Wedding Gift!
My sister and I wore these pearl earrings for her wedding. I love them so much that I bought them and the freshwater pearl necklace for my bridesmaids and can't wait to give them as the jewelry they will wear in my wedding! They (and the necklace) are ... every women should have in their jewelry box!

Perfect !
Bought these for myself and absolutely loved them. The way they sit on your earlobe and the color are definitely worth it. Then my 17 year old started wearing them and since she's a "classic" 17 year old teenager, I was really surprised. Had to buy another pair for myself since she officially "borrowed" them from me. I wear them almost every day and with summer coming now they will look great on tanned skin too.

I have been wanting to replace my now broken and old pearls with new ones but was holding off due this recession.I purchased these, tried them on and immediately smiled !They are symmetrical and a pretty white. Very classic!

I bought a pair of these 5 or 6 years ago and I still wear them EVERY day. They are classic and go with anything. I love freshwater pearls, and these have the flat back, so they fit perfectly against your ears. I decided to buy a second pair to wear for my wedding, so they would have a little more shine to them and be a little whiter. I still wear the old ones everyday, and I'll be putting on the new pair in November!

I love these earrings. I love their simplicity and elegance. They go great with a classic look, but they also compliment a funky/chic outfit. Their quality is suprisingly good; I actually like their shape as they are not perfectly round. And they go great with the fresh water pearls necklace.

These are affordable, classic, and suitable for everyday wear. Since they have the perfect white and shine, their oval shape isn't apparent.

These simple, classic pearl earrings are just lovely. They are good for dress up nights as well as dress down days. They add a nice sparkle to an everyday outfit. I am not much an earring gal, but these are an exception. They sparkle and are well designed. Sometimes pearl earring have glue showing where the post and the pearl meet, but these do not. These make a great gift for a nice lady in your life.

a bunch of other reviewers commented on these being disc like or flattened--mine were pretty much your standard, classic, spherical pearl. for [$] im not going to bash the luster or anything, but please remember, you get what you pay for--these are not $300 majorica pearls...but for everyday, i dont-care if-i lose-or break-one, they are great!

you will love these!
these ... beautiful, stylish, classy...i cannot say enough good things about them. they are the perfect size, hanging a bit above the shoulder on me (i'm small) and ... light and comfortable. ... easily go just as well with a t shirt and jeans as ... do with a cocktail dress - i've worn them with both. for the person who wrote the review about them tarnishing, the sterling silver should be able to be cleaned with a silver cleaner. i absolutely love these - i buy BR clothes, jewelry and accessories all the time and ... one of my favorite BR items ever.

Extremely versitile earrings
These are well made (good quality metal, substantial but not at all heavy) and versitile. They go with a lot of outfits, both professional and casual. I like them because they're classic and modern at the same time, if that's possible. I got the silver originally and ended up ordering the gold as well. I agree that BR should give the dimensions. Highly recommended.

Help for guys
Hopefully this will help another guy out in purchasing something for his girlfriend. I was looking for something for my girlfriend and came across these earings, I'm generally on the fence when buying jewelry, but glad I made this purcahse. She wears them all the time and gets compliments constantly.

Exactly What I Wanted
I’m completely satisfied with these earrings. I got them in silver. They are on trend, yet give a classic, polished look. They are large, but that’s exactly what I wanted. For me, they are too big for work, but perfect for a night out. I especially like that they are light weight. I hardly know they are there.

Love these earrings. Great to wear if you are keeping the jewelry simple. You don't need a necklace.

double hoop ...
I was looking for simple gold ... were versatile enough to wear for day and night. I'm excited that I found ... online. With most jewelry at Banana Republic, the price was right. My only complaint was that the ... larger than I though when I purchased them. It would be helpful to have the measurements of the jewelery or to show the jewelery on a mannequin so the customer buying online can see the size. I am unlikely to buy jewelery online again without knowing the approximate size.

Double hoop ...
The ... pretty much as expected but they're a gift for a family member and it would've been nice to get a complimentary gift box for them from BR. I ordered jewelry for this person from Neiman Marcus at a similar price ... were on sale) and ... sent gift boxes, so.... what's the deal, BR?

Tarnished!
I liked the way ... looked online, but after about a month, ... became completely tarnished. ... look nothing like the online picture anymore. I've have a lot of BR jewelry, and none has become this discolored.

Just ok, and tarnished over 100% of surface almost immediately
I'm so bummed, I put these away in my jewelry case for just over a month (so can't return them) and pulled them out to wear - black all over. I've never seen anything tarnish so fast. Yuck. ... cute enough but I'd skip it unless you like polishing silver every time you wear it.

horribly tarnished
I have gone through two sets of these earrings already. The first pair tarnished within a month. I returned that pair for a new pair, which again tarnished. They look old, and I will not wear then again- they look that bad. Beware before buying- even jewelry cleaner could not make these ... look any better
