nice, comfortable, mid weight ... Bought several styles of Fitted Tees for my husband and we liked this one the best. It's still fairly light weight, but the addition of Lycra seems to make the fabric more stable and less likely to" twist" . It's nicely fitted so it looks neat and attractive, but also light and fitted enough to wear under another ... cooler weather. The sizing is on the mark too; trim, without being tight. It's also long enough to be tucked in, unlike some of the other fitted T's. GOOD BASIC..
HOT!Bought 4 for my husband and these are perfect! Love the black and the gray. My husband has an athletic (muscular, but not muscle bound) build and usually takes a L or XL (to accommodate shoulders & chest), but went down to the M to get a more tailored look as the L was too big around the belly/torso. Going down a size gives a perfect fit, fitted, but not tight/clinging to your body. These are HOT with premium denim and under a nice blazer/jacket. The material is wonderfully comfortable (perfect give, while retaining shape) and it has a very refined appearance, so he is comfortable taking his jacket off on business/1st class travel. Oh, and what a buy for pima cotton w/ lycra. Nice job, BR.
Great ... well, holds up well in the wash, doesn't wrinkle too badly when hang dried. I wish the body was a bit longer (6'5" 190 lbs, 34" inseam - medium talls are the only possible option ever) but I'd rather have a good ... body/sleeves and struggle to keep it tucked than to be wearing some billowy circus tent. If the body was 2 inches longer, it would be perfect; since it's not, it's just great.
Probably my favorite piece of clothingI am addicted to these shirts and how great they fit and feel. I know pretty much wear these exclusively. Made the mistake of getting just pima cotton without the "stretch" once thinking it wasnt a big difference, wrong! I rarely write reviews and when I do they are mostly negative but I have to give props where they are due. Wish I had a way for them to stay super white and fresh though...a problem which affects all white shirts unfortunately.
Classic ... This ... really is a classic black ... can be used as an undershirt, standalone ... part of a layered look. It's not thin, nor is it stiflingly thick. As with all Banana ... sleeves aren't very long...even considering mine are Large Talls. The cotton feels like it's got some ability to shrink, so always remember to cold wash and delicate dry
Like a gloveThese ... greatest. I have big arms with tatoos and like to show them. This ... does it better than any other. Just the right amount of stretch for that perfect fit. Just lower the price a little will ya?
High Quality Functional Fitted T shirtThis is a great t shirt for all the fitted dress and causal shirts I have. The stretch pima cotton is high quality and the fit and construction are top notch. I plan on wearing them (I have several in all three colors offered) under fitted dress ... more tailored look without the bulk of a standard t shirt. BR has this one right and I highly recommend them. Buy them in a set of two and get a 25% discount and the price is reasonable. If fitted isn't your thing, they also offer them in pima cotton with no stretch and they are great as well.
Too small for a ... guy. I brought 2 new ... Pima cotton basic tees in large ... One black and one white. They both fit small on the chest, arms and shoulders. I'm a 6.6ft ... guy with a slim build. So i'm going to change the size and get 2 X large of these tees. The fabic feels great.
Neck stretched right awayBR tees used to be the most dependable for the necks to keep their shape even after many washings. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. I don't even have a big head and the necks were stretched after one washing! I have always been willing to shell out an extra few bucks for these expensive tees because they kept their shape. Now I am a bit frustrated and I hope BR responds and goes back to the stretch free necks that they had on all varieties of their T shirts. Please make it worth the extra money again!
Too ... Stretched Over Time These ... were great at first but now have ... my knees after two years. I usually wear XL Tall but these sleeves hang out the bottom of BR's XXL Tall pullover short sleeves. This was happening when I first started wearing them. I started wearing with dress ... ordered the regular cotton XL Talls and they have been great. I am 6'4" and need the tall but the stretch cotton looses its elasticity and now they are great night ... girls no exaggeration. The funny thing is that the charcoal color in this same ... has actually shrunk and have become muscle ... but are still long enough without the bacon effect. After two years they are still thick too. Order Charcoal DO NOT ORDER WHITE ... COTTON. Also get the ROYAL OXFORDS they are the best!
neck sucks I purchased one of these ... tees at the store...loved it...so I ordered these online and they are not at all the same as the one I purchased in the store....the neck is too big......I suggest you do something about quality control and make a better effort to be consistent with your fits...I will be returning these ... hopefully finding the correct one at the store
