Boxers review
My husband tells me these are the most comfortable of all the brands he has in his drawer. They were purchased to replace and old pair from a LONG time ago that got ripped... so I can say they are durable, long lasting, and comfortable. The elastic band covered in material is a nice touch.

My girlfriend loves these boxers. On me.
I free lance and work from my home so I spend a lot of time in boxers. The generous cut combined with the darker and more interesting fabric makes them perfect for wearing around the house without looking like you are wearing underwear. Pin dot... very sophisticated.

Great overall, a bit loose in the rear, and a bit pricey for underpants
The title says it all... They look great, but a little loose in the rear and the leg, and a bit pricey for underpants... Almost $20. I could just go buy cotton boxers in a 3 pack for that price but unfortunately, I'm a sucker like many of us and once I've ordered something I rarely return it unless it simply won't work.

Great ... overall, a little pricey
Quality: good to great; Appearance: classic and dignified; Cost: They're freaking cotton boxers for crying out loud... almost $20? Sorry [$]. The only person that's going to see them is my girlfriend and my roommate. (yes, ... your undershirt is the standard uniform around this house from the time work is over until it's time to go out). Overall, I love them, but it the cost benefit analysis for a pair of boxers is a bit steep just because it has a BR logo on it.

Boxers Are Too Long
The quality of materials used for these boxers is still the same a previous pairs I've owned in the past. My complaint about these is they are too long now. I find the length uncomfortable and the seat a little saggy. It feels like they need a liner inside so I can go swimming. I would like boxers, not swim trunks. I do find the dot pattern stylish and attractive. I was going to update my boxers but I think I will wait to make sure they have corrected this length problem before I buy anymore.

Boxers okay
These boxers are very nice, well made as you'd expect. Fabric is very nice, washes well. And I guess they are of the "current style". I wish they weren't so big and baggy. They require much looser pants, but again, that's likely the target style, so if you like the loose fit, you'll like these.

Different Fit
I've been wearing BR boxers for more than 10 years. I was surprised when my new boxers arrived and they fit different than my old ones from the past. They are much longer and looser than before. I still like them, but, prefer the old fit.

BR ... shorts
BR boxers seem to vary greatly in quality. I ordered four pairs of the same underwear and two fit as expected. The other two pairs were cut very tightly and did not fit well. After the first wash, one pair started fraying at one of the seems. Additionally, BR seems to be using lower quality, printed fabrics rather than yarn dyed or woven fabrics they used a few years ago. Still, if you can get them on sale I would recommend these underwear. Just keep the receipt incase they don't fit as expected.

just okay...
I have been loyal to BR boxers for years but they have almost worn out their welcome. With each new incarnation, quality continues to decrease. Fabrics are cheaper, sizing and fit has changed, and the waistbands are narrower, less well made, and far less comfortable. For the first time, I am thinking about looking elsewhere. BR should consider these to be a loss leader, an inexpensive quality way to bring people to the brand. I am less likely to look to BR for other things because of the way they have gamed us all on boxers.

Cutting costs by using less fabric?
I've been buying BR boxers for my husband for years, as they were the only ones that he found comfortable. Over the past two years, the quality of the boxers has deteriorated and they have become smaller and smaller. I bought 3 pair and 2 pair (mini dot and medalion) were too small, so I need to return them for one size larger or get my money back. Only the banker stripe boxers were sized appropriately.

new sizing is enormous!!
For several years, these have been my favorite brand of boxers. Kindly, my wife picked a couple pairs up for me shortly before I traveled out of town for business. They have changed the size on these in a BIG way: waists are now 2.5 inches bigger, length is two inches longer, and as others have noticed, the seat is WAY baggier. Given that BR pants are typically cut pretty slim, it seems really odd that these are cut so loosely. Since I figured that ... cuts wouldn't just randomly change, I was stuck w/ wearing these when out of town and now I cannot return them. They are baggy and saggy in ways that are really uncomfortable; hence, they are worthless to me, which is sad because they were almost $17 a pair. When they were cut to fit well, that was almost not a ridiculous price, but I will now never buy these unless they return to something like their earlier cut.

Nice colors, Ok fit
This ... OK. I was a big fan of BR factory boxers...so I thought this would be OK, but make sure to notice how the back of some of these are made.

I have bought BR ... many times before. They seem to have gotten bigger over the years. The length is too long and the leg opening is too big. I stand about 5'7, I purchased the Small. The length is almost as long as when I am wearing shorts. The ... were made about 2 years ago were perfect size. Hope they revert back to that.

Too Big!!!
I was so disappionted with these. I am an loyal customer with BR, and have purchased quite a few pairs of boxers through them. These run big and long, not like other pairs that I have bought with BR before. With the other BR pairs that I have purchased in the "medium size" they've all been the same fit. However when compared to these new boxers, I recieved recently, thier small in size. If you purchase these just know they run big, both in the waist and the length. The only thing that really prevented me from returning them was the patteren was true to the picture. I'm hoping that they will shrink alittle before I start to wear them. If you like your boxers to run big then these are for you.

WAY TOO BIG
For the past 5-7 years I have bought all of my boxers exclusively from BR. I wear a small. I recently bought several new pairs of boxers and was astonished at how big they are on me. They hang dangerously close to my knees. I got my other BR boxers out of the drawer to compare them to my new ones, and sure enough, the new ones look to be about an inch or so longer. Unfortunately there are no size XS boxers, so I guess it's finally time to look for a new brand. It's too bad because I love the look, feel, and quality of BR ...

Best quality
BR stretch cotton boxers are the best fitting, best quality, best wearing My husband is shopping resistant so generally I purchase for him and he approves or not by wearing or not wearing. These boxers are always in the laundry as he chooses to wear them over any other.

these boxers are comfortable
I purchased 3 pairs (for savings) of the black trunk ... banana republic. I tried several different brands of boxers over the years and these more the most comfortable pair I own. quality is excellent and I would buy these again.

Great Product
I've searched weeks + weeks online for a pair of ... shorts that weren't too tall in the waist or too long in the leg. These seemed to fit the bill. Great fit, feel great. If I could change one thing it would be to have in 100% cotton. These are 5% spandex, but it seems like much more than that. Helps w/ the stretch, but more of a cotton feel would be better. My BF loves these too.

everyday underwear
I was tired of my boyfriend wearing underwear that was too big and old and falling apart. He purchased some Banana Republic sport trunks at one of the outlets about a year ago. They became favorites. He nor I had ever purchased from the online store but I was guessing the underwear would be similar so I surprised him with some replacements for those he wore out. He was very happy with the feel and quality. They were also the perfect length. Everything as expected. He can wear them with anything. They are much better than his Gap trunks.

Great Boxers
Comfortable, well priced and good quality.

Best Underwear Yet
I only wear red underwear . It is my good luck charm. These fit and wear well because of the stretch with the cotton. They wash well and do not shrink. I always order more when there is a sale. Im a big guy and it fits true to size( 42 inch waist) I wear an xl in these shorts. I only wish I could purchase them in the store rather than online.

Great...but needs improvement.
I love these underwear. I have even got several of my friends to buy them too. They look great, they're comfortable and wash well. Some big problems that I have are...After wearing for a short time the legs stretch out a lot and then they tend to ride up. Also they are very linty, leaving behind pieces of the fabric on my legs, and other more intimate places of my body.

Good, but Inconsistent
These trunks are very good in almost every respect. The stitch quality is excellent, the Pima cotton spandex mix is very soft, flexible, and breathable. You will find them to be quite comfortable throughout the day. The color selection is respectable too. The one big problem is that sizing is vastly inconsistent. I bought four of these and none of them is exactly the same size. Some are very loose while some fit like they should. I think Banana QA should work on this ASAP because if they can correct this, these would be 5-star trunks.

Sport Trunk ... Brief
I am a big fan of Banana Republic clothes. Every time I go shopping I always find something new, exciting, and trendy. I will admit I do much more online shopping than actually going into a store. Nevertheless, Banana always offers a nice selection of clothing. I love the men's sport trunk ... brief especially the colors and material. The only problem I have is the threading around the opening of the legs always comes un done after one wash.

They may be comfortable and all that stuff, but they are missing one BIG thing that men's underwear should have. There's no fly, so these might as well be panties. Really, who makes men's underwear without a fly?! [@]? If you were these don't plan on [*], unless you're going to pop a squat and pee....... [@]. These fail as men's underwear.

An annual present
Not an exciting birthday present, but one I always send to my son. He loves these boxers though won't buy them for himself so I do! He says these are the softest and the most comfortable! Very pleased and generally can find good offers and free shipping if I look hard enough!

Finally a perfect fit
When buying a primarily elastic piece of clothing it is very important for it to fit just right in order to meet all its expected purposes, and these ... briefs have exceeded my expectations. I will admit that I have had some previous trouble with sizes at BR. The button ups tend to be too big compared to other brands (with consideration of size) and some styles of pants are just not exactly true to fit and require tailoring, but these are just right, and sized to fit. Perfect! The quality and comfort are superior as well, even when compared to other brands like underarmor.

... Brief
I have tried several brands of ... brief and found that unlike most of the other brands that stretch out and feel loose by the end of the day, the BR boxers hold up their shape and feel soft and comfortable.

Mens underwear
The underwear looked extemely big when they came but were perfect after one washing. They hold there shape well and do not stretch out like some do after they are worn. My husband loves them and grabs them first every time they are in the drawer.

The Best for Thin Men
My husband LOVES these ... briefs. He's quite fit and thin, but these fit well throughout the day, unlike cheaper brands which end up stretched out to the shape of regular boxers by evening. And they last - he still wears pairs that he's had for 3 or 4 years and they look and fit like new. I won't buy him any other kind!

First time i tried a pair of these and I'm very happy with them. They don't stretch out after half a day like all the rest. Very comfy with great movement. Comes in great colors, nothing too flashy or too boring. Big fan of BananaRepublic.

A Brief Moment
Stretch pima cotton boxers by Banana Republic is the best for me and its just the right size and fit, I left Calvin Klein far BEHIND since his jeans and briefs for the real comfortable feeling and freedom I get with the Stretch pima cotton boxers by Banana Republic. Its as if you are not wearing anything very nice and smooth. And when I sit down or casually walk the office I feel great, because it moves when I move. Great product Banana Republic....really great!

Ultimate ... Shorts
The best boxers I ever had. Keeps tools in place, very comfortable and look good. Price is great too. Sizes are big and do not follow the size charts for pants, so make sure to order right size.

I bought them for my boyfriend, and he loves them! He is a big guy so I ordered a XL but apparently I overestimated the sizes. If you're ordering, you might want to consider going down a size. These boxers loosen up a bit during the course of the day.

They are a bit big, which is annoying b/c most BR stuff is slightly undersized. I thought the one post about shrinking them sounded okay, but THIS IS BAD ADVICE. As is typical, they shrink lengthways, not in width. So, buy them tight enough and wash in cold, then tumble or air dry. I do think the Old Navy type are better even if they seem they won't last quite as long. It might not sound impressive, but my cheap Fruit of the Loom stuff is better than either BR or ON buys.

light weight
Loved these ... briefs. In a world filled with 100% cotton boxerbriefs that tend to stretch out by noon time, these BR boxerbriefs, with a little bit of stretch, are the answer to my issues! The fit is awesome, I was surprised that the size was perect, I'm a big guy so I wear the 2X, and they couldnt have been better. The only issue that I can find is that the length of the leg could have been an inch longer, as they seem to ride up after a long day. The only other product out there that is better would have to be the 'Exofficio' brand ... briefs. These, however, are on the right path and will replace my 'Old Navy' ... briefs.

greatest underwear i have worn.
I love these briefs. Had worn boxers for most my life, and upon switching to briefs, tried a lot of different pairs. These are the best all around, and have become my everyday underwear. Very comfortable, Very true to siize, they dont lose their shape half way through the day. Just great all around briefs. Thanks BR!!!!

I like briefs more than boxers , but find that many briefs get stretched out and "old man " looking. These hold their shape and are contemporary in proportions. Good Job !

Buy extras
A couple years back i switched from boxers to briefs after trying some other brans i settled on these. Amazing fit and excellent comfort. My friend spent the night a while back and when he showered in the morning he needed clean underwear he grabbed a pair of these (he was a boxerbriefs guy) and marveled at the comfort. Since that day he has been stealing a pair every now and then. I'm buying some replacements today and some for him. I guess thats as good an endorsement as it gets.

Never thought I would wear briefs!
Stayed at my brothers apartment in DC while he was away on business, forgot to pack some boxers, (thought no big deal, my brother and I are the same size) Went into his underwear drawer after showering and there was one pair of boxers and a few of these briefs. Never took him for a brief guy and the boxers looked ragged. So what the hell, grabbed the briefs, and from the time I put them on, could not beleive how comfortable they were. so I took those and one more pair the next day when i was leaving. Told my roomate about it now he has switched to briefs, thanked my brother and he sent me some more for my b day. Love these briefs

Comfy, long lasting briefs
The stretch pima cotton briefs are the most comfortable underwear I have ever had. I started buying them just over 2 years ago during one of the 30% off sales and won't buy anything else. The colors and quality are great. Highly recommended for anybody who like classic briefs over boxers or any of the long briefs (which really wanted to like but they seemed to constantly ride up my legs).

VERY Unfortunate --there are 3 different cuts/styles of this item!
The five stars are for the current/new version only! The current cut/revision of these underwear are perfect! HOWEVER, I have received two (2) other versions of these briefs! There are old versions on shelves in stores and I have seen and been sent the older versions several times and have taken them back. You can tell the older ones by looking at the price on the box. The old ones either have the old price obscured (rubbed out) or priced with a sticker price over the old price. The new (perfect fit) ones have the [$] price printed on the box label. The old ones are either tall (high rise) with fly flap that opens, or very low with loose legs such that they ride up in back and gap uncomfortably in front.

No more boxers?
A while back a buddy and i had been working in my yard and we decided to go for dinner. We showered and he asked to borrow some clothes and underwear. Instead of taking boxers from my drawer (which he normally wears) he took a pair of these briefs. At dinner he made several comments about them. Through out the night he kept saying how much he liked them. They are my fav to as I have about 12 or more pairs of them. When we got home he asked if he could take a couple pairs of them. I gave him a new box with two pairs and since he's been telling all our friends how much he likes these briefs. I'm here ordering two boxes for him, it's his birthday. This appears to be the end of him wearing boxers.

Nice underwear Not true to size
The underwear when worn is just a tad bit smaller than a normal big and tall XXL size especially after being washed . They are very nice though and stylish .

Big legs required
Granted men have bigger legs by nature but these undies require rugby style leg muscle! i bought the Small size and the leg opening were just too loose. I didn't feel comfortable with the possibility of having things slip out. Rather go with a ... short if I wanted so much movement.
