleeves are longer than usual (which is normal for French cuffs) but enough so that I'm back to tugging the sleeves back under my suit. It's annoying, and it's exactly the opposite of the reason why I get BR shirts.

BR Continues to Impress...randomly
I've bought three of the slim fit French cuff shirts (in XL Tall) and each one of them fit differently with different length of sleeves. I cannot fathom how much variance there are between all three shirts. For instance, I purchased the Blue and White versions first. The sleeves on both of them were too long (should shrink a bit in wash). The fit of the Blue and White were fantastic overall. Fast forward a few weeks and I purchased the Dark Blue. This ... perfect fit. The sleeves were the perfect length out of the gate and it just felt like a 1MM bucks. These shirts are not what I would consider "Slim" - which I love. Call it slim all you want; it fits me like a glove. I am 6'5" with an average to lazy athletic build and they fit great. I have "classic" fit shirts with all that extra material.

disapointed / not french cuffs / bought cuff links for boyfriend
French cuffs are defined as a double folded ... cuff requiring cuff links. I purchased this in order to present a special pair of cuff links as a Valentines present to my boyfriend. However THE CUFFS ARE BUTTON CUFFS and I just haven't had the time to address the issue so it's still in its plastic. I just hate having to take the time and energy to correct the issue. I've spent a significant amount of money at BR because the quality is generally very nice but I am disappointed this time.

They came to me
I had a bunch of change at home from the past 3-4 months, so I decided to use one of those machines at my local store (CoinStar) to exchange it. I was surprised at the high fees they charge if you are trying to get cash out of it, surprisingly they don't charge you a single dime if you get a gift card instead. So I got a gift card for Banana republic (about $47 worth). I went to the Banana Republic site and everything had an extra 30% off. I just starting applying to internships, so I needed a few dress shirts, and this offer fit me perfectly. I was able to get 2 shirts (Total over $150) for a fraction of the price. ... fit me amazingly, I am very satisfied with BR sizes, they are not weird or different; If you are an M in regular shirts, then you are an M in BR ... same for all other sizes. The colors and materials are amazing, they are high quality and they feel like you are wearing something nice (not only the looks). I'm only 23, but I have been wearing dress shirts since I was a little kid, and BR shirts are my top choice right now.

Great Slim Fit ...
There are lots of great shirts/fabrics available, but the fit of this ... brings us back to BR every time we're replacing dress shirts. The armhole is high enough to feel comfortable under the new slimmer cut suits that have a higher armhole, but still roomy enough if you work out and are bigger in the shoulders and biceps. Tucks in neatly- not a lot of billowing fabric. Like the look of trim shirts on mannequins that you see in the stores (but they pin the entire back to get it to look trim)? It's a great, modern cut ... I'd like to see more fabrics besides the stretch poplin in this style/fit.

Great light work ...
Finding shirts that look good on me is a rough task. These shirts fit great. I'm 6'7" and these ... fit just right. No baggy extra mid section. They are semi thin, but this is easy to solve. During the winter, use a light under ... thankful for it during the summer. You can only tell that the shirts are thin when you wear the light colors. Forewarning, tattoos may show through. You can see my all black tattoo. Nothing can be seen with the darker colors. This is a great ... us tall and thin business men. Check the size chart before you order. Example : Eddie Bauer I wear a M Tall, L Tall at Banana Republic.

Finally, a ... fits
As a 6'2", 180-lb guy with a 42" chest, I have found it nearly impossible to find a ... fits. Although I wish that I could pick these shirts up at a store, I am OK with purchasing them online. In the past, I would go to Express Men and BR to pick up medium shirts that would be too short in the torso and the sleeves would never reach to my hands. No more! I am now committed to picking up the M TALL shirts from BR and will probably focus my purchasing on the Slim fit as they are the best overall look.

Great fit!
Great fitting ... am 6', 195lbs, athletic build, and the Large fit me very well. The sleeves are a bit longer than similar sizes in other brands, but same as most BR dress shirts. It's always nice to have a little cuff showing out of your jacket though. The ... thin and breathable, great under a sweater for winter and will be great standing alone in the summer. Classic look that is perfect for work, weekend, and anything in between. Length works for tucking in and keeping out with jeans. I love no wrinkle shirts and this one is great!

fabulous ...
My husband was in dire need of new, blue shirts, so I ordered one from BR and two from Gap. He is an athletic cut, so it is difficult to find nice shirts for him that are not "maternity" shirts when he puts them on. The quality of this ... fantastic. He is a slim fit for shirts in the waist, and this one fit nicely through the shoulders. He says it is now his favorite ... wears it whenever it is back from the cleaners. I am sure it could be machine washed; I just don't want it iron! :-) Great ... price!

Slim fit shirts
THe shirts met my expectations, the chest could have been a little more form fitting given the slim fit title but over all the shirts fit well

Good color and quality, but NOT slim
This is a good ... It's a shade of purple/lavender that's very light, and makes one look pretty stylish. As it is plain, it can be used with a suit for work, or dressed down with jeans for a night out. The 5% lastol adds a nice stretchy feel to the ... like the texture. A word of warning though, this ... NOT slim. It'll require being taken in by about 2" at the tailor, which will run about $10-15, not a big deal. This is a challenge with shirts in the american market. This ... still has a balloon effect when you tuck it in, and you have a flat stomach. As there are already plenty of classic/regular fits, I wish BR would make more ACTUALLY SLIM shirts.

nice style
it's lightweight, so you can wear during the summer months. i have half sleeve tattoos on both arms, and this poplin ... not as see through as other poplin shirts. i hope someone would design this ... slimmer in the trunk and half sleeve length with buttoned cuff rather than the full length.

About what I expected
I would have to say the BR slim fit stretch dress shirts are considered my favorites and I ordered the charcoal and light blue ones to replace older BR slim fit shirts of the same color. Usually I'm a 42" chest and 32" waist, with broad shoulders but I have shrunk a little in the chest area. I found the shirts to be pretty roomy in the chest with a size L and longer length than I like. I also thought the colors were slightly off from the previous versions. I still will get plenty of usage from these shirts as they seem fairly durable and they definitely help me diversify the colors of my work shirts. Now I gotta work on that tan a bit to really make the light blue look good :)

Anyone ordering a slim fit ... looking for a ... slimmer waist and a fitted chest. why is that so difficult to get right? there are plenty of shirts available for guys with a belly. The slim fit shirts should be made with people with flat stomaches in mind! Furthermore, the 'tall" versions of the shirts are so freakin awkward fitting, it's unbeleivable. The tall version should JUST HAVE A LONGER SLEEVE. Why do the tall shirts have awkward fitting collars and boxy fits? Please make real slim fit shirts for slim people, and please make some with 36/37 sleeve lenghts for tall slim guys. Yes we do exist, and we would buy your shirts if they fit better. :)

These are fab shirts for tall guys!
I'm 6'6" tall, athletic and slim, and these shirts ... great. Sleeves are long enough, slim ... through the torso is just right. The tails are boxed so you can wear them out for casual. All in all, great shirts and worth it.

These shirts are great for me to wear to work or just to wear out. Being a pretty stocky/muscular guy it's hard to find shirts that don't have giant billowy sleeves and run twice as long as they need to. This ... fits me in a Men's M and though the neck is a little tight when I close the top button, I won't buy any other dress shirts lately. I haven't had these BR shirts long enough to say much about durability but the seem to be holding up fine considering they are my daily work uniform. Some strings are coming loose on the inside of the button side of one of my older shirts like this one (maybe 2 months old, wearing it between 1-3 times per week), and that's the main reason for the 4 star rating.

sharp comfortable ...
These set of shirts have a crisp but relaxing look. As such they are allow for a business and casual appearance. The material is very smooth and feel good to the touch. The only aspect that i don't like, much like a lot of Banana Republic shirts is that they don't have front pockets. It goes well with both jeans and casual dress pants. For a night out it goes well with a microsuede jacket. I think its a good buy and recommend it.

The tall sized ... good choice for men with long arms and a medium sized chest/body. It is the best fitting ... have short of having custom made dress shirts. The only negative is that I have broad shoulders, which results in the ... feeling a tad bit tight, but it is acceptable and not restrictive. The shirts look great and I'll buy more in the future.

Okay ... but the collar...
I would SO like to like this ... which is the type of ... would normally wear in a "going out for the evening" look. (I admit, I would not select it for a true dress ... would wear to the symphony or a business meeting - but that's just me). HOWEVER, when I go out for drinks with friends I typically do not wear a tie, and the collar on this ... just horrible without a tie because the collar does not button down, as is unfortunately the case with many Banana Republic shirts. What this means is that the collar points stick out and to the side, looking like two big wings and making the collar pull away from your neck - and unfortunately this is the case whether you have the collar stays in or not. I would buy far more of BR's shirts like this if they made some with button down collars. Please, BR, make some of these in a button down option!

New material seems harder to iron
I have bought a dozen or so stretch poplin shirts over the years and it seems BR just changed the stretch material. The ... had an extra tag proclaiming the new materials greatness, but it seems thinner and harder to iron. I think this is actually a step backwards. I am sad I bought two of these (stocking up as you need to with white shirts). ... still great.

Perfect ...
BR's non iron ... great. The cuffs keep there lines just like they were new. The button lines also keep straight right out of the dryer. Everything you would want in a non iron ... think my only gripe is that you need to have longer collar stays for the non iron ... because the collar tips will want to curl if you do not have the longer collar stays. A small issue considering the money you save on dry cleaning.

Great ... but sleeves are a bit long
I got this ... XL after looking at the sizing chart and based on the ... my other BR dress ... Size L. The quality and ... great for the most part, but the sleeves are just a little too long. It's not to the point of being unwearable since I usually do a quarter roll after being at work for a few hours. Just an idea of my size, I'm about 5'9 and 196 lbs, BR slacks with a 35" waist ... perfect. I find that the Large dress ... little too tight on my shoulders when I reach out or bend forward. Bottom line: I will buy this ... again in another color, and may look into getting the cuffs taken up a little bit.

Move to BR
I've lived in BB non iron for my daily grind until I lost 20lbs or so pounds and realized I was wearing mini sails; for the record I wear a 16-34 slim ... BB ('m 6 ft 190lbs, wider around the chest than waist). I purchased a medium b/c I knew the collar on the large would be WAY too big. Medium was the right call; it felt a bit tight in the shoulders initially, but I still havea good range of motion compared to BB (remember BB are much wider overall so the movement is a loaded stat). The medium had a much slimmer look, collar is just loose enough, sleeve are a touch short, but are fine if you don't need some button cuff showing in a jacket.
