I am sooo disappointed in you BR...
These are the only cut of pants you sell that I buy!! I have not shopped for pants anywhere else in 3 years! I only buy the boot cut in jeans too! Instead of getting rid of the boot cut, you should expand the boot cut... and provide linen, and wool boot cut pants also. Like a lot of the other comments below, I enjoy having blood flow from the hips down. The rest of y'alls ... cuts are too tight. I used to be able to just get on BR and order a pair of great fitting pants, and know exactly what I was getting without having to go shop and try stuff on. This made buying clothing for me a decent experience. Now I have to go back to the mall, and order pants site unseen on the internet from different companies. At least give proper notice so we can stock up. Disappointed...
boot cut chino
the pants are good; though they wrinkle very easily, I am very pleased with their cut. I disagree with the other review online here that they are a size bigger than they claim to be; rather, i would say the waist size is consistant in my experience with pants. i was disappointed to find my size in black is not available for some unspecified reason. I do think this site has some major flaws though; i ordered during a sale, and apparently, when there is a hugh volume of orders, some orders just get dropped and nobody gets informed. by the time i figured out my package wasn't coming a pair was sold out; i called the site and they were helpful, but they also told me they would order me a pair that was sold out in a few days, but that never happened. Ive never seen a site this ... doesn't give a rip whether they get my money or not
Excellent fit
... guys out there, these pants fit awesome!! I am 6'6" 250lbs and was getting tired of visiting a 1000 stores looking for pants that only prepared me for the flood. The 36 length is true to size and the boot cut makes them fit nicely over a pair of boots. The ... legs dont get caught up on the tongue of your boots. I probly wouldnt recommend them if you plan on wearing low cut dress shoes though. The boot cut is too ... them and they would be dragging on the ground. Just bought 2 more pair. Love them!!!
Love these pants!
Being a Bigger guy, I find these pants are great to help create balance for certain looks. When I have these pants on someone usually asks me If I have lost weight, because they help my waist to seem smaller, because of the with of the bottom of the pant. I typically only wear the pants in the fall and winter, when wearing a boot of the appropriate weight. Something BIG and HEAVY like an Engineer Boot. The Fabric of the pant is a nice weight, because it is not to heavy to wear into early spring. People have to understand size, scale and proportion of their body, and what makes sence with what they are wearing. That is what makes the ... work or not work, is how you put it together, and the size and shape of your body.
BEST. PANTS. EVER.
Love these! I ordered one in every color. And I'm considering buying another set as a backup. The colors for some are slightly different than what is shown online, in my opinion. For example, the Moose Brown appears more green than brown to me. And the Charleston Brown appears much darker in person than online. But they're both great colors. Khaki is my favorite, though. I've been looking for a pair of khakis that have a true "khaki" color. So many of the other brands look more like "Stone" (a lighter color) or have a golden hue to them. This color is perfect -- not too light, not too dark/tan/beige. As for the bootcut, it's awesome. I see some people are complaining that it's too large an opening? I completely disagree. These are bootcut pants and are meant to have a wide leg opening. If you don't want that style, buy the straight leg versions. Bootcuts like these look great and don't bunch up at the leg like slim/straight leg pants do, which is why I love them. A note about size... waist was perfect for me. I typically wear a 32 and ordered these in 32. Great fit. As for inseam, I'm between a 32 and a 34, depending on the brand/style. I ordered these in a 34 and they're the perfect length, so if you're between inseam lengths, I'd recommend rounding up. Thanks, BR!
... Size - 36" Inseam
Me 6'5" ... inseam of 36", 33"-34" waist, 200lbs. Purchased these pants in 34" waist and 36" inseam. From the knees up I have to say perfect fit, not too tight and perfect rise. I have to agree with other posts the flare at the bottom is too much, this is way beyond a boot cut. I do like the fit and quality so I decided to keep the pants, I will spend the extra $5 and take them to a tailor to taper the bottom (from the knee down) and make it a little tighter.
Goodbye Dockers
If you want a nice shape and not a "pegged" look these are for you. If you don't want to look like an antimated pig wearing pants, balooned out in butt and thighs, buy these. Very well made, the waist band is smooth and seams are well done and fabric feels like "quality material." Very confortable and can fit to a variety of occasions with different shirts, sweaters and jackets. Goodbye Dockers!!!
Finally !
I must have bought and returned at least 3 different styles of Chino's before finally finding the perfect pair. The boot fit cut, is the fit I have been searching for. I stand at slightly under 5'8 and just over 130lbs and shop at BR often since their clothes are designed for somewhat smaller ... wanted some chino's that were slim but not skinny and the boot fit 29/30 chino's were just that for me. I liked em so much that I bought a 2nd pair just days after ordering my first. Great pants, great fit and look for them coupons in the mail and you can get a great price as well!

I love these pants, but sometimes the sizing is inconsistent, 31 is too tight, and 32 is too ... but im still a fan.
Nice ... but to ...
These pants were too ... size ordered both in the waist and the length. The Dawson of the same size fit much better, which is interesting since the Dawson cut is a relaxed fit. Other than the sizing they are a nice pair of Chinos.
The pants are not what they use to be....
I can sadly say that the new boot cut pants are too ... They are an inch bigger than the old style. I suggest BR to go back to their old styles...they were much better styles!!!

Love it
So I prefer my pants a little loose...i'm ... have ... thick thighs and it's difficult finding pants that are comfortably loose without being insanely baggy. These are it! This is what i thought i was getting when i ordered the Dawson chino - which is waaay too baggy. The Gavin chino is phenomenal. I now own 6 pairs...i plan on putting a permanent crease on a couple of them just to make them a LITTLE bit dressier for work. Truth be told, though, they can be worn as is right to work. Bottom line. LOVE THESE PANTS!

These are the only work ... buy. I've had about a dozen pairs so far. I only wish they would go on sale once in a while (gavin chinos are exempt from pretty much every BR sale).

Our family loves BR clothes. The styles are classic but modern and the quality is always good. I found the online support to be very helpful and customer oriented. The best shopping day is when I find a sale at BR!
nice ...
I bought these for my teenage son (just going from kids size to mens) and he likes them, but I think they seem a little short. I recommend sizing up on the length. He really likes the fit, though, very slim, but comfortable. He has a slim build, so I don't know if they would work for everyone
VERY Disappointed
I hate to write a negative review as I'm a loyal customer of BR but I could not have been more disappointed in these pants. I will admit... the sizing is going to play a role "perhaps" ... but I got my usual 34x34 delivered yesterday and they HAD to have been more like a size 36x36. It was ridiculous. The thing is... it's not just the sizing was, of course, WAY off, but they are the baggiest pants I have tried on since maybe 10 or 12 years ago! The rise was waaaay too long and around the hips and thighs, they fit more like a pair of classic Dockers or something to that effect as they bunched out and most certainly not straight or fitted whatsoever. My favorite is usually their boot cut chinos which.. if you pick out the right one's, are nice and slim all the way down with "just about" the perfect leg opening... more of a straight than flared. I was expecting something at least sort of similar but with a more narrow leg all the way down. Let me just say that "baggy" and "extremely tapered" are not a flattering fit. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and try a smaller size but I am not pleased whatsoever with these. I just hope it was the particular pair that I received. But then again, Banana needs to do something to get their sizing more consistent. This is not good business and whatever they need to do to fix this, they need to get it done. In my opinion too, they need to distance themselves from their other brands like GAP, Old Navy, etc... I never liked the marketing approach they went to a few years ago. I don't care how ... successful they are, if you're going to market to a mid higher level target, I think they need to show a little individualism. Ok, sorry to rant.. I'm just not pleased by the "cookie cutter" products they have spitting out. They are nice and heavy weight no doubt, which I give them credit for... but fit and consistency should be their main objective.
Utterly disappointed
I ordered Charleston brown, they gave me Green, which was not even listed for sale. What a difference a color makes! Also it says sitting lower at the waist, I'd say it sits higher at the waist. it makes me look like a dumpling. OK, will send it back to the store. Really a waste of time. Sigh...

great jeans
Look great, fit well (29w 32l). This is second pair I've ordered. Agree with complaints about other BR denim pants these days (didn't like "Straight fit black rinse jean" or "Boot cut dark wash jean"), but these work well.
Order down
Based on the reviews I ordered a 35W/30L for my husband instead of his usual 36/32 and they fit perfect. Nice jeans for the sale price. Easy to dress up or down by changing shirt and shoes.
Favorite Denims I own
I've had a pair of 28x30's for a while now and they've seen much use. They are my favorite denims and are a PERFECT FIT. I like my denims not too relaxed and not too tight. I have noticed the fashion trend of denims being made to fit TIGHT with a ridiculous low rise. I absolutely do not like that trend. BUT, these denims right here fit so well, I rate them as my best pair of Denims within the past TEN YEARS!!! To me, it is such a breath of fresh air! And, I was so grateful to learn that BR still has this style in their line and I recently ordered another pair( as my current pair has seen MUCH use), but this time a 28x28 (as this is my true size but 28x30 works too since I don't mind rolling the leg up). This time however my only gripe is the waist is a bit loose and the rise seems a bit low. The waist is about an inch or inch half off, more like a 29 or 29.5 (something I've noticed with all BR pants lately). This problem is easily fixed with the use of a belt, which I would normally wear regardless, so this problem is easily overlooked in the end. I still rate this pants highly since the leg and seat area are still PERFECT! I recommend these to anyone who is a fan of true straight fit denims.
Awesome...but legging flares out a little
These are awesome jeans. I got these on sale and they are some of the nicest jeans Ive bought. My only complaint is the leggings flares out a little at the bottom. Its not bad enough to be considered a boot cut. Works for me though. Very nice.
