My man loves these tees.
My man just loves these basic tees. They are very soft and fit true to size. They are great quality and he wears them under sweaters or pull overs. The neckline is stitched nicely so the contrast in layering his clothing looks neat and clean. I usually buy him some each Christmas to replace older ones, but this year we did not weed any old ones out. They are still in great shape and look almost new.

This is one of your classics, and I wish you had more classic clothing for women like you used to have. Your women's clothes are too trendy, too short, and not the fit of several years ago. This is why I rarely buy clothing from Banana Republic anymore. You used to be my favorite store. Get back to quality and classics!

The right white
This T is still one of the best on the shelf. I bought these shirts to get the extra length with the Tall Large - worked out great.

Boxy
The material has a nice feel and is a bit thicker than the usual BR fitted t shirt. Problem with this one is the cut- I purchased a Small, as usual, but the size of what I received corresponded to a large ish Medium. For comparison, I placed this shirt next to a Small Soft Washed BR t shirt and found the Pima t shirt is about 3 inches wider and a couple inches longer. Perhaps the fit will improve after washing, but I don't intend to gamble and will have to return or exchange the shirt for a better fit.

Med Tall
There is about an extra 4 to 5 inches of width to this shirt, i was looking for the same med but with longer arms and length.

Amazing Versatility
First I would like to say that they arrived well before they were due. When I first pulled the pants out of the bag I wondered if they would fit they seemed a bit small but once I opened them and tried them own they fit like a dream. I love the boot cut because it drapes over my shoes somewhat without dragging under them. The length of the pants was PERFECT!!! The very fit is not tight at all but very flattering for the figure and streamlined really nicely. I have paired this with one of the shawl neck sweaters and a dress shirt for work and for going out on a night with my friends. I will be getting more I am very impressed!

Boot Cut Chinos
I was VERY happy to find this fit and was OK with the price too! I am disgusted by the skinny pant movement and this pant hit the spot. With large shoes I am forever seeking a leg opeing that keeps me from the clown shoe look. Not everyone's "Boot Cut" pant is made the same and more often than not are too small. This pant does the trick and looks good doing it!! Thanks BR!

Awesome
I am really surprised these pair of chinos would get negative reviews. They fit my rear and thighs perfectly. If anything, most pair of chinos are too tight through the rear and legs. I am 6'3, 245lbs (lean). I guess the extra room (described as baggy by some reviewers) compliment my frame. I do wish more colors and fabrics were available as its really hard to find clothes that have style for my size. J. Who does not have a big and tall. Thanks BR!

I am sooo disappointed in you BR...
These are the only cut of pants you sell that I buy!! I have not shopped for pants anywhere else in 3 years! I only buy the boot cut in jeans too! Instead of getting rid of the boot cut, you should expand the boot cut... and provide linen, and wool boot cut pants also. Like a lot of the other comments below, I enjoy having blood flow from the hips down. The rest of y'alls pant cuts are too tight. I used to be able to just get on BR and order a pair of great fitting pants, and know exactly what I was getting without having to go shop and try stuff on. This made buying clothing for me a decent experience. Now I have to go back to the mall, and order pants site unseen on the internet from different companies. At least give proper notice so we can stock up. Disappointed...

Great Pair of Pants
I really like these pants. I read a few comments that these pants are too baggy, and I agree that they are baggier than other Banana Republic pants, but a little extra bagginess works great for me. I'm 6'5" and weigh about 215 lbs, and Banana Republic pants are often a little too tight for my liking. These fit me very well.

Tall Size - 36" Inseam
Me 6'5" tall with a inseam of 36", 33"-34" waist, 200lbs. Purchased these pants in 34" waist and 36" inseam. From the knees up I have to say perfect fit, not too tight and perfect rise. I have to agree with other posts the flare at the bottom is too much, this is way beyond a boot cut. I do like the fit and quality so I decided to keep the pants, I will spend the extra $5 and take them to a tailor to taper the bottom (from the knee down) and make it a little tighter.

The boot cut really means it, ie, it's almost bell bottom-like and seems to be made for wearing big ole cowboys boots, which is fine but not in this instance, where you're selling to the general population where boots means small fashion boots.

nice pants
I bought these for my teenage son (just going from kids size to mens) and he likes them, but I think they seem a little short. I recommend sizing up on the length. He really likes the fit, though, very slim, but comfortable. He has a slim build, so I don't know if they would work for everyone

Sizing issues
I'm reviewing these specific pants, but inconsistent sizing seems to be an overall issue with Banana. What's the point of having standard fits (Gavin, Dawson, etc) if every pair fits differently? Too small. Quality when they fit is good though.

Gavins used to be great. Now, not so much.
I've been wearing the Gavin fit chino for as long as I can remember. It was one of those items like Levis 501 that I had worn so long that I felt comfortable just buying them off the shelf without trying them on. However, the pants have been recently redesigned and now the fit is awful. Whereas these pants used to be real straight fit, now they are much baggier with way too much fabric in the seat and thigh. I wrote to Banana Republic twice after I bought two pairs of them recently (without trying them on) and was disappointed with the fit, but they never replied to either email. I've switched to Dockers. The D1 and Alpha fit Dockers are cheaper and better fitting. Plus I can buy them at [@], etc. where I actually get good customer service. I doubt I'll be shopping at BR at all in the future. J. Crew will do fine for my WASP y clothing needs.

good, comfortable alternative for dress pants
My husband is 5' 8" and built like a fullback, with a very well endowed back side. His waist is small, butt is big, thighs very muscular and large; which all adds up to very difficult to fit. While these pants do not hang on him the way they look on the model, they fit very well. I am really happy I gambled on these pants, because I think it fills out his wardrobe with a much needed alternative for dress pants and jeans.

A good work pant
I have a small waist and can only buy pants online. My waist is about 28 inches, but because I run and lift weights, my legs are big for my frame. I need to but a 29 inche waist just to have some room for my legs. The Dawson chinos are great because the waist is true to size and the are a little roomier in the legs. I did think they were a little short, but they are close enough for the length. I wear these to work, but they would be good for casual outings.

Nice pants
They fit just like they did in the store. Seem durable too. Bought 2 extra pairs online.

The fit and feel of these pants are great. My only issue is the questionable quality of the fabric. The first time I took them to the dry cleaners they came back with stains from the press machine. When I asked how the stains got there, the dry cleaner looked at the clothing tag and immediately said the fabric was from Bangladesh and very cheap. I really like these pants, so I hope the fabric stands up to years of causal wear.

Nice chinos, but beware shrinkage
These Dawson chinos are really quite nice. They're soft, true to size, and seemingly well made. The one problem is that they tend to shrink a fair amount on the first wash, and if--like me--you're sort of in between sizes anyway, this can be be an issue. I would almost recommend buying them one size up in length, washing them in hot water to intentionally shrink them down. If they are still a bit too long, you could always have taken up a small amount. The shrinking problem notwithstanding, these are nice pants.

6''3'''' and 36" length pants were WAY too short
I'm a tall guy 6'3'' and I'm accustomed to resorting to purchasing pants/jeans online in order to find my size (36 lengths). However I've never purchased Banana Republic jeans before (I usually stick with Gap, but they didn't have anything like these khakis) and they looked more like a 33 length, so I had to return them. Also the waist was too small as well (again I'm normally a 33-34 waist) I tried the 33 and they were too tight on me. I'd LOVE if BR make 38 length of these pants. I'd buy them in a heart beat.

Variance
My husband has this same style in 5 other pairs (all purchased within 1/2 - 1 year ago). They are great for his job and wear well. For Christmas I purchased him a new pair in navy and just recently purchased him the gray pair. Both have been returned due to the waist being too small. My husband physically compared the navy & gray pairs to existing pairs and instead of being a 36" x 36" as marked on tags they were closer to a 34" x 36". Not sure why the variance, but my husband is now looking for other retailers that carry Tall work pants in their stores versus ordering online.

no crotch room
pants are uncomfortable - no room in the crotch and thus uncomfortable and unwearable. Additionally the waist is too small. I bough shorts from BR which fit fine in both crotch and waist, but same sized pants are horrible. I'm done buying pants from BR.

Inconsistant sizing
If I could, I would mark the overall size of these pants as all over-the place. For one, they are going to shrink, a lot. my size 32x32 went to a 31x29 after just one washing on their recommended settings. I measured this with a tape measure. Why can't BR just pre shrink their clothing? Also, while this is supposed to be a relaxed fit pant, the leg openings are way too wide, it seriously feels like I'm wearing parachute pants. Chinos aren't supposed to be extra boot cut. GAP brands quality and consistency has dropped, I'll be looking at other brands for now on.

Front Pockets too short!
That's about all there is to say. Fabric is thinner than it should be for the price of these pants plus like one's we've tried from ON lately, the front pockets are too small. Even change falls out when you sit down.

I'm 5-9, 140lbs and I went with the small size. The fit is just right and I'm happy with the purchase. It isn't the warmest jacket in the world but you can definitely wear it when it's 50 degrees out. If it's colder than that, you're better off wearing one of your warmer jackets.

Versatile jacket
I bought this for my 18 year old son and like the design and quality. I did find it ran small and returned it for a size larger.

Smooth
Looks good either dressed up or down. Recommended! Small looks good on a 5"9 slim body type.

Great Looking, NOT so great fitting
Ok, so the style of this jacket is great. I really wanted to love it. but the fit is too tight. The armholes are very small. It's also slightly too long. The biggest problem with this jacket is that it fits more like a slim dress shirt than a jacket. When you raise your arms, the shoulders remain boxy. It is very trim fitting when zippered -- perfect for a shirt, not for a jacket. It might work with just a t shirt or a thin layered dress shirt. You can forget wearing a sweater under this jacket. Take an inch off the lengths of the torso and sleeves and add it to the armholes and this jacket would be perfect.

Great looking overall, some tightness & odd style choices
This is a great looking jacket. I don't have spaghetti arms, but I'm not super jacked, either, and I find the upper arms to be a bit tight (in the arm pit / seam where the arm joins the main part of the jacket). It looks great, but would be a little more comfortable with literally just an inch of extra room there. Also, as someone else stated, it's a bit odd that the 'motorcycle' collar extends on both sides instead of just one. This actually ends up being annoying when you zip the jacket up. Since I got it for 50% off, I'm not bothered by these issues enough to send it back, but at full price, I wouldn't keep it.

Great jacket with overlylong sleeves
It's a very good jacket. It's very well constructed and the design is current. My only caveat is that the sleeves are too long for me. While the button is enough to keep the cuff at my wrist, the extra material in the arm bunches up hideously. I was very happy with the jacket when I purchased it but the sleeves issue kept me from wearing it. I may decide to give to someone else or have it altered. It's strange considering that the jacket fits pretty well otherwise. I understand that there are a lot of people complaining out items being too small, but these people can always size up. I ordered an XS and there are no smaller sizes.

Extremely small
I fit between a medium and a large size, depending on the brand and product. This jacket in a large was so small that it looked silly--very short, skin tight, so tight that when zipped, the whole thing moved together. Not recommended.

Looks Okay but the Fit is Bad
I ordered this jacket in a small. I am somewhere in between a small and a medium. My upper body is on the large side but my waist is small. The fit was tight in almost every place and the sleeves were far too long. I put this jacket back in the box about 3 minutes after I tried it on.
