Very nice pants
These pants are a nice addition to the long pants, warm weather collection. Nice color makes these a nice alternative to the standard kacki look that everyone wears. Good fit and material.

Nicely made vintage chino
Can't agree with the other review regarding how tight and loose these pants are. Because this is a Heritage "vintage" chino. It's how it is as its name says.

Very impressed!!
These pants are really unique and fit like a glove. That's a good thing when you don't have much of a backside like myself. It was a little snug on my "somewhat muscular" legs but that doesn't bother me so much.

So easy
I knew which pants I wanted and the website was extremely easy to use. The pants arrived a few days later and look great. Unfortunately anyone who needs a ... inseam longer than 34" can't buy them off the shelf in New York City so I had to go online to get them. I don't think of myself as much taller than average but obviously it doesn't make sense for BR to keep that length of pants in stock - which is too bad for me because they were having a great in store sale that I couldn't take advantage of for these pants. I will definitely use the website again for pants but only because I have to, I'd much rather buy my clothes "live."

This pant is not up to BR standard
For the past three years I've been a big fan of the BR Heritage vintage chino. I paid full price for the three pairs of these pants I already own. I didn't mind the more expensive price (when compared to the basic styles) because this style always paid attention to details that I appreciate. This is what I like about the older version of the style: 1) the notch in the back of the waist; 2) the change pocket sewn into the right front pocket; 3) the button fly (really who wants all those metal teeth so close to such sensitive parts); 3) the "tailored" construction (for those unfamiliar with this term, look at the interior of your pant; if there is a seam at the center of the waistband and the seat of the pant has additional fabric at the center seam, then you have "tailored" construction); 4) the construction and fabric of the inner waistband; 5) the color and feel of the fabric. What I dislike about this version of the Heritage vintage chino is its lack of the first four of these details. The fabric used for this version is good enough, though slightly rougher to the touch than in the previous versions I own. I can see where some people would have an issue with this, but it doesn't bother me enough to register a complaint. As far as the construction of the pant is concerned, there is a small amount of fabric in the seat, but no seam in the center of the waistband. It's like the designer wanted to give the illusion that this was a better ("tailored") constructed pant, when, in fact, it's not. The inner waistband is rough and not as high quality as it used to be. I am truly disappointed that there is no button fly, no notch in the waist, nor a change pocket sewn into the front pocket. Those details made the previous version of this pant special and worth the full price. Because the version of the pant offerred here lacks these details, it might as well be a Gap pant instead. Here's my bottom line, and I hope the designers at BR are paying attention: the fit of this pant is still excellent (thus warranting the 3 stars, though technically I'd prefer to give it a 2.5) but not worth the full price asked. If BR made this pant with the attention to detail used in previous iterations (the button fly, the notched waist, the change pocket, the tailored construction, etc.), then it would be worth the full price. Otherwise, it feels like BR cut a lot of corners to make this version of the Heritage vintage ... less special than it once was. Until BR returns to previous form with this ... buyers, who like the fit of this ... enough to look past the serious deficiencies I've outlined here, should only buy this ... it's on sale to get their money's worth.

Poor Quality
Several things are worth mentioning: The waist button was about to fall off. The tailoring proportionality was off: too loose in one place, too tight in another. The diameter of the legs was way off- too tight below the knees, too loose around the quads. The entire garment was way overrprioced for the quality of material and workmanship;. The pants were not desdigned for the Western body. My adivice- do not buy! Also ignore the categorioes abobe- these do not describe these pants. I give these pants a zero star rating.

Peg leg
I was so excited about these until trying them on and not be able to walk. Unless you suffer from muscular atrophy of the thighs, no man can wear these pants. If they had put just a hint of Lycra in them, I'd own them in every color. ...an extremely uncomfortable fit.

Awesome!
These ... pretty neat. I'm some times a bit skeptical of the BR Monogram line of clothing as I've been less than pleased at times with the fabrics used. In this case, I think BR got it right. The look, texture, color depth of the ... feel are all contributors to making these ... good purchase. The only thing I would caution is that you may want to get it a size longer than you normally would as it did wear a little smaller than usual. I wear a 38/32 had to change them for a 38/34. I think the modern look calls for a shorter fit, but I'm not quite there yet in feeling comfortable wearing high waters :)

Good stuff
For the ... they are a lot more fitted than the tailored fit suit. I usually wear 29 waist with slack to spare, for these ... went up to 30 so it's not overly tight when tucking in shirts. I have a athletic build so the thighs were kinda tight when i got the 29's, so thats another reason why i got the 30's. The tightness occurs when you sit down, otherwise standing is fine. To be honest, i could probably do wtih the 29's but i just don't like the look of having too tight of clothing. comfort wise, these are amazing; the material is awesome and cool to the touch.

Great set of ... beautiful suit
While the ... their own are gorgeous, the jacket that matches creates an incredible black suit. The weave give the ... very high end yet more casual look. The ... fit perfectly and feel good when on. I expect to wear this suit to work functions as well as more casual/fun events. This is my first full suit from Banana Republic and I am very impressed with the quality, fit and finish of their Monogram series. This pair of ... great buy.

Love these ...
I love these ... just bought another pair. I just wish BR would stock these more in my size, which always seems to be out of stock...either that, or someone constantly stalks the website and buys them all. More size 30X32 and 29X32 sizes please BR, thanks!. You do need to be slim and/or slim/fit to fit in these comfortably.

nice ...
Booty is a bit tight for those of you with junk in the trunk. ... leg width is nice and slim though and material is soft and great quality. I am 6'2 190lbs and I stay in shape but everyone can see my booty in these ... Ideal fit for slimmer guys with no junk in the trunk.

Slim Fit ... Fit Like Tailored Fit
Once again, BR does it right with ... actually don't have to go get tailored! I'm 6'1", and whenever I buy dress ... (32x34) from Express, Calvin Klein, etc., I always have to have the hem taken up and the waist and seat taken in. Of the seven BR suits I own, not one pair has required tailoring. Then again, considering the cost of the merchandise--especially the Monogram suits--they ought to fit like a glove. And these are no exception; however, these are advertised as slimmer fit, but these ... fit precisely like several tailored fit suit ... have from BR. Now, as far as the coordinating suit coat goes, well, that is in fact a tighter fit than the tailored fit jackets I've bought from BR--particularly in the arm holes. No room for a lightweight sweater under the slimmer fit jacket. The fabric used for these ... fantastic--a really nice semi stretchy wool weave.

Nice ... slim fit. Nice quality and weight wool
I bought the ... along with the matching BR Monogram jacket to complete a suit. I wear 32 and it was true to fit. It's slim fit so it's well tailored to hug the waist and hip line snugly. I guess I need to loose a couple pounds for it to be perfect but they still feel and look great.

Awesome Split ...
Love the suit and always get a compliment or two. I work rigorously in my suits i.e. up/down from standing to a squat for sometimes 10 hours in a day, even running in it sometimes. I always always have my suits re tailored after purchasing from BR for length only. Unfortunately the ... split in the thigh last week and not on the seam (which might seem weird). I have purchased a couple more ... hope they will last me more than just a three uses.

Fantastic
I love the Monogram line and in paticular this suit coat and ... My only complaint would be the length of the ... which has an inseam of 34, is just a tad bit too short.

stand up ...
You don't need to be fit to wear these ... If you are fit, you would have some muscles left in your thigh and then you would look just like me in these ... really great when I am standing, since I can't sit down in them.

Not what I expected
I bought these pants for my Boyfriend and felt that since I own several BR pieces that the quality would be the same. I was wrong. The material felt like polyester! I was under the impression that I was receiving solid BLACK pants, not the Black ish ... little checkers on them that we got. I returned the ... store and went to [...] and bought a pair of Hugo Boss ... which where superior in quality & fit and I only paid about $20 more for designer ... BR is really getting beside themselves with the price of these ... quality of their product. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
